My experience at the Millsboro location was very bad I will never go back to that location the guy who I interacted with was very rude, he canceled my first reservation and when I tried asking him why it was canceled he had no explanation for me. He speak to me like I was scum I guess because of my skin color, I am so disappointed I will never recommend that location to anyone. Someone needs to teach him some manners.LaVerne O.

We were allowed 5 days rental time and were charged an extra day this morning. There were Uhaul delays in leaving the Uhaul location in Naples and then unhitching delays in Millsboro DE (had to unhitch ourselves, take pictures, upload and check out ourselves) so in reality, we were timely. Gruff attendant, although he was busy and helpful hitching the trailer. there were 2 surprises: 1. They changed the pick up location on me - it was farther away (on the other side of Indian river bay) from where I live; 2. I had rented a 5x8 a full 8 days in advance, but was but was upgraded to a 6x12 the day before pickup. While it all worked out, I had a lot more trailer than I needed and it was a long haul to Columbia SC (10 hour trip).Stephen C.
I rented the equipment in a location close by my house the. They call me and give me a new location of 1 hour 30 minutes away from the original place. The lady on the phone said that there was not equipment available close by, when I was driving back close to my house was another u haul location and they have tons of equipment available, I stop by and ask if was available equipment for rent they told me yes.Marvyn M.

Location not bad. UHaul's 24/7 app failed. I am very unhappy with Uhauls customer service and I want still waiting on a call to remedy the situation. Not only did U-Haul switch the location of what I requested, the app failed to work and delayed the move of my house. I expect a call from U-Haul to remedy this and to remove some cost off of the bill. I will not recommend U-Haul to others nor use U-Haul myself based off this experience.RYAN T.

I have used U-Haul numerous times and for the most part locations are really good and some not so good by with great service. This location is the WORST I have had to deal with. Gentleman there, wearing a U-Haul shirt and moving trucks around wearing NO mask. Not only that but had no sense of customer service. I had chosen online pick up since I was told they were closed at 8am but they clearly were open. As I walked towards the lockbox, this guy walks by me, ignoring me when I said Good morning, walks by me like I'm not there. Since I was having connection issues, I asked him for help as he was walking away and his response was â€œthere is nothing I can do since you chose to do it onlineâ€' this said in a very dismissive and rude way as he walked away and left me there hanging. If you can, make sure you don't choose this location for pick up. It's because people like this that good companies like U-Haul sometimes get a bad rep.Sebastian R.

Let me qualify why I'm giving the pick up location an average rating. The place was fine however the reason it was rated average is because the office was small (as in probably 12'x10') and the guy working there was not wearing a mask, there appeared to be no care taken to ensure my safety at all. There was no hand sanitizer and I was given a pen off the desk to sign the forms with. We are in the middle of an international pandemic and it appeared as though this place was unaware of it. Otherwise the truck was fine except of what appeared to be a decent amount of short, stiff dog hair under the center seat. The truck ran fine with no issues. I would suggest better safety measures for customers at the pick up point.James B.

This location was great I did call your toll free number to start the rental and that experience was the worst. I was told three time that I had what I want and could pick it up. Not true and I paid upfront once and now I have to wait a week to get my money back. You should call me I have more to say but I'm not going to waste more timeScott C.

Have trucks available that were reserved. We had to make trips due to the only size available which wasn't fair considering we had a large one reserved! And then got charged for the extra miles and time it took. We were very inconvenienced.DANIEL B.
I ordered (and presumably paid for) a furniture dolly, appliance dolly, and moving blankets. Upon pick up of the truck, I was informed none of those items were available. Imagine moving a three-bedroom home with no dollys. There was no offer of an apology or a solution presented. Just a very matter-of-fact "we don't have those things for you."Jason B.

Had to drive 3hours one way to pick up trailer. I ordered the trailer with one week notice only to find out the day before pick up was in DEL and we were in Ocean City NJ. Very bad set up. I was moving so I was stuck and needed the trailer. Hopefully will not need your services in the near future. Don't blame covid its just an excuse.ANDREW W.

This has nothing to do with the location, only to U Haul. I made my reservation 3 weeks prior to pickup. I called U haul 2 days prior, to check on my rental, that was pre paid. I was told the truck and transport were in separate locations 30 miles apart. Thank you, U haul for no customer service! The equipment pickup took 2 hours out of my schedule.PHILIP B.

The male human who worked in the trailer when we picked up the truck had an awful attitude. With a condescending tone of voice and abrasive personality, his rudeness was unparalleled. The best part of our experience was when our need to interact with him was over and we could get in the truck and drive far away from him.Evan S.
