Upon arriving I already had my car contract but the person at the desk woyld not help and immediately started shouting and ultimately had me late for an appointment I was renting the car for and had push back to renting for 2 days. The individual was screaming and yelling and when I was on the line with customer service for U-Haul the rep could hear the person yelling at me and she noted the account and transferred the call to a supervisor and I spoke with the supervisor briefly and my call was disconnected and I never got a call back! I spent almost two hours standing outside in the cold (location is not inside) going back and forth with the rep who said I had to get my reservation transferred to in person one form a mobile one. But I didn’t get a phone call back and someone cancelled my reservation and that’s not what I asked for! Since it was transferred the rep made a new one but the whole time he was rude and made me extremely late for my moving appointment.

BRANDON BI rented a van — there were no vans when I arrived. I asked the staff for help — he shouted at me and told me to call uhaul. Once I was on the phone w a rep at uhaul they asked to speak to him and he refused. Ultimately a uhaul rep changed my reservation to a truck. I also had paid for furniture pads which the guy at pure fuel didn’t seem to know — he didn’t know how many he had and just told me to take some from a pile. When I returned them he had nowhere for dirty ones and yelled at me until I put them back in the pile. When I got in the truck it had 1/16 of a tank of gas so I immediately had to put gas in it. The only thing good about this place is that it’s close to my house.
Frances BAbsolutely terrible experience I've used this location for years with zero problems but now that check in needs to be done with the app it is TERRIBLE it took an hour of 3 differt reps on the phone to discover that it did not work! I would have left without a truck if the wonderful person who worked there didn't help me himself. The place was crowded with others on the phonewith the office tryiong to get help.

Carmen CHonestly everything was great with the rental, except for the gas fee afterwards. I only traveled 4 miles and had to pay $76 for gas to fill it up. It seems unfair and almost as if the previous people did not fill up — so now I’m getting charged for it.
Anthony FIt was not the location's fault, but the cargo van I rented had not been dropped off yet. I waited around for a while and eventually switched to a truck, which I was not comfortable driving.

Manuel HI probably rented over 100 U-Haul's in New York City over the past 20 years and this particular truck was by far one of the worst pieces of equipment I've ever been inside of. Borderline drivable and unsafe, but I had a job to do in a schedule to stick to the brakes went to the floor and barely worked both mirrors flopped around uncontrollably lots of loud mechanical sounds driving and the rear door was extremely difficult to open and close. Additionally to this just filthy everywhere over 100,000 miles on this truck it borders on criminal to rent this to people otherwise usually happy with U-Haul take this truck off the road

Lyndzi MAt pickup I was told my reservations was not available. "We don't have any trucks" is all I was told. I asked about the trucks I was seeing and was told they were all under maintenance. I was not offered any solutions, simply, "No trucks." I went home and was on the phone for 45 minutes and repeated word-for-word my issue to 7 different people. Eventually I spoke to someone who told me to go back to the same location, which I did. There was suddenly a truck available. But not the furniture pads I paid for. The guy who worked there knew nothing and did not care to help me in any way.

Kevin MThe check engine light and low tire lights were on which made me feel unsafe. The mirrors on the truck also move around as you drive it, so I had to keep reaching out the window while driving to adjust. The truck only had 1/8th gas in it at pick up and was blocked in by another truck, both leading to me actually leaving the rental place 40 minutes after I was supposed to pick up the truck which cut into my moving timeline. I asked the man at the counter a question about if I can take the truck in a tunnel and he said he didn't know, he doesn't drive. However, overall the process was mostly straightforward and I got all of my belongings to where they needed to be.
Madeline OThis location has a few 9' vans and 10' trucks available for renting the same day. Online reservations are easy to make and the attendant is very patient and helpful, especially for first time users.

Diego AI went to pick up and unfortunately the entire system was down and I had to wait an hour to pick up. The gentleman working was very calm and kind and got things moving. However, this put a major delay on my day and negatively impacted my plans. I would like to be issued a credit for this rental.

But the guy at this location was very nice, helped us with the online check in and check out, and everything was charged exactly as we expected. The location was convenient and the truck drove just fine. We were very happy with the entire process, and would use this location again.

ROGER SOverall, not a bad experience. The person at the location was helpful but the process leaves too much for error. The online process is so drawn out that it took 30 minutes. The issues with "damages, gas meters, mileage" is never truly explained clearly. Then the other shoe drops AFTER? you've left the vehicle. No wonder people don't trust this company.

MICHAEL CThe online check in process was HORRIBLE and took us 25 mins just to check in. The site worker was nice, but the UHaul app was so slow, required multiple restarts, and delayed my move in by half an hour. I will likely not use UHaul online check in ever again.

Kamal HThis fees were BS, I was charged $10 for fuel, when I picked up the truck, it was emlty, I put $10 and got punished fot being honest when it asked how much fuel was left. Then I put 20 miles estimate, thinking I would get refunded the difference, I only drove 5 miles, so I was charged for an additional 15 miles. I feel like I was punished for trying to do the right thing.

TROTTER LYou gave me a truck covered in dirt on the inside with a tarp poorly laid over it. It had less than an eight of a tank of gas and thr tire pressure light was on. And then when I checked it in you tried to make me pay the cleaning fee. Disgusting, you scammed me

DONALD HThis location is horrible. The customer service was no help at all and barely spoke to you. I asked to rent equipment and no equipment was provided or had any substitutions. When asked for help with the return of the vehicle the rep said he’ll take care of it and I ended up with 190$ in extra charges. This was completely unacceptable and a horrible experience.

LACY SI do not own a smart phone or I-phone.I have a flip phone with only phone compacity. I was bless because the rep behind the desk was understanding and helped with my rental. Great if renting from U-haul could be done via rep or via phone....

Sophia POvercharged and won’t respond to my query as to why, terrible service, wouldn’t let me use their wifi so I could upload ID pictures as I don’t have data, so I had to come back again after going home to upload the pictures.
ETHAN LI had a pleasant experience. The online system made picking up the van easy, and there was an agent on-site to provide the blankets. The location is nothing special—just a gas station—but that didn’t bother me since I was able to get the van on time without any issues. In fact, having the location at a gas station was convenient, as I could refill the tank right before returning the van.
