The WORST place I've ever rented a Uhaul from! I rented a uhaul from this location. I returned the vehicle within 1 1/2 hour!! I gave him my exact mileage and he gave me the complete amount of my purchase. Upon returning the vehicle he did not have time to check it with me. Told me my transaction was complete! Today I receive another additional charge!! No way possible. I literally went down the street and back! Also the truck was in horrible shape! I will NEVER rent at this location again! This man is a rip off!! Uhaul should be ashamed to even allow him to be a dealer with so many horrible complaints! So sad for uhaul! Moving forward I'll give my business to another truck rental company! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible service!SHARMERIA J.

The cargo area was filthy, there was no windshield washer fluid. Even after checking in with the app, the guy at the desk had a hard time finding my reservation. The location added 20 miles to my rental and was only available several hours after my initial booking time.R Salvatore T.

I would recommend if that person lived out in Meraux. I got my truck a day earlier and glad i did. I did not know that i had to pick up the truck at another location which was way out the way and 2 hrs drive. So I was not happy at all. I had to hook up a security chain and get underneath my own vehicle to hook that up. That was completely unprofessional for the employee to not do that and have the customer hook up his own car.Justin J.

this location is a convenience store. There was 1 man working when we picked the truck up and was not able to exit the store to check the truck with me . When I returned the truck, there was 1 woman working , she knew absolutely nothing, could not check the truck with me either. She just said "Leave it, if there's a problem he will call you" I went out to my car and reviewed my paperwork and had a question, so I got out of my vehicle to go back in to ask and the store was locked. I waited in the parking lot about 15 minutes , maybe a little more for her to unlock the store and address my question - to which her answer was "I don't know anything about the UHaul rentals" The experience felt uncomfortable.Kerry F.

On return of the equipment, The guy that checked me back in was very rude and disrespectful. I've never rented from Uhaul and was mistreated in such away. This isn't the way a customer who is spending their money to be handled. Before I left he was on the phone with his wife who just got in an accident, so he was upset about that but I wasn't the one who cause the accident. He should have put his personal life aside and focus on me as being a valued customer. This service at this location was horrible and this makes me not want to do busyness and tell my family and friends to tell their friends and family not to ever use Uhaul again. He was screaming saying the truck wasn't clean ad that I didn't put gas in the truck . When I have pictures it was done. He diffidently need to work on his social skills. I don't ever want someone else to have this horrific experience ever.sedra W.

Went to location to pick up truck was told that uhaul was closed and i would have to find another location and truck. Went to another location which call the area manager to tell him what happened so he called the manager of the store and told him to go there and let me get the truck we reserved. The manger was rude and non apologetic and acted as if we were interrupting him and he was not happy about being there. A few words was exchanged about his attitude and him being late and making us wait and we told him how we checked in online and he said it will take an hour for him to look things up if you keep up with your attitude. I will never go thrre again and i will never refer uhaul to my friends. Very unprofessional.Tammy C.

This store owner did not show up for me to pick up my 6'x12' trailer till 10:05am. I had a 8:15am pick up. After my delay in the pick up the owner did not even have the decency to come outside and hook up the trailer to my truck. I had to do it my self and strained my back. upon return this morning at 9:20am the owner was not there and I had to unhook the trailer by myself ...again. The entire experience was un acceptable and the support staff that I talked to on several occasions were not very much help either. I received what was supposed to be a copy of my bill. Instead I receive a sexual picture of a man having sex with a women. I have called into Uhaul and was told that upper management will be in touch with me however that was two days ago and still nothing. My 16 yr old daughter uses my accounts email and saw the picture. It is unprofessional and extremely unacceptable. I wish to speak to a Uhaul representative as soon as possible.Brandon B.

One of the straps was broken on my tow dolly. I had to use my own strap. Also the truck said it needed an oil change. Finally, this location was over 40 minutes from my house and preferred pickup. It took over an hour to get there and back.THOMAS F.

The people at the Uhaul were very nice, however it is in an AT&T store? There was no sign, and they had 2 trucks. One, the 26' truck that we had rented, did not start, so we had to take the 20' truck. The serious issue, however, comes from the fact that we reserved a truck at the St. Claude location in New Orleans, and when we got there they said my reservation had been moved to some town 30 minutes away from my home. Which was this location in Meraux. Without any phone call from Uhaul to inform me of this, I had to go to this location, where the truck wouldn't even start. Then, he tells me that I get no compensation for any of this, including the mileage fee for driving all the way from Meraux to New Orleans and back.. even after I never even got my 26' truck that I had reserved. Needless to say, if I don't get some compensation for this I will never rent with Uhaul ever again. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with this company, and I will be calling this week to discuss.RACHEL R.
