Staff was rude and untrained. Unwilling to help with any questions and didn’t have the equipment I reserved. When I asked about the missing dolly, the clerk said, “I don’t know.” That’s all. I don’t know? WTF??????? Will never rent from this location again. Ever. NEVER!!!!!

We were at U-Hual trying to get the truck and equipment that had been previously reserved from 9am until 6pm. There was not a in person we could speak to, everything had to be done Mobil. Worse experience ever! I am still waiting on a $390 refund because we went from 10 ft truck to a larger one. I will never use U-Haul again.

Create some clear location and lock box identification at this site. If it wasn't for the people inside the convenience store, we probably would not have been able to get the truck. First, when I reserved the truck on the website it did not clearly indicate that 24/7 was the only way to get the truck, and there were no onsite personnel to check in and out with - have to use 24/7. The lock boxes did not work easily or at all, instructions were pitiful, had to ask where the lockboxes were (app said behind the fence - what fence, where, this is a big facility/truck stop). Overall, the pick up experience was bad but saved by the folks in the convenience store. Truck inside the box was dirty, outside dirty, inside cab ok. Truck worked fine, return was fine. I recommend only to the savvy UHaul renter who is comfortable with 24/7 pickup/dropoff

When I was looking to rent a U-Haul it said on the app that this location you choose to pick up “in person” at the location or rent it thru the app. I choose to pick up and speak to someone in person and when I got there I had to download the app and checkout thru the app, not thru them. It took forever to get this completed because they couldn’t do it at first even though they did show my reservation online. But once we got all that figured out, it all got worked out, but I still had to checkout thru the app and not at that location. And then when the rental was returned to the second location (it was a one way rental), I was told I would be charged an additional $30 because I exceeded the mileage limit, which NO ONE at the location where I picked it up was told to me. So that was a surprise to be charged an additional amount. And I don’t understand why there was a mileage limit, if it was a one way rental and the truck was filled back up like it was when I initially picked it up. The truck itself was clean and maintained. I just had these two issues/complaints.

The truck inside the cab was filthy, smelled like cigarettes and the windshield was extremely dirty inside, the wipers didn't work very well in the rain I think it needs new wiper blades. These trucks should be cleaned before renting them out.

Only 1 employee was working at the travel center where I picked up the trailer. I had to hitch up the trailer by myself which was very difficult to lift onto my hitch. The employee then could not get logged into U-Haul website, and while having to wait on gas station and store customers, the process took extremely long time. I will never go back to this location.

Daniel’s auto , which was my first reservation was not there and I was told they would be there an hour after my reservation. This made my moving process hard. The second location everything was excellent

Pickup was in an 18 wheeler graveled truck parking area. I returned during the day, but would have been too scared to return if it had been dark. The truck probably needs servicing. It had no suspension and made loud noises for several seconds after it was turned off. Regarding the overall experience with UHaul, I could not have been more disappointed. I had reserved a 15 foot truck at Greensboro GA only to learn the morning of my reservation that I had been moved to Eatonton with a 20 foot truck. When I arrrived it Eatonton, the site was in the middle of nowhere and was a junkyard with no one onsite. When I tried to check in on the app, I couldn’t. When I called the telephone number listed for problems with my reservation, no one picked up. I then started calling the UHaul master line and was transferred many times. It was finally discovered that the owner of the lot had not set the boxes for 24/7 pickup, and that my reservation was being cancelled. I only had the one day to get my son moved out of college, so I finally had to take the only truck that could be found for me which was 26 foot. I am a 5’3” small woman and I was scared to death to drive something that large over 100 miles, but I had no option. I then traveled another 20 minutes to finally get the 26 foot truck. I was over an hour and half delayed getting started and suffering from significant anxiety all that could have been avoided if my initial reservation would have been honored.

I was disappointed about the time change on the my reservation within less than 24 hours of me confirming with my movers about their schedules and had to get a lesser size truck. Can’t recommend

Employee did not use the confirmation where drop off was selected and had us taking the trailer back to the wrong location!!! 3 hours later and 6 different UHaul people we finally got it changed to where we originally selected. The phone recording say S you can make changes through the app, absolutely incorrect

My only complaint is really that team members at the location refer customers to your website and/or app (UHaul), but they cant/dont provide any support for that process. In my opinion, there is a customer service disconnect in this new model. I prefer the old model where humans help humans.

Lady at counter was nice, but she was overwhelmed! Checking people out and in. Need more personnel. Overall, pleased with my u-haul rental. Only thing I didn’t like, I was told any mikes over my allotted miles, would be a charge of 40 cent per mile. When I got my bill, it was for $1 per mile!

the manager, Angela, refused to help with the trailer. She said it was not their responsibility. She was rude and refused to find alternatives. I called uhaul and then she helped. will never use this location again.

My experience was horrible but not due to this location. It was due to the uhaul reservation app. I went to pick up my trailer at another location and it had already been rented out!!!!had to spend time trying to find a other place and drove out of my way to get it here.

The pickup experience was the worst I have ever experienced, I reserved a 26 ft truck weeks before I needed it, the day before pickup, I get an email stating my 20 ft truck is ready for pickup. The day of pickup, the website and app would not work, I called uhaul and was on the phone for 3 hours with a super lady that walked me thru the checkout and corrected any flaws on the way. However, the keys for the 20 ft truck were not in any of the lock boxes and I ended up with a 15 ft truck to move a 4 bedroom home in 1 day. After drop off, Eatonton, GA area manager Alvin Hayes saw the situation and at least made it acceptable.

The person in charge of the U-Haul rental's was not present at the time I picked up the equipment or when I returned it. The staff working at the Travel Center assisted me but was unclear on what needed to be done to complete the rental but did make an effort. Even though I returned the trailer on time I was charged an additional day of rental. If this location is going to continue renting equipment they need to ensure staff is present during operational hours.

The people at the service center were friendly and somewhat efficient, but none of the cargo trailers had tongue jacks and you are completely on your own hooking up the trailer. There were no wheel chocks for the trailer tires. I had to use my own truck jack to jack up the tongue and ask for help from a trucker getting gas to get the the tongue actually on the hitch ball. I had a 6 x 12 cargo trailer which was too heavy to lift by myself. One of the fenders was damaged and close to scraping the tire. Two of the tires were new, but the other two were pretty worn. I would not recommend this location for the reason stated above. Next time I will drive to Macon to a full service U-Haul location.

trailer was damaged .had to take a smaller inclosed trailer and had to leave stuff behind. drop off was at different location and was 20 more miles further away. need to reserved one next month and would like a discount.

Good morning everyone, regarding the delivery, yes it was ready but regarding the operation of the lights, they worked at the time of pick up, yes it was working but on the road at night it had a false short circuit which can be resolved, I suggest you replace the cable before to rent this trailer again. In general everything else was excellent

I had to wait since only one person could do the transaction. The young lady was nice. The open trailer had not been swept out. We had to go and hook up the trailer with no instruction or supervision (we have done this before so not a big deal for us). We did a safety check before the rep came out to look. She did not verify any safety checks, she just took pictures and sent us on our way.

Overall a easy pick up and the attendant was very efficient. The trailer assigned had a damaged hitch that would not lock. It had not been checked out in advance. I was told to select another trailer and she edited my contract and we were non our way.

Please shut down Daniel’s Auto Repair as a U-Haul location in Eatonton and reroute all vehicles to Rana’s. For one, it’s staffed 24/7. Two, it’s clean. The Daniel’s location is dirty the lock box is full of bugs and not accessible. I wasn’t able to get the vehicle I need and had 45 mins of my time wasted before being rerouted to this location.

Overcharged us for rental and charged us for gas incorrectly. When we received our bill, we went back to get his corrected and we were told because the bill was finalized, there was nothing they could do we would have to call U-Haul Customer Service. We called three times to let them know we would be returning the rental late and we were told by Tracy that we had until 3:00 pm to return the truck at no charge. We were charged $40.00 for an additional day and $60.00 for gas because the cashier put the fuel level at 1/8 tank but we have a picture showing it was 1/4 tank which is where it was when we rented the truck. We called customer service and the Agent "Marietta" put in a claim and said we would have to wait for "Alvin" the Area Manager to call us back to fix this issue.

The employee was nice however did not personally check my mileage. Luckily I took a photo of the odometer, with date stamp, because I’ve now been charged 100 miles over what I used!! I turned the truck in before 5pm July 2nd when it wasn’t due until 10 am July 3rd. I submitted a claim and am still waiting for U-Haul to credit me $100

I got charged for extra miles somehow. Unless I was moving to the travel center I don’t see how I could have used fewer miles. I’m going to do all I can not to use uhaul again.

Here’s the rub. I had a different location for drop off in my contract. When I went to return the truck, we were told that UHaul cancelled his location 3 days earlier. And uHaul then gave us the different location at Sara Lee that was MUCH FURTHER AWAY. Took us an extra hour. Never would’ve rented from UHaul if we had known we had to drop off at Sara Lee because that was totally inconvenient. UHaul should not bait and switch on drop off locations.

Rena's Travel Center personnel was great. However, the equipment was not well maintained. My initial truck had an exhaust problem and the second one had a check engine light. The whole time i was wondering if i could reach my destination. NERVOUS THE WHOLE TIME

I'd recommend this place only if you need a bigger truck because they have plenty. Otherwise, go elsewhere. Truck was full of dried mud. I paid for 24 blanket pads and they only had 11, and 2 of those were wet.

The uhaul SUCKED ass!!! It was so LOUD it woke the whole street! Not to mention I felt ROBBED when I had to pay because there’s no way I drove over 100 miles when my house and the storage is 7 miles apart! And on top of that I was charged $115 for not replacing $20 worth of gas! I’ll carry my belongings on my back before I use Uhaul again!!
