We did have 1 issue. After driving over 1,100 miles from Florida to Texas fully loaded (6x12 trailer), after I unloaded the trailer and was on my way to return it, it came UNHOOKED from the truck. It literally just came off the trailer ball. Fortunately the chains were secure. Primarily because I had re-attached them, since they left them really long and they were dragging on the ground. So I twisted them up tighter and re-attached them so that they wouldn't drag. Thank goodness that I did, because that kept the trailer from hitting the back of my truck. The tighter chains only allowed the trailer to get so close to the truck. The trailer tongue went completely underneath my truck when I slowed down and ultimately stopped. It was very dangerous and I couldn't help but think what could have happened if this had happened while driving on the freeway with a fully loaded trailer. It could have been catastrophic !! Fortunately, we were moved and empty and I was close to the drop off location.

I wouldn’t recommend this specific location based on my experience, although I want to be clear that U-Haul corporate ultimately resolved the issue professionally. I scheduled a SMART pickup for 8:30 AM and also reserved moving equipment. The system allowed me to select that time, so I reasonably assumed the equipment would already be loaded onto the truck and ready for pickup. When I arrived, I was told the equipment would not be available until later and was advised to come back, even though the reservation system had confirmed the earlier time and was still going to charge me. This completely defeated the purpose of scheduling in advance and created unnecessary delays and mileage concerns. My second issue was with the return. I picked up the truck at a quarter tank and returned it at the same quarter tank. The location took photos confirming this. Despite that, I was charged a $30 fuel service fee and an additional charge for approximately 6 gallons of gas. That is mathematically and procedurally inconsistent with the documented fuel level. To add to the concern, during SMART pickup the app only allowed me to photograph the license plate and did not allow me to capture the fuel gauge or mileage due to a system issue. I proactively reported this because I did not want to be charged inaccurately due to missing documentation. Based on the distance I traveled (approximately 23 miles, mostly surface roads due to nearby construction), the fuel and service fees still did not align with the actual usage or the quarter-tank return shown in their own photos. I ultimately spoke with a live corporate representative, Michael, who was professional, thorough, and resolved the issue appropriately. Because of his assistance, I am satisfied with U-Haul as a company and would use them again. However, the lack of coordination, clarity, and accurate billing at this particular location made the experience frustrating and unreliable. Corporate made it right — but this branch did not, and for that reason, I would not do business with this specific location again.

I returned thr truck same day..he took the key from outside the building no receipt and said nothing..maybe they don't like black customers..this is the same business I called for tent and a radio replacement . They answered the phone asked what I needed sucked their teeth but me on hold without saying a word and never came back from hold..

Gerard MNo issues, but I can see an older person or a female having a heck of a time getting a trailer off the back of a truck ball. That thing is really heavy. Overall, PCA is easy to work with and I will rent from them again. Plus, they have a lot of cool car items in the shop!

KENNETH BFacility for pickup was nice, and staff were friendly, but the truck itself was in rough shape. The alignment was WAAAAY off, and the brakes shuddered at every press of the pedal. Was a pretty sketchy ride, but I suppose it was adequate, as I was was able to complete my move.

ROBERT OBad experience, I requested the 10’ truck at guest the agent told me he had it, few hours later he told me he didn’t and I had to rent the 15’, the truck was dirty and had dog hair, and I’m sure they charged me cleaning fee, and extra charges that I didn’t asked for, I used the truck for 2 hours,. When I came back I saw the 2 10 feet parked and they were there when I rented the truck. I pad $72 my bill should have been way less without the extra charges and the original truck I wanted to rent.
CYNTHIA WU-Haul is a side hustle for them but it works. They are professional, the shop was clean and they took care of me promptly. Checked me out in a friendly and timely manner. Kudos
