I had to leave my truck at this location while I used the U-Haul. I was told to park my truck in the back so I hid it next to a dumpster. Came back to find that it had been rifled through. All my stuff was tossed around. I’m not sure if anything was taken yet. I have been so tired from moving today, I will have to check tomorrow. I felt unsafe at this location. Otherwise, staff was nice.

I ended up using the truck for a few extra hours than I expected. By the time I was ready to return the truck, the drop off location was closed. They did not inform me how to go about returning the truck after hours. They did inform me that it would cost more to drop off the truck at a different location, but as I was unable to get in contact with the original pickup/drop off location by the time I was done, I decided to return it to a different location that was still open, very close to the original location. My intention has been to remedy this situation to have the truck returned to the proper location and have my $288 fee reimbursed for this mishap. I have spoken to 3 different people in customer service. Helen was very kind- she gave me the email addresses of the field managers of both locations (pick up and drop off). Takia submitted a dispute for me later that evening, which I was very grateful for. The next morning, Sonia confirmed that one of the field managers closed the dispute without ever contacting me or responding to my email inquiry. Sonia then connected me with one of the managers who spoke very rudely to me on the phone. He said that it's too late and that reimbursing me for trying to return the truck to the right location is outside of their policy, but that he would contact the other manager of the original pick up location to see if he would be willing to work with me...he never got back to me. This is the worst moving experience I have ever had. I can't afford to spend over $400 to move a truck less than 20 miles away. I am more than willing to go pick up the truck and take it to the right location, pay for the gas, and the fee for the extra hours I had the truck. I don't understand why I am being told it's impossible to reimburse me for the $288 fee- if my card was charged, it can be reversed. I will do anything I can to help remedy this situation. I will personally move the vehicle and fill up the gas tank. I am willing to be flexible, but it doesn't seem like this company is willing to do the same. I need someone to please call me with a solution. I have tried to contact everyone I can, but this is becoming more difficult than is necessary. Costumer service is a little deficient, the girl didn't ask me if I wanted to add insurance and she included it in my bill, which she never print it out, I ask the owner and he said the printer was working just fine, it is just the girl doesn't have good skills with costumer service. That's the only reason I don't give you 5 stars.

Went to pick up a U-Haul at this location. The lady at the front desk was no help at all. Then got into the truck that had more miles than it stated on the paper. I took a picture and everything to prove it. They send you through a company called Traffic which was no help and still waiting on my refund . It was 20 miles more than what it stated. But Julio was very helpful of them all.

I thought the man was being helpful to show me how to get my furniture out of my apt with using a blanket, and not to add a blanket that was 10 Freaking dollars that I didn’t ask for nor did I even use it. I’m so pissed and they double charged me for gas never going back here!!!

The check engine light was on in the uhaul truck. We put more gas than we used, back in the truck, and they still hit my card for gas money, we had to go to corporate for a refund. Close the Balch Springs location down

This location works ℹ conjunction with The Dispatch worker Brandy who was Very Passive Aggressive and who was just concerned about her agenda and not Concerned about understanding or listening to what the Customer might be having a problem with on their end. Just asking a Question like Mr. / or Mrs Customer How do you Spell your Name or What is your Phone Number. Would have helped her Located my Problem. And then she would have Realized that what she Text or Email went out to some Nonsense Customer out into the Air somewhere. Belinda Thomas at Your Office once She Was Contacted by Roxanne was Extremely Helpful. Belinda Thank you 🙏 So much for Your Outstanding Customer Support! Again, U—Haul you got it Right with Belinda Thomas She’s a Diamond take Care of her She Took Care of Me! See I had to Take a 5 hr ride from San Antonio to Allen Texas then go to Bach Springs drop off Furniture then drop off U- Haul Truck. Drive Back to San Antonio! 5hr ride. Home . Now get this Just To Return to your office on Saturday another 5hr Ride from San Antonio Following up on Closing Contract to be Spoken to Like a Fool By A Dispatcher Named Brandy! No ! She needs to understand that there is another way to speak 🗣️ and Communicate to Gods people! But then that’s another subject completely. Thank for reading this Complaint!

I am highly upset. I notice the cab was dirty at pickup and once we made it the storage my couches were damaged due to the sticky substance from the truck and build up of dirt. I’m very upset n demand a refund. I have pictures

The location was a convenient store and dogs were inside. Reserved the big truck and the seatbelts didn’t work. Offered me the smallest truck right after being dropped off and it wasn’t cleaned or completely checked. The gas was almost on E and the check engine light was on. I put 50 miles because I reserved the big trip but since I was given the smaller truck I had to make 2 trips and went 40 miles over. Not a good location and service is horrible.

The mileage was not accurate on paper as to what it actually was. But more importantly, I had a reservation for Saturday morning but I couldn't get it due to the system being down. I asked the lady to redo my reservation for Sunday morning which she did. "But" I was charged double what I was quoted on Saturday. If you actually read this call me, 214-641-6498. I should've taken the advice from the google reviews of this location. Several people rated this location poorly and now I know why. I only had the rental for a few hours and when I returned it to this location the clerk was very dismissive. Good thing I took a picture of the mileage and fuel levels because many people mentioned they were over charged for fuel or mileage. I returned the truck on a Sunday and Monday I received a call from the location where I picked up the rental and they were looking for the truck because it was showing not returned yet. Then On Thursday I received another call again looking for the truck and a few minutes later my credit card was charged for 3 extra days. This location lacks honesty and ethic. I won't use the Balch Springs location ever again.

This location is trashy! Not very helpful at all. Did not go over the agreement with us. All he did was take my license, card number, then said here's the key. He had another guy point out the truck number. Did not walk me to the truck, which was parked in a very muddy area, and was parallel parked extremely close to the other trucks. It was extremely difficult to get it out of the area. Got mud all over my walking boot and inside of the cab just from getting up in the truck. Do not recommend this place at all! Last place we reserved a truck with was way better and will be the one we use in the future even though it's further.
