This location should never b Uhaul dealer. When I returned auto transport I was asked to move it for them to other end of lot and was told to unhook it myself which I did and when I went in to get receipt and deposit back I was told that they couldn't give me deposit and they wouldn't have return receipt ready for couple hours cause they didn't have time to check it in and then said that I didn't park trailer the right way and said I needed to hook back up to it and park it the way they said. I told them I didn't work for them and not my responsibility to arrange their equipment on their lot. I paid a lot of money for that rental and they could move it themselves and then I was told I wouldn't get deposit back plus they would charge me an extra $20 for not moving it again. It was where they asked me to put it and was not in the way of anything. I hope u deal with this appropriately. I just couldn't believe they treat customers this way. Thank u, Dawn AndersonDawn A.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Was called the day prior to confirm the reservation. Told her I would be there on time, then told me to not be late cause they're busy. On inspection of my car my left signal for the trailer wasn't working. I was doing my best to detect the issue but the owner kept berating that my car doesn't work. He then simply told me to go get it fixed and walked away. No help or anything (this location is an automotive repair shop). After about 5 minutes I found the issue and fixed it. The only other problem was I couldn't properly inspect the trailer cause it was buried in a snow pile and the owner didn't want to brush the snow out and I quote â€œuhaul don't pay me enough to do thatâ€. Absolute worst attitude and customer service.nathan O.

I brought back my trailer and went up to the location. There was a man standing in the open door so I walked up and said I had a trailer to return. He said he was closed and they would check it in the next day. He told me where to back it in at. This area is difficult because it is dirt and then transitions into a piece of cement. It is difficult to back into. I would recommend that if you are closed, you should leave the large overhead door shut so you don't look like you are unhelpful.Randy D.

Your reservation process is useless. I "reserved" a 5Ã—10 trailer at the Manhattan, KS location for Saturday. Then I got a call that they didn't have that size of trailer so they gave me a 6Ã—12. Then they said Manhattan, KS doesn't have ANY available trailers so we'd have to go to Junction City, KS. THEN they said they weren't even open on Saturdays! In the future, please take your reservations seriously. If you can't fulfill a specific request, don't have it as an option on the website.Andrew H.

The employee working behind the desk at this location was incredibly rude and had a short temper. When we arrived an employee came out to check the hitch. After a short conversation we were told they would not issue us the trailer with the hitch the way it current was (too high). We entered the shop and asked if they had a wrench (this is an auto garage) to adjust the ball height to meet specifications. Ultimately, the man working behind the desk threatened my father we would lose the trailer if we didn't sit down and wait. We had to purchase a whole new hitch from this location for over $40.Glen B.

The manager here was rude. He didn't care about the customers at all, only about the money and getting us out the door. They didn't try to help me at all loading my car onto the trailer. the straps were almost too small to wrap around the tires to secure my car on the auto transport. straps were torn, needed replacing. Also, I rented a truck and an auto transport. I had to drive over 40 miles to pick up both items from two different locations. I ended up having to pay mileage overage. It was barely over, but If I had to pay, which I probably would not have If I did not have to take the truck to pick up the auto transport at a different town.Pedro M.

Yes...well maintained. However, if they still have that 6 X 12 they might want to check the sliding door. One time it went up...then it did not want to come down. It was getting jammed up at the top of the opening. It happened once...and other than that...worked fine.Stuart W.
The owner/operator was helpful, but Uhaul systems were down and he was on the phone with 2 or 3 people who couldn't help him with how to circumvent the computer system to rent a trailer. There needs to be a process for manual contracts so that the customer does not have to wait for excessive periods of time. ThanksKEVIN L.
