Inside of cab had water on the driverside step. Left front tire was indicating low air. I had to find a station to fill the tire before I could use the vehicle in the Smoky Mountains.

Billy WThis was a self check-in at a neighborhood location that is not open for other business on weekends. Therefore, there were no personnel present to be helpful or not. It was a very convenient location for me, and the parking lot was adequate for trailer navigation and parking. I did have a rather difficult time with the online self check-in process. The self check-in online software is rather complex, with transmission of photographs etc., so it requires a good mobile internet connection which this location did not have. Finally I called customer service and Sandy was able to confirm that the trailer was returned successfully. What you can do to improve is include an obvious link in the U-Haul website or app for an alternate method of self check-in at unattended locations.
STEPHEN LTruck picked up with only half tank of gas. Rear hatch was extremely difficult to open/close due to problem with cables. Female part of seatbelt buckle seemed damaged. Air conditioning did not work well at all.

Jeff RThe front desk told me that it didn’t matter that I turned my UHaul in a day early. I was charged an extra $22 because of the mileage going over. I have rented many UHauls and I have turned them in on the same day and was reimbursed for 3 days since I only used it for 4 hours. Not sure why this happened with this Uhaul but I am not satisfied.
Holley MI had a really hard time with the app. I struggled with it for around 45 mins starting the process over numerous times. When I finally called the help number she told me not to use the app. She said to use your website. The website was better only because I was able to finally get the key. Same issues when I returned the truck. VERY frustrating and disappointing. All told the check in/check out process cost me about 1-1/2 hours.

MARK BPick up was great. The drop off was awful. I dropped off i 2200 Hiway 19 S, Bryson City, NC. Pick up advised me to take pictures of the vehicle. I did take pictures. The cab was dirty, which I had video of.. I was charged $107 dollars at drop off, because it was "dirty". We shared pictures and video, but the woman said I did not dispute on app. I checked in in person, I am not that tech savy. I did not receive dispute app. Thus woman just ripped me off, which , am sure she does to about everyone she thinks is moving in from a distance. However I live in the area. I moved my son and his wife home. She was hateful and arrogant, and I am sure she is damaging Uhaul's reputation.

I said okay thanks I'll call when I'm ready she said let's get you reversed now we can work with you if you need to change pick up date or time , I said I didn't have my credit card handy she said no problem just bring it with you when you come for the AT. upon my rental return I was pleased to watch and listen to her work with another customer on reservation set up . Center trainer material!!
Malvin SMaybe have a guest Wi-Fi available to use the app. I could not use the app because signal is bad in Bryson City. If there was a guest Wi-Fi available in could make for an easier connection and a better experience.

Reginald RI dropped off my truck after sweeping it out and when I returned home, I saw they charged me $25 for a cleaning fee. This is BS. The truck was clean. I would not recommend using this drop off location to anyone.
