I'm a little disappointed that I returned the truck with a quarter of a tank more than needed but got charged 8.80 for extra mileage. Think that was a bit much. Also the mobile check in for pick up wasn't seamless. Had to go in to check out the truck

Arianna RTruck only had 2,000 miles on it. Drove and looked like it had 1/2 million miles on it. At least the exterior was semi clean, heat shield rattles were consistent throughout the trip. Pulled to the right when driving, pre-existing passenger side exterior damage, passenger door wouldn’t fully close, lots of wind noise. Box hadn’t been swept in a while. Don’t worry, I took care of it. I guess it was a typical u-haul experience.

MAXINE MHORRIBLE customer service inside the shop and also the uhaul support disconnected with me 6 different times . Very unprofessional service. The uhaul was fine but the service overall was poor I arrived early 4:30 ish and pick up was 5:30 didn’t leave with uhaul until almost 7pm.

Lynda WI don't think this had to do with the location, but I couldn't use the 24/7 feature like I was supposed to. I had to call and get help because location wouldn't work nor would the bar code on the front door.
Jen WI was informed before I could rent this trailer that I needed the ball on the hitch to be between 15 and 18 inched high from road surface. I have renter simular trailers before and was never told that this is a rule. I had to spend $71.99+ tax to purchase a drop hitch to transfer the ball to before I could rent the trailer. This is the condensed, and family friendly version of my encounter. NOT PLEASED with the experience.

Mike FReserving a car dolly and asks specifically what kind of hitch was needed only to get there and be told I needed a different one. Which I then go purchase right down the road. I exchanged the hitch and asked to utilize a crescent wrench to tighten the nut but was told no. To go to auto zone and borrow one. After going and buying a wrench and tightening said bolt, the same person tried to deny my rental on the grounds that the washer wasn't adequate. The same washer that came in the new hitch kit he watched me install. Eventually conceding to 'take a picture'of said washer for his records i was allowed to leave with my rented dolly. I had planned to return the dolly that evening but did not have the number needed to input in order to do so and not just the return. Therefore I paid for an additional day. Utter fucktardery.

Christopher AI was unaware of the proper ball height specification prior to arrival for pickup and had to return home for a different hitch. It would have been nice to have been told during the on-line rental process. Also, I was told that i could return the trailer after hours using the same text link that U-Haul sent me for the rental, but that link only worked to check out the trailer, not to check in the trailer. I had to load the app to return the trailer.

Judy SThis location is in my hometown and I've dropped off there a number of times. The person helping me was quick, efficient, and friendly and the location is on a main drag and easily identified. When I rent U-Haul, I always pick this location because of those factors.

Jacob SMy only complaint is that the cellphone coverage area is insufficient for using the Uhaul app. I know it is not Uhaul fault, but it gave me headaches to make the check-in/out in the app. Because of the bad coverage, I had to call Uhaul, whose representatives couldn’t hear me. Thus, I used my wife’s cellphone to make the call. I use AT&T, and my wife is T-Mobile. If you have AT&T, consider this before doing it by the app.

Kathy CI was having trouble with the app and getting it to load efficiently. The online check in would have been nicer if I knew about all the steps to getting through the check in, or if there was a way to some of those things in advance. I was there for 25 minutes fiddling with the app and it finally all went through. Check out was just a troublesome. It hung on the uploading of the pictures for over 10 minutes and I tried to see if it was my phone, which he 5G and 4 bars ATT service, so I moved down the road a bit and it errored out and said I was going to have to retake the pictures. So I rebooted my phone, just in case, and when it came back up, it was showing that I had completed the check out process. It might be a good idea to see if the locations can have an open wifi connection so there would be no doubt that it wasn't spotty service on my phone, of if it is the app not working properly. I think next time I will just go in and check in and out, usually goes much faster.

The contract service providers were polite enough but U-Haul administration sucks... I've another move in about three years will definitely find someone else...

Gerald HFirst trailer lights were not working then after hooking up the second trailer and getting cleared to leave discovered that the plates were expired. My return location claimed to never receive the trailer I returned after being informed that I was good to leave. This resulted in a 2 week headache of communicating with uhaul associates trying to locate a trailer that I already returned. Overall frustrating experience.
Edward KReduce the cost going mid west to east coast. I've never paid so much for a U-Haul in my life. And it was only 3 hours longer than the last one but 250% more expensive. Crazy
Russell HThe vehicle seemed to be in very poor mechanical shape. Extremely sluggish to accelerate and even stalled when idling once and the oil light indicator went on.
