Reserved truck at Blacksburg. Was sent to Radford instead, extra 30 minutes each way. Took nearly 40 minutes to track down the staff at the quality inn to get the keys to the truck. They made me haul 24 furniture blankets from the hotel lobby to the truck - no help. Furniture dolly that was reserved was unavailable. Worst experience ever with uhaul.

Customer service was horrible. And I barely drove the uhaul due to other complications. But still ended up having to pay more than the estimated amount when I drove less. And no one was there to get the key at the front desk.
Nikita FPick up was at 1030, didn't get to pick up until 11 because there was no one there. Due to the late pickup we were delayed. When I tried to call the location to let them know we were going to be late, they kept answering the phone and hanging up. I tried to change the drop off time in the app and it kept saying 'recently edited, try again in 1 hour' never gave me another option. We tried to call a customer service number, they were also unhelpful. Overall experience was just very stressful.
APRIL DExtremely rude, had to call customer service while in location, they heard management screaming at us. My equipment that I reserved was not there and they said oh well, call U-Haul. I’ve been charged $125 for a 6.5 mile round trip, 1.5 hr use of the truck to move my daughter out of her dorm apt and her stuff into a storage unit, (where I did not have the dolly’s requested) and I’m being charged $57 in gas fees when I was giving the truck with less than 1/8 of a tank. I used the truck for 6.5 miles so U-Haul made more money off of me since I then had to turn around and put gas in the truck to satisfy your 1/4 tank return when I didn’t have ven use 1/4 of a tank of gas. We’ve spoken with the area manager Ryan, he was also on the phone when we dropped off and heard how nasty and rude the location was with us. Sent him pics of the gas added and my receipt. He said he’s going to make adjustments, honestly the only adjustment I should be receiving at this point is my total amount refunded. I have never had an experience like this, have used U-Haul multiple times but can assure I will explore other options at this point if this is not correctly handled.

RAYMOND DAll of the staff was very professional. I had trouble hooking it up and the maintenance guy came and helped me out. Also, the lady at the front staff helped me out too. And when I checked out, the owner was there and was very professional. They have a huge selection at this location and it's very convenient. I highly recommend them. Dr Mike
Michael SEasy access, plenty of parking, pavement is in good shape, and it is well-lit at night. Staff member was extremely helpful and welcoming. I recommend this site over other local sites. 5 Stars!!!

VRUTANT PIt was not clear where to go as the location is both a hotel and a U-Haul location, so some signage directing where to go/start could help. I drove around the grounds looking for a U-Haul sign but there wasn't one, yet with all the U-Haul equipment around I figured I was in the right place. After circling twice, I parked at the hotel entrance and entered the hotel lobby and immediately saw U-Haul info, and folks inside noticed me right away and were very helpful.
PAUL GI had a really good experience with this location. It had a very clean and well-kept truck lot and I had no hesitation about leaving my car there while using the truck. Pick up was quick and easy, the manager was pleasant and efficient.

ROBIN FDroop off location was not manned. Never saw anyone and felt funny dropping trailer at parking lot. Very disappointed in reservation. Was told I would have to drive 40 minutes off route to drop off trailer. After insisting was given location 30 minutes away. Had requested location across street from hotel, again was not honored last minute. Will not be using U-HAUL again.
