This drop off site is part of a hotel so we had to wait for numerous hotel guests to be checked in. There was only one small woman behind the desk and her English was poor and her communication skills suffered from that. When we called the number listed the voice message said that it was a hotel, and made no mention of the Uhaul business. We kept calling and the person who finally answered the phone simply said "Hi". That was it. We still didn't know if we were connected to a Uhaul location. She didn't seem to know what she was doing. There was no-one there who could help me uncouple the trailer from my hitch. I was told at pick-up that I should not attempt to uncouple it on my own. It was just very slow, to no, service and the Uhaul customers suffered because of the hotel business. Will not be renting from Uhaul again in this area.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was charged for not returning 12 furniture pads that I never received. I requested 24 furniture pads. The clerk gave me 2 bags and said there were 12 pads in each bag. Later that night when loading, I discovered there were only 6 pads per bag. I received 12 pads instead of 24. I called U-Haul the next day to explain what happened, and they still charged me for 12 missing pads at $8 per pad when I returned the vehicle. The clerk recommended that I return the vehicle to the location where I picked it up to explain the situation...that would be in a different state. U-Haul is one company and should act like it.

EDWINGLEN DDrop off location was changed via text. When I went to the first location (2395 Tyler Rd Christiansburg VA which was a BP gas station) I spoke with the staff and was informed they did not know what to do because no one had trained them and they had just opened up the drop off business (3) days prior. I checked my Phone and found the second text telling me to go to 1501 Tyler Road. Upon arriving there the location appeared to be a vacant hotel parking lot. I used the app to do the return process and left the trailer. I would have preferred to drop the trailer off at an official U-Haul station that had U-haul employees and that was only 10 minutes from my destination. In stead I ended up 25 minutes out at a vacant hotel parking lot.
Mark NUnsafe vehicle. No staff present when vehicle was returned. Waited 30 minutes.
