The only thing I can say is that this place really needs a new parking lot. We just had a lot of rain and the parking lot was just a big lake. Had to walk through deep puddles of water to get to truck and when walking from my car.

The inside office itself could be cleaner or more presentable. Would suggest a little more gravel by front door as hopping over large puddles was annoying to get into office. Gentlemen inside was friendly and everything including contract done quickly and efficiently. He provided additional information in the event the truck was delivered back after office was closed. Re ceived final bill quickly.

4 things: 1) UHaul corporate changed the pick up location to this location. It was 3 miles further from my loading location and 4 miles closer to my unloading location. Therefore, the change left me 8 miles short on prepaid miles I had to pay for. 2) The person told me the truck had 1/4 of gas. It was 1/8 tank. I had to stop ON THE WAY to my loading location to get gas. I had to guess the MPG of the truck to not under or over-fill. It was a waste of my time and I ended up dropping it off with 1/4 tank so wasted money on gas. 3) The truck had a dirty front passenger seat. 4) Instructions from the person at this location concerning the drop off location turned out to be incorrect. You can't drop it at "any location so pick the one closest to your unloading location." Note my comments about Jill at UHaul corporate for the drop off. She made 1+2 better.

We had significant difficulties processing our reservation for pickup, and ended up 90 minutes behind schedule for our move. Additionally, despite showing proof of our reservation and quoted price, we were overcharged by $30. The consultant first agreed to credit this charge himself, but only after paying then said “someone else will take care of that for you.”

I was expected to use a wifi app to rent and there was no wifi onsite. That seemed to confuse customer service and then found out their wifi was down. I was on hold too long. In addition, your instructions for 24/7 rentals are confusing. I never got called about the rental, got emails that said the equipment I wanted may not be available and spent hours before the rental sorting it out.

I was very upset because I reserved a truck over a week in advance in one location where I could go in and pay, but my truck was no longer available there by the time my reservation was scheduled. My reservation was changed to another location where I couldn’t go in a pay, but nothing told me that. So I went and had to wait an hour and a half to get approved online. It was not a good experience at all.

Worst customer service ever. I would not let anyone rent from them place. The guy running it is horrible to customers, bad mouths them and it's like he is doing you a favor to actually be there to help. He did not know how to run the computer and after waiting and waiting and him making 2 phone calls for help, finally was able to rent me a truck. Please do U-Haul a great service and shut this place down ASAP!!!

Customer Service was poor with several calls from the person running the small shop U-Haul during the day telling me to pick up the U-Haul ASAP despite the fact, I had a reservation at 2. I received a call around 9 am, again around 11 telling me someone took it and wouldn't be back till 3 then another around 1 telling me it was back and to come get it ASAP because i was interrupting them starting their day. I was also charged $8 for use a credit card and $9 because I forgot to return some of the gross mattress pads. Terrible experience, wouldn't use again.

My credit card was charged twice for the rental. When I never received any notice of the pending charges and the customer service rep was very rude and snotty. However the guy from the office was very nice. This was the worse experience I had with UHaul. I been a customer for years don’t think I will ever return

There was a worn out, small, hand written sign with a number to call to reach the dealer. I waited over 20 minutes for him to arrive and then it took him 40 minutes to process my reservation and I was the only person there. He was very rude and the building was very dirty and filled with clutter. Couldn’t believe it was an actual dealer

The trailer had no jack on the tongue so my wife and I (66 75) had to try to lift the trailer by hand. Very heavy and difficult.

I was told by the contractor that he would charge me for one day rate by turning in the vehicle the following day within the 24 hour mark. He also indicated since he did not have the 17 foot truck that I had requested, he would give me the 20 foot truck for the same price. None of the conditions he indicated were implement it and I was double charged.

Harvey at Precision Services was incredibly nice and accommodating. He had to make up for the terrible customer service at U-Haul Moving & Storage at Us Highway 70 (422 New Raleigh Hwy) - who gave my reservation away, bumped me to Precision Services, and never even called me. It was Harvey who called and apologized, and took care of us when we arrived. He made up for a bad situation at the other dealer. I will no longer use U-Haul Moving & Storage at Us Highway 70, and will instead give my business to Precision Services.

The engine light was on at pick up, person in charge told me that it was a minor maintance misshap however I had no issues with the truck. Truck was returned with half tank of gas just like I picked it up but I was still charged for some gas. ...

I made a truck rental reservation at E. Cornelius Rd location but, instead, I received an email directing me to go to a small storage-like office on S. Alston Ave where an elderly gentleman works by himself. I needed just truck rental so that I requested him to cancel towing trailer. Somehow, he ended up cancelling my entire order (truck, dolley and pads rental) and he had to begin the ordering process all over again - he was extremely slow on typing onto his laptop and it took him more than 30 minutes for that.

Mile gauge value 77540.2 is correct. When I took the truck the fuel was between 3/4th and 7/8th but when I returned it was FULL. Please find the photo below which I took when I returned it. So I need to get the refund for the overfill of the fuel amount 3/4th and FULL. The fuel amount was not calculated properly.

Communication with UHaul was terrible. To start, I reserved a 17' truck but was only given a 15' truck. I asked for a price reduction because I did not get the product that I reserved but was not given one. When UHaul called to confirm my reservation I could not answer the phone because I was at work so the UHaul representative made arrangements without my input. Since this happened two days before my scheduled move I did not have the opportunity to cancel my reservation, which I would have if I had known my truck size was downgraded without a price concession. The representative stated that a 15' truck could easily move my 2 bedroom townhome. This is not correct. I had to make an extra trip to complete the move, which increased my mileage that I paid for. The location to pick up the UHaul truck is not convenient to a gas station. I will not be using UHaul again.

Trying to return the uhaul was a nightmare - the location i was first sent to was out-of-buiness. I called uhaul - was a 45 min on hold wait - while waiting i found a place with uhauls parked outside - i stopped and they would not take the uhaul but sent me to this presicion place- This place was closed and looked shut-down. I left the trailer there and was worried about being charged for a stolen trailer. I called uhaul waited on hold for 45 more minutes and explained it too the lady - she was very nice and helpful but waiting for 45min to talk to a human is unacceptable - hire more ppl

The gentleman was friendly and kind but had no experience with computers. We spent hours trying to get our rental done. We were charged for an appliance dolly rental that never got put on the truck and we were set to leave that day. We ended up hours behind schedule and nearly missed out on our moving help. It was a very rough experience.

I had ordered an applicance dolly and 6 pads, and they were not in the truck. Also, the online pick-up and return process was not smooth, as the system kept complaining that I needed to upload a more recente Picture, even though I was just taking them in the moment. I was not able to successfuly complete the return, and I ended up getting charged for the dolly and pads, even though I never got them. I have used this location twice before, and it was smooth, as the gentleman who runs it was there. But I will never use the online pick-up / return, ever again.

The place wasn't well maintained. The guy running the establishment took forty minutes to check the trailer out (I had a reservation and card on file) and there was no one in line ahead of me. After taking the trailer back to my place I opened it up to find it half full of someone else's stuff. At that point I had to drive back to the facility and ask them to empty the trailer for me. Horrible experience.
