(1) Improvements can be made on phone manners. I appreciate that the local dealer helped to make the time of pickup work for us, but the tone and argumentativeness of the staff member provided me with a good opportunity to challenge my patience. An agent from Edmonton had called me after I contacted the local dealer and was emphatic that there was no way we could get a truck for the desired time, thankfully afterwards the local agent was able to work with us ... but it could have been a lot more pleasant. (2) The location for pickup is in a pretty nasty area of town, and the trucks are jammed together in their little lot which makes it interesting to navigate out of there. A lot could be done to improve the area where the trucks are stored (it's basically just a lawn with a drop off) and the exterior of the building. (3) It seemed to take a long time to complete the transaction in the store, and the promised text message so the other driver could send in their license information never arrived. (4) There was damage to the truck from previous use (cracked side mirror, visible areas of paint damage on the hood), and there was no mention of acknowledged damage on the online form. I'm not worried about the cosmetics, but it made me wonder if I would be charged for pre-existing damage later. (5) The online form is a bit confusing to use, I had paid for the truck and insurance/roadside assistance indoors and when I completed the form after it was offering me more options for insurance which made me wonder if I had insurance or not. It would be easier if there was a way in which I could have been sent a link in advance for me to complete the form and request the insurance, etc. without standing in a dicey convenience store with interesting people coming in and out from the street. Overall I would rent again from this outlet, but it took a lot more time and wrangling to make this all work than I had thought was necessary.

MELANIE GI won't recommend going to that place again if possible. The truck was SUPER dirty, smelly, and with waste food on the floor. The truck was not well maintained. The rental place had many drug addicts sitting on the stairs and smoking some weird smelly sticks and not leaving enough space to enter the store. It was a sketchy place.

Craig WI called and booked a van for 3pm. I got the confirmation.text and number. Half hour later I got another one for a different van for 630pm. I was confused so I called again. He said it was fine come at 3pm. I get there and the van I booked was not there o ly 1 other I. The parking lot. The guy was giving it to other people. I stopped him and asked and he said well it's too late. I had to gwt .ad and show him my confirmation text. He still said well it's too late they are taking it. I asked him to call his manager as I booked it and needed it. His manager made him look my booking up online and the. They gave me the truck. I was not Impressed. He should have checked the bookings before trying to give it out.

Mary CEnsure the vehicle is clean. I reserved an appliance dolly which was absolutely needed, and 6 furniture covers. we drove two hours on a Sunday to move my mother in laws house as she passed away. I called to confirm this would be ready and available a few days before we went. I get there and was told it is not available. There was no other place to rent from as they are closed on Sundays. Now I have to rent another truck and a dolly from somewhere else and make another trip in which I have to take time off work again to make this work. Had I been told when I called to confirm that the chances of having the dolly were low I would’ve been able to rent one from another place before we drove to PA. As well it should be included in booking that there is a deposit required.

She didn't do a walk around with me to check if the unit was returned in the same condition as received. She didn't even check if i returned it with the fuel level as outlined in my contact. She told me another person would be there in an hour and a half...I had no intentions of waiting that long. But it was easy access to park the unit
