Truck was dirty, had not been cleaned or had the cleanliness checked by staff. The website gave errors when picking up the truck. It took two hours to complete the pick up process.

I’d recommend with reservations. The office manager was great with responding to calls, but I would call in advance if you’re planning on arriving later and make sure to select self-pickup if it’s after office hours. Wasn’t familiar with the app system (which is easy), but Wi-Fi and data aren’t super great in this area, so just make sure you do that in advance of arriving in case it doesn’t save.

Dealer put the trailer on my hitch too low for safety. I had to reset the trailer later. Would have hit the ground on aprons and dips in the road

The front cab was not cleaned. When pointed out to the Uhaul employee she checked off “ no new damage”. Again it was referred to but not cleaned. There was dog slobber on the windshield and a dog bed was under the passenger seat. Cigarette ashes about the cab. We reported it to Kelley at our drop off in Norristown Pa.

You should make it a company policy to make your trucks non smoking like the car rental people do. If you are not a smoker it is disgusting to have to sit in a closed small cab and breath in what smells like a dirty ash tray.

no one was there on Sunday. Would have been helpful to have a sign posted saying to drop keys in door slot. a nice young lady who lived in apartment was fortunately coming out of her apartment and told me to put keys in door slot. A sign would have helped.

Online they stated that they opened at 8:30 ... we drive 20 minutes to only see on the sign it is not open til 10:00 ... only to have to drive back home and go back at 10:00 ... very unprofessional. They never did a walk around and had husband unhook trailer.

When I picked up the truck I was told I had 159 miles and any additional was $0.40, but when I dropped off the truck, I was told that I had 178 miles, which would've helped me when utilizing the truck during my long distance move.

I was disappointed U-HAUL RESERVATION OFFICE did not inform me where the pickup location of the U HAL Truck . I had to keep calling and was not getting an answer. I was told the day before the pickup day I would be notified, text or phone call but I was not called or notified.



It would have been nice if the people at the pick up could have unhooked the trailer from my car and moved it to the location they wanted, instead of making me do it while they fiddled with their computer.

Picked up truck with 7/8 full. Used the gallon estimator to fill to the same level for the return. Instead of 7/8 full, I returned with a full tank. Annoyed that the fuel estimator seems to be stacked against the customer.

I was called by the location manager 2 days prior to let me know that the specific truck that I planned to rent was to be dropped off that morning and I was assured that if for any reason that the truck wouldn’t be available, I would be contacted with an alternate location to pick up the truck. I arrived to the facility at the agreed upon time and date to pick up the truck and the manager greeted me with “oh, the person who was supposed to drop off the truck didn’t drop it off here and I’ve tried to contact uhaul 4 times and they haven’t responded so I don’t know what to tell you to do”. My family had just driven 3 hours to help me move, and I had to be out that day. It was a Saturday on Easter weekend so I had absolutely no other option but to take a smaller truck than the truck I reserved. As a result I ended up having to throw away my brand new mattress and box spring because it wouldn’t fit in the smaller uhaul as well as several other miscellaneous things because I had no choice, I had to have everything out of my house that day and moved to Virginia, 3 hours away. I was very disappointed that I wasn’t notified by the manager that morning that the truck wasn’t available so I could have made other arrangements instead of telling me that afternoon when I arrived to pick it up. Her only response was that it was uhaul’s job to notify me and that uhaul did not respond to her. She had my phone number, because she called me 2 days prior so I don’t understand why she couldn’t have given me a heads up herself that morning. I am a travel nurse, so I move frequently and this is the second time in a row that I’ve used uhaul and both times I’ve had terrible experiences. I unfortunately will never use uhaul again nor will I recommend this company to anyone else.

The agent is always very knowledgeable, respectful, cheery, and most of all, attentive to your moving needs. I rarely spend more than 5 minutes getting checked out, and picking up my rental is very expedient. This particular location os, by far, the best; and as a former military member, I have used U-Haul since 1977!
