This is a roadside self storage operation that is NOT STAFFED. I purposefully chose to pick up the equipment at a UHaul center so I wouldn't have this problem. Instead, about an hour before my scheduled pick up time, I was called by the original pickup UHaul in Albany and rerouted to this location 15 miles away on a late Friday afternoon. The new location had no knowledge that I was arriving, and the trailer was behind a locked gate. I did call a posted number and had to wait for someone to arrive to let me in and check me out. The attendant was very nice and did her very best to get me on my way. I was told the trailer had recently been dropped off. It was clear that someone had used it to move dirt. The inside was very dusty and the outside needed a wash. One tire needed air.

EDWARD TThe Princetown Road UHaul location was great along with customer service over the phone! The only issue I had was with the UHaul app which made things really difficult to quickly check in and out. I was not able to upload pictures onto the app and the app kept glitching which made the process a lot longer. Other than issue with the app, everything was great!

Sandra HWe had the worst experience. Reserved a cargo van one way a month in advance. Two days before pick up we are told it's changed to a truck. We didn't want to drive a truck in queens. Then they change the pick up location. Have to use the app at that location which is crap. Gives us the fence code, we go in fence closes behind us, and then tells us to get the key which is OUTSIDE the fence. We were locked in and my husband had to jump the fence twice. Then we get the code out and go. Then I get a text that our drop off location is different than the one in our contract. You can't change the drop off AFTER I have the truck! Called the drop off location in Glendale and I think I woke the man up. No help. Called the 800 number and finally got the ok to drop off at the original location. Paid for a hand dolly that was not in the truck, making the move more difficult. I do not recommend your company.
