The 26ft truck I rented had no power steering. It was extremely tough to maneuver to park in the neighborhood to unload. The lift door looked like it was rusting out. And a tire on the very back right side had a big gash into it. Feared it would pop possibly.MICHAEL F.

When I went to pick up my reservation, they weren't prepared at all. Tank was less than 1/4 full, had nothing on their side of the reservation ready, apparently the truck I reserved wasn't a one way truck which the website allowed me the option of, and it costs me 20 dollars more than the cost was when I reserved it.AUTUMN Q.
The key was too big to fit in drop box, I had to put it in garage drop. Also, I did have a dead battery, easy enough to jump on a cold morning, but it was not expected.KRISTINMARIE J.
Initially, the U-haul car dolly seemed okay. However, within an hour of driving we noticed one of the lights of the car dolly was hanging down by its wire. We immediately pull over to also discover the other light was compleletly missing. We weren't driving on an abnormally bumpy terrain--it was just a Virginia highway. We had to take one of our shoe laces to tie on the one remaining light so we should make it to a gas station. Once at the gas station we had to buy duct tape to further secure the light and we bought a second light to ensure that we would not be pulled over for a missing tail light. Hours later the duct tape started coming off in the wind and we had to stop at a walmart for zip ties and gorilla tape. All in all this car dolly added a couple hours to our trip because it began falling apart from the get-go. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing that U-Haul gave us a car-dolly in such a condition.MARLO T.

The rental site and personnel were fine. What was NOT fine was...; I needed to rent a tow dolly. TWICE after making plans I was rerouted to a different pickup location. Both of these were WAY out of my way and inconvenient, requiring me to add additional rental time & my time +gas just for travel. My plan was to obviously operate from a site near my residence. After making plans and coordinating people's schedules, U-Haul would screw them up with "equipment unavailability". It wasn't worth the aggravation. I think I will go buy a dolly.KEVIN M.

Mechanic or guy who worked there was extremely rude, insulted my choice to follow cdc guidelines about the COVID 19 pandemic and wear a mask and refused to check in my vehicle at that time and wouldn't give me a receipt for drop off. The whole thing was very sketchy and I will never go back to that location.GABRIEL A.
They were very rude and nasty at this place! I will not do business with this authorized dealer anymore nor will I recommend them to ANYONE! They over charged me for a cleaning fee of $50 and I had to call U Haul to make a complaint. After review of the pictures uploaded the U Haul manager agreed on providing me a credit for the way it was handled and also because the truck was not dirty. They said we dropped trash in their parking lot and they charged us for it. They are making U haul look bad doing business like that. I will continue to use U haul service but will not thru an authorized dealer. The experience left a bad taste. Poor Customer Service @ Real Deal Auto! They ARE NOT the Real Deal. I reserved my truck at 6 and got it at 8. My truck also had its cat converter cut off and it was absolutely nauseating driving from my apartment to my house which was a 30 mile drive to and from. I honestly don't know why I was even charged for this service. I was so tempted to leaving the truck at a location close to my house but I still needed to get my car I left at the original uhaul location.CODY G.

The tire pressure sensor was on, but the location informed me that this was a fault that needed to be fixed and that it was not because the tires were low on air. It would be good if this problem was resolved so that the driver could reliably use this feature to inform them of any safety issues with tire pressure. Aside from this, pick up was easy, as well as drop off. Vehicle was clean enough and drove very well.Christopher C.

The customer service was trash uhaul needs to move its location for real deal auto. They did not have the car set up for us even tho we requested the 24/7 pick up so we had to sit around until the shop opened then the man working was rude to us. Making comments as it didn't involve him it was uhaul problem as to why things were not set up correctly. Wasting our time and moneyâ€¦ worst experience ever.Weldon P.
The trailer was full of dirt when I picked it up. I had to wait for the trailer to be blown out. After dropping it off I was charged a 15 dollar cleaning fee. I called the branch for a refund and they sent me to customer service. The phone wait is 55 minutes. I called the branch back and they wouldn't pick up the phone. I expect to be contacted.MARK C.

I have the done trip couple dozen times, the round trip always same amount of miles - I was changed an additional 60+ miles. With this over inflated amount of miles added, It will be hard to use uhaul equipment again. Sean AllenSean A.

NEVER use this location again. I got a van were the flat tire already was on. However it was a very short drive what I needed this van for. ( Transportation of a refrigerator). The van has been dropped off full and clean. Remember, it was just a refrigerator in. This persons charged me $ 25 for " Cleaning" THIS IS FRAUD " .
