For starters you could refund half of my money. I was charged almost double due to the original location not having the truck. I was sent 24 miles a completely opposite direction of my move to get the truck. So right there is an added 50 miles of charges. I wasn’t notified that the truck was not going to be available at my original location approximately 10 minutes before I was to pick it up. So that added an extra hour of my time to get there. Then to top it off not a single person there knew how to help me get the truck picked up. I spent an additional 2 hours at the location trying to work through getting it picked up so at that point it put me over 3 hours behind schedule. I work night shift, so those extra 3 hours were very critical to stay on a time line. Well, due to those additional 3 hours and having to go serve the community (I work Law Enforcement) the truck wasn’t able to be returned till I got off shift the next morning. So as you can guess, they charged me another day. So not only did I get charged for the additional miles, I got charged for a second day. I was Over charged by 100.00 and still charged for the full rental even though they “guarantee” the truck will be at the location. When I called I was told we will refund you 50.00 for the guarantee… Hell the at didn’t even cover the extra miles to pick up and drop off because the truck was so far away. My total move to pick up the truck and drop it off should have only been 40 miles to include pick up and drop off. Not the 118 miles I was charged for. So would I recommend U-Haul? Never!!!!

Easier way to check in and pick up equipment. The staff at Queens were not fully instructed on picking up the trailer.

Everything was great except there were about 6 or 7 German cockroaches when I opened the door.
