Approval should be done prior to pick up. The process should begin at the time of reservation. This causes unexpected delays. Also- it would be very helpful to have a human assisting with the pick up/drop off for confirming quality of the van. Also- I should not have to return it with a full tank if it is over half a tankâ€” I pay by mileage already. I had an additional $20 to put into the tank.Logan S.
I asked for 48 hours and 850 miles from 3 people. Two on the phone, and 1 in person. all of them kept shorting my hours, 24, then 36, then OK sir, 48 hours. I return it ON TIME, and they said I returned it late. I have the photos of the miles and times. Very annoying that I was overcharged. It felt like dealing with an insurace claim or something. Fighting me and not listening to what I asked for at every turn. Sure, people only use U-Haul once every 5 years or so, but that does not give people the license to try and be shifty and nickle and dime. I was very disappointed in the service from all 3 people (2 on phone, 1 in person). The equipment is fine, the service was terrible.JAMES ALLEN K.
I ran into a setback in my side and the location was willing to work with me, they went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and on my way. Staff was exceptional. Kind, knowledgeable and professional. The facility is crowded and difficult to maneuver. Also had trouble locating it since it was not an obvious Uhaul facility. Staff mitigated the maneuvering challenge and said â€Just leave it there and I'll take care of itâ€. And he did.JEFFREY G.

Starting with the pick up location. Clean and good location. Quick service but maybe too quick. It should be policy for the U-Haul brand and each check in rep to review the contract and touch on key policy in the contract like charges. We were charged a service fee of $30.00 to refuel the gas. Unacceptable. Had I known there would be a charge I would have done it myself. Very disappointed. Drop off location was a small garage with a packed parking lot of cars. The personnel was uninviting it appeared that he didn't want to be there and didn't want to be bothered. Again never asked about gas or mentioned a service fee being applied if gas was not at a certain level upon return. Not impressed. Would like to get a refund of the service fee.Michael B.

never again will i use your 800 uhaul strong request made about pick-up location so u send me 9 miles to a shit hole thrid party, who i wouldn't even send my worst enemy tryed to sell me extra product's i didn't ask for didn't know how to recredit acct had to call another person to help him.George S.

I'm not sure this is a good location for a UHaul business. It's a small, old, auto repair shop. The person was friendly, but the building is dirty, old, uninviting. UHaul is a sideline for them, not a focus.STEPHEN C.
Not very friendly or helpful. Don't think he said two words and gave no instruction or helpful hints. If I hadnt' rented one before I would have been lost. Not a very pleasing environment, dirty and small. Its actually just a service station.MICHAEL O.
