From start to finish this experience has been the worst! No truck for me to pick up at 8am as I reserved … Had to go to 6 other locations to finally get a truck and did not get a truck until NOON! My drop off was supposed to be "LEHI UT" and that did not happen! I had to drive 22 additional mile to drop the truck off and I had it there the night before it needed to be there yet I was charged an additional 21.45! That is REDICULIOUS! For everything I went through I should have had money REFUNDED TO ME! Than when I asked for a receipt for the total charge U-Haul charged me I could not get it! A receipt for the EXTRA CHARGE I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY was sent to me over and over again! I plan on blasting U-Haul on social media and I will NEVER refer any business to U-Haul. Your company should be embarrassed to have given any customer the service I received from truck pickup to truck drop off! Also, the women in the Bluffdale rental office was EXTREMELY RUDE to me! Now I have been on hold waiting for a complete receipt for over 20 minutes! This is absolutely ridiculous!

Why don't you explain to people that rent your equipment that the gas gauge does not work like every other gas gauge. I am putting fuel in the truck and watching the gauge and it jumps from half to full after the pump stops. I just wasted $35 in putting extra fuel in the truck that was not needed. Of course the U-Haul representative didn't offer to refund me the extra amount I put in.

So I was able to get the keys to the truck and everything pretty easily. The only thing that went “wrong” of you want to call it that is that when I was picking up the truck, the app told me that an agent was working on verifying my credentials or something of that nature. I waited for a few minutes and messaged an agent through the app to see if I could take the truck while they were verifying my credentials. No one responded. I needed to get the truck to my place to start moving so I kept the app open on my phone to allow the check in to take place. I took the truck to my place to get started moving. But it took a very long time for my credentials to be reviewed. Like at least an hour. I don’t know if it was my phone connection that was causing the delay, but it wasn’t working and I needed to take the truck to move. An agent called my secondary contact later which happened to be my father and yelled at him saying that they were reporting the truck as stolen. While I understand the concern, there was an explanation as I explained above. they should have called me and not my secondary contact. Everything was resolved though so it worked out.

I object to the $20 cleaning fee charged to on my recent rental. This truck was absolutely filthy when I received it. Bugs caked on the windshield, ashes in the ash tray, filthy floors and seats. My wife and I had to wipe it down twice so we could ride in it. The originating location should pay this charge!

UHaul is a nightmare. You've managed to turn something that should be easy into a nightmare. I wasn't given good information with any call I made. Poor customer service.

There was confusion with the key, they gave me the wrong one at first. The contract they printed out and gave me did not match the one I was sent online. They could be better organized.
