I had difficulty making reservations using the U-Haul web site but the direct call to the U-Haul 800 number was quick, effective, and efficient. The truck was clean and in good working order. I will use U-Haul again if I ever need another truck.

Customer service was top notch and overall experience was great. My only issue is I was charged a $15.00 cleaning fee on the trailer that I cleaned out before I returned it. That $15.00 fee is definitely a rip-off charge.

The service was horrible they charge me 25.00 for dust that was already in the truck I was told to replace gas not sweep floor and also they two people working today 3/23/18 accused me of stealing a portable charger called the police to the location to search me after I repliedly stated I never seen the charger

I was charged another 35.00 for no reason. The owner told me and my stepdad that the truck needed to be swept out when returned and showed us a picture from his phone with a small pile of dirt. We understood, so I personally bought a new broom to sweep it out before it was returned. My stepdad received a call saying my card was declined, that is how I found out I was charged another day. The owner told me the charge was for cleaning fee, I told him I cleaned it out, he tried to tell me I was lying and that I owed him more money and to dispute I had to call uhaul, so that his field manager can be informed and he would send him a picture of the dirt as if to threaten me to pay the rest, I was livid, he did not furnish us with a copy of this so called dirt and how am I to know if this is the previous picture we were shown before getting the rental? I am a military veteran and my word means everything, so why would I not sweep out the truck, I am not filthy. My prepaid card was charged 35.00 and 9.99 for overdraft fee and I have already called uhaul to dispute and have money returned. I have never had a problem with uhaul, I will either not use uhaul again and tell my family not to use or never use a private contractor with uhaul again. I will use the uhaul store on Virginia Beach Blvd only. I am so upset about this situation. I will not use Real deal Auto again, worst experience ever!!!!

Make sure that all the Fluids are full, and that there are no leaks. Radiator was spraying pink fluid all over the ground. To make it from Emporia, VA. to North Augusta SC, I had to keep adding Radiator fluid every couple of hours. So instead of a 8 hour trip it took me from 10am to 1030pm. My mother was absolutely furious. She is older and has a tough time driving at night and she is on a scheduled time to take medications. So as you can see, my trip was not great!

THe truck had a loud clinging sound that was concerning. Also, I was charged more than i have been charged before and i used uhaul for all my moves, but don’t think I will be any longer after the overcharges by this place.

I reserved a truck for a customer of mine and was told when the customer got there to rent it, it would be put in there name being there they ones there to rent. When i received the truck Estimated Paperwork it was my name on the contract, there address and Drivers license number, and my credit card. So nothing was put in the customers name and the charges were charged to my card. How can someone rent a Uhaul when there not physically at the store with drivers license and credit card. I am very upset with Uahul that they let a truck be rented in my name and i wasnt the one acutally renting the truck i just reserved it for a customer of mine. I HOPE THIS ISNT UHAULS POLICY!

when selling the insurance coverage the agent should tell the customer that they still can be responsible for a $150.00 charge. had I known that I would have saved myself the $10.00 for the insurance and just went with my own. comes off as sneaky :(

The fella at Real Deal Auto was nice enough and facilitated the transaction well enough including having his staff hook up the rental trailer to my van well enough. My complaint however comes with the return of the rental. He wasn't open on the day I returned the trailer so asked me to just park it on the lot, which I did do. I had thoroughly swept the 5x8 trailer ensuring to leave not a single crumb of my evidence behind yet the fella at Real Deal Auto, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, charged my credit card an extra $15.00 the day after I returned the trailer. He states he has photos to prove there was saw dust inside. I explained that couldn't be possible as I very thoroughly swept the tiny trailer. He stated that he had "warned me to clean it out before returning, as he does all customers" and had the right to charge me the $15.00. I explained that would be the last $$ I spent on U-Haul products. I hope he enjoys the last $15.00. I wonder how many other rentals he charges a cleaning fee for??

Your online system sucks. I have rented a pickup on the last two weekends and both times have tried to log in after returning the truck to let you know it is back (the store was closed for the day). I was not only able to let you know it was back but the hole system is confusing.
