The vehicle had mud all over it, inside and out. There was water in the arm rest. The drivers mirror assembly was hanging down, was unable to use mirror to its full potential. Took it anyway, because it was the only thing on the lot, and I needed it in a hurry.

Even though the manager himself, Nick, has so far been understanding and I am still waiting on a response about my deposit, his lady who answered the phone was so unprofessional that I was told by her I was lucky he even gave me any money back because I dropped off late (even though when I ended up on bed rest due to an injury I called UHaul right away to tell them my issue) and she laughed about how I would never see my deposit because UHaul does not like to give them back and just kept laughing and talking trash about UHaul. I would NOT want her representing a company I managed/owned. I have been a manager for a few companies and that lady would not stay an employee of mine with 1) how she spoke and laughed at me and 2) how she disrespected the own company that gives her a paycheck.

I have a $100 deposit still due to me from May or June. Ihave talkedto 56 different people during this time frame and all are full of crap! Every one of them told me 2 weeks to recieve my ckeck, but still have not recieved it

This wasn't the location I requested. I made my reservation a month in advance and I had to go somewhere else to pick it up and they gave me a bigger truck, which was an issue because I was in the mountains. Very upset about this.

As I usually do I dropped my trailer off In Bryson City at R&G Maytag the owner Ron meet me once I pulled in knowing Ron from years passed n me not the best at backing up I handed him my keys he smiled most likely remembering my last drop off and doing the same I cannot thank him enough n appreciate his professionalism and kindness understanding I just completed a 12hr drive.

They had trouble locating my reservation -- the system had transferred it to another city making them call to have it transferred back. This happened before, my reservation either vanishing or moving. Please adjust this snag. I will not drive to another city to carry through with a reservation I made for a specific dealer. Otherwise, your website is very good!

I would recommend this place to a friend because it is the only truck rental in Bryson City, NC. I went in on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to change my rental from a trailer to a truck. The web site said they were open but when I got there the man said they were closed but he did go in and make the change. I was originally scheduled to pick up the trailer for Monday, but the man said they were closed. I informed him that the web site said they were open. He called his wife to ask if they were going to be open and they argued about it a little before he told her they would open at least for a few hours. I picked up the truck at 8am and other than mud in the driver's floor, it was fine and drove fine. 15' truck did not have cruise control and the seats were not very adjustable so the five hour drive was very uncomfortable for me to the point my wife had to drive the last half. Having cruise control, electric windows, and electric mirrors as well as a seat that could scoot further back and lean back a little would have been much appreciated. I consider these things standard these days and I know I have rented Uhaul in the past that had some of these features.

Information about truck was erroneous. Took almost 2 hours for Express check in. Customer service kept having me switch between app and browser site. The most arduous. unnecessary, complicated. ridiculous check in process ever experienced. Will never rent from uhaul again. My time is too valuable to be spent sitting in parking lot punching buttons

The person was helpful and it was quite quick to return the van. On the side of the van I rented it said $25 off you total cost if you returned the swept and the furniture blankets folded. I did this but did not receive $25 of my total price

We were told on Sat (9/28) that we could pick up the trailer on Sun (9/29), but on that day, the pick up location was closed. We had 3 men hired to move us and we had to pay them for Sun and then again on Mon9/30 when we actually picked up the trailer. That cost us more than the trailer rental.

The drop off location was changed from the original contract while I was using the trailer to a location far out of the way. I passed 2 uhaul dealers on my way to the new drop off. Your convenience or the customer?
