I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 10:00 am at the Golden Ring location. I received a late text telling me I now had to go to the liquor store location further into Baltimore City. Not the best area to be waiting for a U- haul truck. Anyhow their U-haul manager didn't come in until 10:30 but no one told me that until I called the main U-haul website. I even went in the liquor store and ask the guy working the register and he directed me to the outside back area of the store where the drop off box and key locker was. When I did receive the truck I noticed some dents in the sides and small cracks in the windshield so I had to take pictures and update my U-hail pickup form. Then the truck was really low on gas so I had to stop to get gas. It was 1:30 before I actually got on the road and started my dayâ€¦. More than 3 1/2 hrs wasted. U-haul did give me a $45 credit for the gas but it took almost $70 to fill it up so I don't know how the credit was calculated but it was wrongStephen G.

When I went to pickup the cargo van, salesman was aggressive with his interactions with me, and rented me a van with a broken ac while on a hot day. I'm never using U-Haul againDESHAWN A.
This was the 4th U-Haul van/truck I had rented, and yes, this was outside of the original area requested, as I had once before - BUT, the difference is that at other places, they treated us like customers. This Pulaski Liquors U-Haul attendant did not. We were set up for a 10 a.m. in-person appointment and was told by the U-Haul regional office that the place opens at 10 a.m. We showed up at 10 a.m. The liquor store attendant, who was pleasant, told us the U-Haul rep was not there yet. As we waited, we called the Regional Office, so they put me on hold, checking to see why the U-Haul attendant was not there at 10 a.m. It was raining, and he told the regional office he was 10 minutes away because of the weather (it was raining) - that was 10:25 a.m. At 11 a.m. he finally arrives to then tell us that our rental was set up as 24-7, even though, I had already spoken to a rep who confirmed our rental was set up as a pick up in person, AND I had been trying from my U-Haul account to see if I could actually get the truck via the app, but I had no such code as he stated I should. He insisted that we had a 24-7 rental and told us that if we were unhappy to go somewhere else. I was at this point absolutely beside myself with this individual. After another phone call with the regional office, as he still insisted that I was set up for 24-7, that he had been doing this for a year, I walked out with my rental 1.5 hours after originally scheduled, making me late for meeting 2 people who were there to help us pack the 20' ft truck. What a nightmare of a place, and while I would rent from U-Haul again, I would NEVER recommend Pulaski Liquors as a location to rely on for your moving needs.Martha Nayeli G.

The location was much further from our home than the original location we reserved. The liquor store could do nothing to help us when we could not get the code the lockbox. There was a UHaul location less than a mile away that would have been much better. Why is this even a UHaul location when there is a fully staffed UHaul center just down the road?Armistead W.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Had my Uhaul truck set for 24/7 mobile pick up at the location at 4301 Pulaski Hwy, Highlandtown, MD 21224. Got email confirmation that everything was set up perfectly. I get there the morning of my move and am told by customer support that my truck was not made ready for mobile pickup. The reservation was made well in advance and I was not notified of this. Customer support then sends me to a second location and confirms with me on the phone that I will easily be able to access my truck for 24/7 mobile pick up at this 2nd location (6425 Pulaski Hwy Baltimore, MD 21205). I get to the 2nd location and once again unable to access my truck. I call support and they say they have no idea what I am talking about and that they should not have sent me to the 2nd location? Never using Uhaul again.Anthony C.

The online check in process was very confusing and problematic. The online check in was done prior to arriving on site, but once on site there were many issues getting the unit. The app required a lot of additional documentation, that i was not aware I would need (like a passport). This information needs to be provided upfront of what additional documentation may be provided.Jonathan R.
