I’m a truck driver and wouldn’t you know it I ran over my phone the night before I picked up the trailer from this U-Haul location .when I made it to the location to get the trailer I explained to the lady working the front counter that I ran over my the day before and it was in the shop getting repaired. I told her that the card on file was still a good card to use but that I couldn’t take pictures of the trailer or the hitch and license plate bc I didn’t have a phone she assured me it would be no problem so I left and went to take care of what I needed to get done with the trailer I had it reserved from 10am to 6pm I got done early and returned it at 2pm upon arrival there was a different person working the counter… I explained to him the same thing that I explained to the lady when I picked up the trailer he said he had no knowledge of what I was talking about… and he called the manager and told him that I didn’t have a phone and couldn’t check the trailer back in. After he hung up with the manager he assured me that it would be checked in .. the next day I received a email saying that I hadn’t returned the trailer yet. Now what got me headed is the location that I parked the trailer I literally put it in front of the store where it could be seen from the register mine you this is a gas station doubling as a U-Haul rental location. I called the location after receiving the email basically accusing me of theft and wouldn’t you know it the manager answered the phone the same manager that had no knowledge of the phone call that I watch his employees make to him explaining the situation with why I couldn’t sign it in or out.. he proceeded to say that he hasn’t seen the trailer and I stated I’m not sure how if you look out your window where the front door of the gas station is located you’ll see it parked beside the U-Haul truck and wouldn’t you know it he looked and out of nowhere he says oh I see it. You would think he would have said my fault I should’ve walked the property to see if it was here instead of accusing you of stealing so no apologies for calling me a thief. I wouldn’t refer anyone to that location and anyone who looks like me will definitely be told not to use the location. Sign angry Black Man accused of stealing

I would have preferred to go to a dedicated U-Haul location. This location was selected by U-Haul when the pick-up location I selected did not have the proper vehicle. (This was communicated to me after I made the reservation.) Renting U-Haul vehicles is not a core competency for a Quick Stop employee, so there was some confusion and delays, which caused a line to form at the checkout register. Not really the employee's fault, he was just doing his best. Still, the vehicle was not clean. There were food remnants and wrappers on the floor of the vehicle. The box part of the truck was fine. Again, I'm not faulting the employee. Renting U-Hauls is not really why he is there.

Rented a nice and clean 26 foot truck for a move from IL to MO. Had to charge the battery four separate times during the trip as the truck was fitted with a weak battery. Unfortunately I was paying two young men to assist and was out hours of labor pay. U-Haul did indicate that they would reduce my rental fee to help out. Still waiting to hear back on that. They did replace the battery at the end of our journey in the driveway of our new home.

The personnel were very helpful in making sure that the equipment was ready and assisted in hooking up the car towing equipment. There is sufficient space to maneuver the larger truck and towing equipment.

The interior of the U-Haul was dirty. There was a Burger King bag inside as well as i 32 oz empty plastic glass from 24-7 store.

No extra keys, manager did not train new employee on rental procedures and was not available next day to check in. Bought the extra policy. Trying to charge me for having someone come to open door when the keys were locked in truck. Only time needed emergency assistance.

The process of renting a u-haul from this location was far less seamless than any of the various other locations we have used over the last several years. The rep seemed unfamiliar with the procedures. He also seemed surprised when I requested the blankets we had paid for. We hooked up the u-haul ourselves, and the rep did not check the connection. About a block from the facility our trailer came off of the hitch! The entire process from entering the facility to leaving took about an hour.

I specifically called and and asked if I could drop off the truck to any uhaul location and was told multiple times that I could, yet I was charged an incorrect drop off fee due to her misinformation.

No Internet connection so they had to use my phone as a hot spot to process the transaction and that took an hour to work through the process and when I returned the trailer no one knew how to close me out. A training issue for the new employee

Your U-Haul App (Android) needs work. No matter what I tried, I couldn't "check-in". I kept getting a location error, even though app location permissions were set correctly.

On-site staff new nothing of the job almost gave me the biggest truck they had which I didn't order the truck was under a quarter tank I even took a picture but was charged for them filling it up and a fee for them having to fill it up its bull when I returned it they just took the keys n said we got it. Didn't go over anything...0 out of 5 stars

I will never rent a Uhaul from this place again. The experience was great, in fact this was probably the best Uhaul pick up I've ever had. Things were good until I was returning the truck. The owner told me the fuel was full when I was picking up the truck. I had a lot going on and I didn't look. It was my fault for not checking. The fuel wasn't on full, it was between half and 3/4. If you look at Contract Number 78223762 you will see I used the vehicle for a total of EIGHT miles and I got charged for EIGHT gallons of fuel. That's after I talked to the owner and I put 3 gallons of fuel in thinking that would square it. Absolutely total bullshit.
