I was a little taken aback by the cleaning and after-hour return charges as they were never mentioned during booking and pickup. It was an additional $45 I was not anticipating paying for that day.

Dropped off after hours so unable to speak on location cleanliness. However it is impossible to get a live person on the phone at that location as the phone is never answered and the message says that you have called a completely different number. I tried to call to dispute the cleaning fee I was charged as the truck floors were dirty when I picked it up

William SRick at this location, if that is really his name, was very unprofessional. He was very disrespectful and dismissive. He wouldn’t even take two minutes to do the inspection with me and check the vehicle in, he just took the key and told me he was busy and to leave. And then after I left he charged me a bogus $25 cleaning fee when I have pictures of the back of the truck showing how clean I left it and proof that the hand truck and drop clothes were left in the back. Why, it took my son nearly 30 mins to clean the cab of the truck when we picked it up and so it was far cleaner when I dropped it off than when I picked it up. If this man treated me like this I can only imagine how he treats other senior citizens my age. It was despicable. This location needs to be taken off of the U-Haul approved list. I would never ever recommend it.

Michael MI paid roughly $40 for 24 hours, returned it 10 hours later was charged $20 for after hours which was a bunch of crap and $25 for cleaning and it wasn’t dirty. Wrote a letter never got a response.

Alfred FThe rear outside wheel on the passenger side of the 20' rental truck lost the tread! Shards of rubber and steel belts went flying out the back of the rental, causing cars to serve on the interstate! My wife had to serve as she was following me! Luckily there was no one in the lane she served into. Tires do not just loose their tread. The rental truck provider mentioned the tires had been inspected and was genuinely more concerned about if the truck was clean, rather the the risk to serious injury and life of the wheels on the truck! How does Uhaul add value by charging me for this experience! Motorists are now weary of riding behind Uhaul trucks. Whatever was done to create this unexpectable vehicle condition, must be remediated now. If some one had been tragically injured, the insurance company would find fault with the tire and find that a separated tread, that did not even puncture the tire (the tire was NOT flat) was from an old aged tire, or a damaged tire that was installed instead of a more expensive new tire.

KELLY AThe space is very tight for a 26 ft. truck. The owner has one entrance blocked which makes for a tight u-turn in a heavily congested area. GPS routed me to the blocked entrance. I also rented 48 moving blankets and the owner only had 24 in stock causing me to reroute to another store @ Greenbriar where they said they only had 2 packages of six. They were on a shelf in the display room but the bottom package had been ripped open and two of the blankets removed. It was a poor experience especially considering I had made the booking well in advance to prevent such.
SAMUEL Ri did not returned the vehicle to this location but i was charged for mileage, cleaning and late drop off fee. I actually drop the vehicle off a day earlier. This location billed me for miles that they put on the truck. Very unethical and fraudulent.

Lydia TEnsure that you allow adequate time at return of your equipment to allow for check in, and return the equipment clean, i.e. mop vans and clean out personal items. Real Deal is a small dealer and employees should not have to clean up behind irresponsible users.
Sharron NPlease use the stickers to mark where there is damage on the vehicle and ensure that the vehicle is refueled to full before its lent out again.

So they sent me to another location that didn't have the accessories I ordered so I hooked up the trailer and had to go back to the first location. It was an auto repair shop with a few trailers.

Rex LAs a hearing impaired person, our conversations was challenged at first as well as how to upload the second drivers license. But all went well but the anxiety associated as a first time driver of a u haul l learned the importance of using both mirrors on the passenger side just prior to making a lane change✅. Overall the return caused me a little anxiety as well but customer service assured me the truck was returned and ✅ U Good! Thanks to everyone who supported this move.🙏
