Once again U-Haul has left me high and dry, ruining my move. A thousand dollar in damage to my car and I wasn't even able to move it because it was the wrong dolly. No records of the proper one I rented only three months ago? Seems every time I use U-Haul it's a disaster, I show up and they lose the reservation, or the equipment isn't there - whatever.kevin F.

They didn't clean the uhaul at all. Also I was never told I couldn't return after hours at this establishment and wasted extra gas because I had to turn around and drive all the way home. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had dealing with customer service and I'll most likely avoid using uhaul in the future if I can.christopher S.

I rented a trailer and rep. didn't even come out and help hook up trailer and make sure everything worked. The wiring for the lights on the trailer was only approximately 2 inches long. Fortunately, we had our own extension. The rental was for 24 hours. We return at exactly 24 hrs and they we're closed. Had to go to another location where, again, there was nobody there.Lori W.

Was over charged for mileage and was told to return truck to location I rented from even though they would be closed. Was told to leave truck unlocked and park in front of building with keys under seat. Got to the building an hour after they closed and front gates were locked. I worried about leaving truck parked outside facility on street because of theft or possibility of it getting towed so had to drive to another location to drop the uhaul off.ashley J.

Drop off is extremely confusing. There was no way of entering the facility to park the truck. My rental was due to drop off at 5 pm and the place closed at 4 pm and locked all the gates. I parked the truck by the entrance and followed the check-in steps. Then when I needed to turn in the keys there was no key drop off box available to drop them into. I called the business afew times with no answer hoping maybe someone was in there and nothing.Eric W.
The place I reserved my trailer was the 4th Ave Yuma, Az store. That place is a nightmare. First they wanted me to go an hour and half out of my way to pick up a trailer that I reserved a week in advance. Then Uhaul charged me the day I reserved it and then I was charged AGAIN when I picked it up. I wasn't credited 50.00 like they said because they didn't meet my reservation. Then when I dropped it off, the trailer wasn't even in my name.Matthew F.

The guy made me find the trailer on my own, back it up and install ALL ON MY OWN. Literally told me to install it myself. Did not assist with the hooking up of the trailer to my vehicle. Didn't even leave the office. I'm just glad my wife didn't go pick up the trailer. From a risk management standpoint, this is as poor as it gets. Uhaul should do a better job with QC at franchisee locations. I just hope this location is not sending more people out on the road without assisting them.Chad W.

As it was our first time renting the auto trailer, the gentleman that checked us out in Yuma was very patient and helpful to explain to us how to attach and set up the vehicle on the auto tow with a Uhaul truck and to make sure we check it every once in a while during travel. It would be more helpful for Uhaul to have a video of the full size auto tow rental being hooked up to another vehicle and/or another Uhaul truck. I watched the videos sent to me when our order was confirmed, but it showed a basic car (convertible) hooking up to a small open flat bed transport/storage attachment.Heather E.

This is a car dealership not a uhaul place they had three working on sales and took while for help with uhaul. Some reason charged more with no explanation Once given paperwork they let you go find it and figure it all out on own.Daniel Z.
I need a knee replacement and merely requested help for unhooking the trailer safety chains underneat my vehicle which was clearly and categoricaly denied so I had to do it myself and even park the trailer as demanded by the manager. Extremely poor service with not an ounce of compassion and certainly not helpful. I will never recomment this location to anyone. This situation is deplorable as I enjoy U-Haul as my record can show.Pierre H.

Bad experience. First time that I had to disengage the TOW Dolly from truck. Whenever I drop off a Tow dolly is the U-Haul staffs who disengage it from my vehicle. Summer in Yuma, AZ is brutal. the Tow Dolly was super hot from the summer heat and I did not have any glove so I burned my hands. These people are more worry about the used car dealer that thy run on the same lot that the U-HAUL's customers. I wont be doing more business with this particular store. Glad the are more U-HAUL locations in Yuma, so I dont have to deal with then again.Jorge M.
I am a 71 year old man. I asked for help with the hook up and they declined to do anything to help me. The man that filled out the computer form didn't even leave his desk. I had to go find my unit and hook it up. A dual axle trailer is hard to lift onto the ball but I did it after some struggle (in 110 degree heat). I'm never coming back!Nancy H.

Staff was polite enough when getting the paperwork taken care of but when it was time to hook up the car trailer I reserved they were no help. They just told me to go to the back and hook up the trailer myself. They didn't even offer to help me back my SUV up to the trailer. Thankfully I knew how to do the job but every other UHaul place I've been to has handled the hook-up themselves. It didn't help that the trailer was missing some needed bits like the pigtail for the trailer lights, which I had to scrounge from one of the other auto trailers. Definitely was not happy to have to do this all by myself in 110 degree heat.Oliver S.

We are renting a 26 ft truck on the 27 th of sept ! I would prefer not to deal with this awful agent! Please have our pick up at pack rats on foothills blvd! We rented there before in July and that was where we had asked to pick up and everything was good! If you want to hear more about our very terrible experience please call me @ 702 -306-3639 . This location was awesome, even though the uhaul employee that does the service was on his day off! Thankfully there was one individual there that day that was able to do it. As for the main call centre that sent us to this location cause the location that we did book this trailer at was no longer available and the call center does not have a clue on work schedules of where there uhauls sit. So please revise your call center training so that customers do not have to sit for over an hour trying to get what they rented.RYAN U.

Drop off center only. The kid behind the desk could not find my information and needed to call district manager despite me having forms available. He was unaware I had rented a dolly, clearly on receipt. I needed to unload and push trailer next to the gate by myself because he refused to help. I am 60 years old!!!
