The prior two experiences with U-Haul (Not This Location) were horrible. The staff at this location went above and beyond the point of Great Service! Their Store should be be used as a Training Facility. Nice Job and thank you to The Men and Women Employed at your Hastings, MN Location!Steven N.

I ordered a appliance dolly and they never put it in the truck..but charged me for it.....then the gas tank showed About 1/2 full..I was under the impression they should start out with a full tank and have it returned full...not at this location...I drove it to my house about 15 miles and the tank was down to 1/4! I ended up filling it figuring it's a gas hog...after driving 115 miles I returned it with 7/8 a tank! So I ended up giving them a truck back with alot more gas the they started me with! Kind of a rip off. They need to send it out full so this doesn't happen!Kay T.

Horrible! Had checl out at 6am....didn't work. On hold with call for over an hour. Hannah from control was no help. Lied and refused to get management. Went back and learned truck was box in and without key. Jeff Baldwin laughed about it. 3 HOURS LATER and 1.6 HOURS ON HOLD we FINALLY got the truck. Local employee did care said not her problem . they sent out a young man who nothing about hooking up trailers - he would have send me off with a loose trailer ball connection. I knew something was wrong and called over the manager to fix the connection (and both of them sent me off without crossing the safety chains). - my comment -train your employees first before you send them out to do trailer connections. The trailer would have popped off the hitch within a few miles - an accident waiting to happen!Anthony M.

When a trailer is reserved, that trailer should be available at the requested location. Driving an extra 2 hours to obtain the trailer is absolutely terrible service.LON P.

The online reservation was easy until we got to the pickup spot. Once we got there the app kept asking for alternate phone #s and then called two of the #s, not sure why that was necessary since a license and photo was submitted? It took us at least half hour to get into the actual truck and find the key. Maybe streamline that process or recommend downloading the app ahead and allow some of those steps ahead of time to save time when you get there? Otherwise the truck worked great for our needs. Wasn't horribly dirty but definitely not clean in the cab.Greg G.

My only issue was with the self-service. When I arrived at my pickup time I tried to use the self-service feature but received messages saying that I couldn't. Luckily there were still employees working after hours and they were able to help me. If that was not the case it would have significantly impacted my plans. Employees said that many people have been having issues with the self-service. Please fix this and/or give people warning until it is resolved.Geoffrey C.

I was disappointed when I had to go to this location in the first place. I booked my truck for the Maplewood location and they still were unable to come up with a truck at this location.The location in. Hastings did not go over previous damage with us. The dollys we rented were just tossed in the back of the truck and not secured.Matthew P.
Our truck was filthy when we got into it. There was tobacco everywhere. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke and was disgusting. We had to stop and clean it out and buy air freshners. The clerk was the only one working and it would have taken forever for her to do it. I also hate that we had to drive to a different city to pick up the truck even though I reserved it a month ahead of time and the location that I reserved it at called days ahead of time to say that it was not going to be there. In that time perhaps they could have driven it to the intended location. UHaul has done this before and it is a huge inconvenience when you are dealing with cities that are not close together.Angela P.

Van was full of mud and dirt. Had to stop at Walmart to get a tarp to protect my property that I was using the van to move from the mud. Not happy. Building and their lot was a mess and very unprofessional.Justin P.

You can improve On sending notifications to the rental place. I used the 24/7 reservation and was Picking up uhaul after hours. When I got to place the online wouldn't let me proceed said I had to pickup while place was open luckily someone was still at store to assist meSusan T.

Originally reserved a 20 foot truck. Was contacted the next day saying they don't rent the 20 foot trucks to same return area, only one way which sounded ridiculous. Had to settle for a much smaller truck which took me 4 trips instead of 2. I was only planning on using it for one day but needed an extra day because of the extra trips. Very dissatisfied and will look for other options next time.kenneth L.
The trailer we ended up renting needs some work on the door. It was very hard to close and when it was opened, it tended to retract too far. The handle and grab strap went up above the door and was very hard to get back down, especially when the handle got in the way. I had to stick my hand way up inside to figure out how to get everything to release. The ladies that helped us were very efficient and knowledgeable.Bryan F.

When we got our truck there was no dolly in the back and the moving blankets were all out of the bag and on the ground. Also, I had stopped and got gas right down the street from the location and when I had to take the pic it was showing a little lower then the 3/4 tank which it said it had when i picked it up. I thought I had out in enough gas so not sure if it takes a few minutes for it to move up which would have been where it was suppose to be. I forgot yo check the gas and milage when I got in the truck so I hope those numbers were correct, I didn't think I exceeded the milage but according to the checkin I did.Michael P.
