There was no Uhaul dealer address on the contract just the city location and a phone number. I got to the city and it took 25 minutes on hold to find out where to drop the truck. I was also informed that there might be a $20.00 "late fee" since the location was not open on the weekend. I rented the truck for ONE day (Saturday) and returned it that day. How can it be "late"??? Again VERY frustrating...and Uhaul better not charge me the late fee since I was NOT late in returning the truck. Next time I will go with another company!

Randy S.I know where we went it was 185 miles round trip they charged us 235 I think there was only3/4 of a tank of gas we put 70 dollars worth of gas in 5 miles from drop of they said there was only 5/8 I'm calling bullshit on that as well I think they might be pocketing some money for themselves and as it was after the fact a friend told me she had a similar problem happened at same place i went with budget in the past went to same place same miles 60 cheaper where do you think I'll be going back to

Monte D.Bait & switch. Without my knowledge, printed contract for larger truck at higher price that required more gas. When I realized this and requested the truck size I reserved he told me I was wrong about the size I reserved. I showed him my reservation email as proof and he replied that my choices were to take it or cancel the contract. Refused to rent truck size I reserved saying he “keeps those localâ€. Also incorrectly indicated fuel level as 7/8 when it was 3/4.

I was disappointed that I rented this truck to drive a total of 500+ miles and was charged $.79 a mile for being a round trip and one way is $.49 a mile! I tried getting the person at the rental agency to try to explain, but didn't quite get a good answer. When I told the person at the rental place that I would be using Penske from now on he said “have fun with that “. Also I would really like to know if anybody ever reads these reviews. RALPH H.The unit was not complete. The pin for keeping the ball release locked in the closed position was missing. I went to a hardware store, bought a bolt and installed it.
PHILIP D.The only issue when i call to u -haul to give me a close location to my deliver she give me 38 miles far from me destination ,its was an other u-haul very close to me and they also so have 26" I don't understand why she have to sent me that far
BAKARI D.The drop off process was really confusing. We scheduled to drop at bryson and they wanted us to drop somewhere else far away. We had to call, get transferred around, and almost beg to drop in Bryson. Not good, not easy.

ROGER W.I rented a 26â€ft truck for my move. At the end of the trip i discovered men and women used underwear stuff behind the driver seat and I was charged $45 for not removing them.
DEON B.I reserved a utility dolly, but none of them were available at pick-up without any prior notice. It was Sunday and the office was closed when I checked in. I had a hard time to load my stuff without a dolly.

She offered me the ability to call in with a photo of the uhaul hitch and gave me suggestions along with a video guide from uhaul. She has great customer service and a wonderful attitude!

Jeffery B.Even though the manager himself, Nick, has so far been understanding and I am still waiting on a response about my deposit, his lady who answered the phone was so unprofessional that I was told by her I was lucky he even gave me any money back because I dropped off late (even though when I ended up on bed rest due to an injury I called UHaul right away to tell them my issue) and she laughed about how I would never see my deposit because UHaul does not like to give them back and just kept laughing and talking trash about UHaul. I would NOT want her representing a company I managed/owned. I have been a manager for a few companies and that lady would not stay an employee of mine with 1) how she spoke and laughed at me and 2) how she disrespected the own company that gives her a paycheck.

Luke R.As I usually do I dropped my trailer off In Bryson City at R&G Maytag the owner Ron meet me once I pulled in knowing Ron from years passed n me not the best at backing up I handed him my keys he smiled most likely remembering my last drop off and doing the same I cannot thank him enough n appreciate his professionalism and kindness understanding I just completed a 12hr drive.
James R.They had trouble locating my reservation -- the system had transferred it to another city making them call to have it transferred back. This happened before, my reservation either vanishing or moving. Please adjust this snag. I will not drive to another city to carry through with a reservation I made for a specific dealer. Otherwise, your website is very good!
