Make sure air conditioning in vehicle works. Temperature was 106 and ac did not cool.
Gary WHowever, we noticed the furniture dolly we rented was not inside the truck when we arrived at our location. We had to go buy one at Home Depot. Also, the process for picking up the truck from the location took a long time???
ANDREW SThe gentleman who helped me was amazing. He helped with the check in process, as somehow my 24/7 check in did not work, when I got there. I called the 800# and the rep said I had to wait a half hour for the store to open. The gentleman saw this and allowed me to come inside, before the store actually opened and checked me it. He took a Pic of my license, since the app was not allowing me to do so. He went above and beyond, and that is a rarity in business today. He represented you very, VERY well! Kudos!! I shall rent from UHaul again, based on this first experience. Thank you! I wish I could remember his name, but I do hope this comment finds it's way to him, so he knows he was appreciated.
STACEY RPoor service and experience. Use to be a decent place to rent too. Store attendant not friendly or helpful. He had issues with my reservation and software which took a long time. “They” only rent now by making take pics of DL through the app- no exceptions. They charge 1.29 per mile and you have to estimate mileage use and be charged first. I said less than 10 mile. 12 was entered Actual mileage 7.6 and was charged for 10. Truck old, smelled, no suspension, gear shift felt like it would fall off any moment. When I returned truck, I had to pry out of him when I’d get a final receipt. He said “they will email me…” when asked who is “they” he finally said he’d check the truck in an hour. Not UHUAL service, treatment or truck condition.

RINO GI would go back to the Ray Rd. location based solely upon the customer service I recieved from the man manning register. I feel terrible for not remembering his name but he was incredibly cordial, answered all of my questions, and got me on the road lickety-split. My only qualm was the interior of the U-haul was fairly dusty, as though the vinyl hadn't been wiped down in some time. Additionally, the cab smelt of marijuana. However, that easily dissipated with a cracked window going down the highway.

MARWA MSuper easy & quick process. Truck was clean, exact mileage & full tank upon arrival. Returned it & got my receipt in my email within a few hours. No additional charges. They refunded $1 for an unused mile (I used the estimator). Highly recommend.

Jagwinder MThe U-Haul truck I got it at a quarter tank, and then I returned it at a quarter tank, the U-Haul tank gas gauge is very old, I then get an email saying they charged me 50 dollars extra for being a 1/8 of a tank of gas off when I dropped it off. It was hard to gauge the exact amount it was when I picked it up because of the old gauge on the truck. I felt like I turned it in at the same amount of pick up but was shocked to find a 50 dollar.

LINDSEY SI was scheduled to pick up my rental at another location early that morning. It wasn’t returned on time though and was told this place had what I needed. I drove another 5 miles down the road and was greeted by the most friendly man who just knew how my morning of moving was going. So helpful and I was on my way quickly. Even though they did not have the dolly I needed, his demeanor and kindliness made it all ok.
AMBER SHello, I have found that unless I secure storage or rental needs with an actual UHAUL location that things do not go well. This location was not prepared for me to pick up my rental. I reserved an appliance dolly that they did not have, and I had to leave and drive the uhaul truck to another location to find an appliance dolly. This impacted mileage and my time.

STEVE HNever, ever, ever rent from this place. Not only did they double-charge me for a 1-day rental, they claimed I caused damage I did not cause nor could they provide any evidence that I had. In order to dispute the fraudulent charges, they referred me to U-Haul Customer Service who said they couldn't do anything. U-Haul Customer Service referred me to Repwest (insurance company) who said they couldn't do anything. Repwest referred me back to Ray Mini Mart who said the person who could solve all these problems for me started work at 5. I waited to call him and HE said there was nothing he could do and...referred me back to U-Haul Customer Service. Save yourself the time, aggravation and runaround and rent from someone else.

Vanessa PMy backpack is completely covered in paint and ruined. Not sure why the interior of the truck would be freshly painted and come off on all the items I stored during my long trip. I still have to move more furniture across the country in the future. I will pay for another company that takes care of their trucks. I ordered a specific dolly and got a different one that was far less convenient (barely used it.) To make everything even more difficult Rays had almost no packing supplies. Not happy about dealing with a 3rd party company for a move this size. How much more did I have to spend to go to a full U Haul store?? I won't be spending this kind of money for a poor experience again.

JAMES MWhatever this guys name was that checked in my truck was a complete jerk. Wanted to spend the whole time telling me how he'd give me a fines and ridiculing me about my height in front of my children. It wasn't a one time thing, this went on for 5 minutes on 2 separate occasions. To top it off, left behind a set of airpod pros in the truck. Go back, they tell me they haven't seen them, but they still show that theyre at the location. Horrible experience!!!!!!!!
