I have used U-Haul numerous times in the past, from several different locations and in different cities. This U-Haul dealer was the absolute worst dealer I have ever dealt with. It is a small ethnic convenience store that sells confectionary items and the male working there had little to no knowledge of the U-Haul rental. After he started helping me with the check-out process, he would pause his interaction to help customers with their purchase of candy, cereal, grocery items, etc. The process to get the truck took four times longer than it needed to be. When he went to get the twelve blankets that I had ordered, he could only give me four, stating that he only had four. Yet, I was charged for the full twelve, and could not offer me a discounted price for the reduced number. He also had no boxes and I was forced to go to another retail store to buy moving boxes. The truck was sandwiched in between two cars on a very busy street and almost impossible to get out. It required a person at the front and rear of the truck to guide it out, which took several minutes as the truck was only able to move a couple inches backward and forward. Here is the IRONY... there was a full U-Haul dealership only 4 blocks away that was FULLY stocked with trucks of all sizes. I had requested pickup at a U-Haul facility, however was re-directed the day before I was scheduled to pick up to this tiny, one truck convenience store. Please stop using these convenience stores as dealers. They are an absolute negative to your franchise. Never again!!!!

Randy EIt might not be related to this specific location, but in the app, I had one location, and I received an SMS with a pick-up point that was about 5 km away from the actual one. I had to pay extra for a taxi because someone messed up.

Alan HIt sucked. The truck ran like shit. Somehow in 2025 you have trucks without cruise control. I was NOT told there was a mileage limit and upon return of the truck I was. And then promptly charged an additional $180.00. Overall a pretty garbage experience.

Michael TAs a business owner, the process of renting one of your units was extremely inefficient where the original order was cancelled and a new one entered because I entered the request and sent my employee to use the vehicle. Apparently, this is not an acceptable practice. The second issue, I rented a unit from one location for a specified pick-up time of 10am and I received a call 3-4 minutes before pick-up that we needed to go to a different location to pick up the unit. Third issue, the measurement for the interior do not account for wheel wells nor the door opening. Not too impressed. My employee also had choice words of the individual processing the rental unit and they were not positive.

Derrick SThere was water in the windshield fluid which was frozen until thawed out. When I arrived, the truck was covered with snow, the man taking care of the service wiped some but not all all the snow completely which left me driving with snow on the windshield. He used his snow brush from his car because there was none in the truck and left me with nothing to wipe the remaining snow off or a brush for the day. The company over-charged me $20 over the amount I believe the fee should have been for the usage of the truck which I will be phoning Uhaul when I get a moment to find out what happened
hailey mBald tires on truck. Low air pressure warning. Waited more than 30 minutes to turn in vehicle because the "u haul guy" wasn't around. Was charged for CDW when I clearly declined it on my reservation. Call me back. I expect a refund the CDW. The truck was returned in the same state I received it, but with more gas than what it had to start with.
Gregory HDrop off point had very little space to park... all on street parking . Guy didn't want to take the return, obviously because he didn't have any room.

Marsha AThe person picking us up said what we had thought - a very unsafe part of town. Proprietor was Ok but had to call superior to explain further to us process at this point. It is too bad the question "Were the personnel helpful?" had only yes or no answer because it was somewhere in between.
nancy lWell during pickup he wasn’t there for like 5-10 minutes so we needed to wait outside in the rain…drop off was fine. My biggest issue overall was that my pickup/drop off location was changed and I was not informed even the slightest. My pickup was at 5. I called customer service at 5:33 for 20 mins. I received a text informing off the change at 5:54 which means that during my call the message was sent… then I was offered a $50 rental Guarantee which I’m pretty sure I did not recieved as he said it would be deducted at the end. But after looking at my receipt I ended up actually paying $15 more than I originally paid at pickup… this is my second time using U-Haul and my second time having issues. I will not be using U-Haul again.
