Kimberly MI was charged for insurance but not asked if I wanted it. The man that started my pick up was more interested in his phone than helping me and completely ignored me. The second man that took over for him because he was too busy texting to be bothered checking me in was no better. Very dissatisfied. He told me I had to pay $100 extra when paying by debit which I did but I was only refunded $60 when I returned the unit

Lane NThe agent was amazing. I rented a car hauler trailer. The ratchet mechanism at the front of the trailer were massively worn out and look like they should have been replaced a decade ago. I needed to use my own ratchet straps to secure the vehicle. Secondly, who in the sam friggen hell designed that trailer and who accepted that design??? Those people should be trapped inside the loaded vehicle, just like I was. You pull the vehicle on the trailer, open the door to get out and, slam. The door hits the fender, there's not enough room to get a mouse out (slightly exaggerated, but MASSIVELY FRUSTRATING to not be able to get out of the loaded vehicle). Open the back passenger door, same thing, slam against the fender of the trailer. Open the passenger doors knowing full well they will slam against the trailer fenders. Great, how do I get the back hatch open from the inside... likely not even a possibility. What are my options... turn into gumby and climb out the window dukes of hazzard style, or sit in the car and cry. Just recently had a hip replacement, so climbing out the window seemed fun, and what the hell, if I dislocate my hip, who gives a fuck, right?? Of course my complaint will go absolutely no where. Just lesson learned for me... don't rent a car hauler from uHaul and spread the word to every single person I can and share on facebook and other internet review pages
Andrew KThe agent was unfriendly, looked as if my presence was bothering him. He did not explain anything and did not respond to questions politely. The truck looked and smelled like someone had previously smoked in it. There were still traces of cigarette ash. Poor customer service overall.

Orville WI asked if I needed to align or acknowledge anything to complete my drop off. They said No. 3 days later U Haul sent me an email suggesting I still had the trailer and my contract was in violation amd I had to return the trailer or pay more. Clearly the drop off location didn't close my contract term and I even dropped it off, 2 days ahead of my term schedule.

Sheena PStaff was friendly and very helpful. Just one suggestion for improvement: I rented a small trailer to move a motorcycle. I reserved the equipment online, but had to call in to check: if the trailer had a built-in ramp or not, what size of ball was required, and what type of electrical receiver was needed for the lights. It would be helpful to have all of that up front.
Matthew VThe equipment was clean inside but because of the time of year the exterior was dirty when we picked it up and dropped it off. The towing work well with no problems at all.
Jeffrey MStaff were friendly. The trailer, like the other ones in the lot, was covered in mud. First stop after pickup was to the car wash to clean off the lights and reflectors. Swept screws, fur, garbage, grass, amongst other items out of the back. Inside walls were covered in dust and dirt, likely spray from the wheels. A dolly that I did not order was in the back of trailer too. Hopefully older and less capable folks are offered assistance with lifting the trailer on and off of their hitch as it requires a decent effort and the large cargo trailers do not have jockey stands. All in all average experience.
Luke HLet’s see the truck was not ready when we arrived even though they had been open for 1 hour they had no idea we had booked. Truck had to be cleared of snow and run for 15 mins just so it could be driven. Ordered2 Dollie’s paid for 2 Dollie’s received 1 dolly because that’s all they had on hand! No offer of refund just to bad to sad her you go, will definitely not recommend or use this location again!

Kevin SNo help from the staff, frozen to the ground, those arms weigh a tonne because of the braking system and they made my wife try and lift it on her own. Won't even ask to help.
Dean RThe staff was not friendly bordering on unpleasant, the equipment wasn't ready then it didn't start and we got a new piece if equipment. There was a significant delay when picking up the equipment. There was no damage walk through or fuel check. Then when we were loading our equipment the truck was turned of.....when we were finished loading the truck didn't start amd we needed roadside assistance. Further delaying our commitments. The drop off was fine although the staff were still unpleasant. I feel like this all could have been avoided with more preventive maintenance like trickle chargers maybe or ensuring the equipment is started and ready when its booked for a rental

Kim RExterior truck windows and mirrors were so dirty upon pickup it made driving off the lot and to gas station to clean bordering on unsafe. Cup holders were also covered in coffee. No dollies were available upon pickup and was not communicated upon truck pickup. I had to go back to the location after notickng the blankets and dollies weren't in the unit. The staff member, who boasted originally boasted that he was in charge, was unhelpful on what to do ie if should call around or if just out of luck. Anither staff member finally stepped in and called another location to source some and was the only redeeming moment for customer service. Location and customer service at neighborhood location, Cooper Roofing, for dolly pickup was top notch.

Kevin FThe manager continually used foul language and spoke unprofessionally about world topics (Trump, Nazis, Trangenders, etc..). This location is convenient for me and I have rented from here before. I have to brace myself prior to every visit because this guy is just the worst. To be honest, you already know this U-Haul. Just read the reviews on google for this site. You should have fired this person a long time ago.

Chad SCancelled and rebooked my reservation with the wrong truck that was too small, didn’t clean off snow, warm truck up or even let me borrow a snowbrush. Mirror was broken. Called and ask if I could change the truck out for a larger one as I had reserved a 20’ and received a 15’. Was told there were none even though there were 5 available ones at that location. Then proceeded to yell and get aggressive. Also lied about having the truck I needed and it being available. Was an overall horrible experience while trying to move. Would never recommend this location to anyone and will never be returning.

Terence WMaybe actually have the equipment ready to be picked up when the person is there for pick up and have better customer service. Get your employees to actually want to help the customer rather then making them struggle to get the equipment.
Corey HDid not have what I had reserved. They changed my reservation the day before so didn't get what I wanted or the $50. The store itself is crowded and dirty, didn't even want to use their pen to sign. The truck was dirty in the back with dirt and grass from previous users, and after only 8 miles on the truck the fuel needle was already off full but staff say it was full. Disappointing experience.
Ryan MWas informed they did not in fact have the 20 foot truck I reserved a month early so we were given a 15 foot truck instead. He told us repeatedly we would be fine fitting our stuff into it and that the closest 20 foot truck was 3 hours away. Spoiler: it was not fine and there was a truck the size I ordered 30 min away. The rear door was left open so when we picked it up it was filled with leaves and he also didn’t have a dolly which we requested. Our move was literally the worst ever. 0/10 stars would not recommend unless you enjoy pain
