I would tell someone to do it online bc. I requested the uhaul plus the $30 insurance and was charged $80! Looking at the receipt, it didn't add up. I got the smallest van, 19.99. He was sketchy. It's also a gas station. I told them same man I wanted $10 and he charged ne $30. I made him give me a refund. Sketchy service that day, but that's thebonly time I've had a problem there. So I would tell someone else to go, but pay close attention to what is happening

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe rental was easy. The attendant was VERY helpful. The rented van was available. Returning the van was just as easy, and again, the attendant at this location was very courteous and helpful.
ORLANDO RThe location was fine BUT Fix the Uhaul app, it would randomly add things to my order. It also changed my dropoff location that I selected and left me with a $280 charge for the apps error.
Louis MI had a reservation and when I got there they told me that they didn’t have a van for me. They gave me a $50 refund and said there’s a van for me at the Bushwick Ave location. I was told there also that they don’t have a van available for me. Then I called the number and they sent me to 21 gardener Avenue. At this point I’m 2 hours into my move time. I get get to the location. They charge my card and then tell me the van is actually under going maintenance. I had people waiting on me and wasn’t able to do the move that day. I call the customer service number and the girl said she was going to give me a 2nd $50 refund because I was sent to 3 different locations and still didn’t get a van. This softened the blow a bit and made me feel better. I decided I would try again with U-Haul the next day. I find out the next day after being transferred to 5 different people and getting disconnected/hung up on that it’s impossible for them to give me a 2nd refund and that girl had blatantly lied to me. I spoke to a manager about the situation and she said a general manager will reach out and help with the issue. No one ever reached out. I will never use U-Haul again.
jacob eI can't recommend this location because the mileage was recorded as far more than I drove the truck. The attendant was too busy with the gas station customers to verify mileage and gas with me when I returned the truck on 9/27 at approx 6:15 pm. The emailed receipt was not sent until 5:35 AM THE NEXT DAY. When I realized the error it was too late to go back and check the mileage with the attendant because the truck had been rented. I live in Brooklyn NY, there is No Way I drove 36! miles, no one drives 36 miles in NYC! The very most I could have driven is 15 miles.
