TOLGA TThe staff we super helpful and the office was comfortable, spacious, clean....it was actually cosy for a storage rental facility The truck, though clean, was completely lacking in power. It was a 26 ft truck and had 130K miles on it. It was a struggle to drive it downhill and since it struggled to even go 35MPH we were reticent to drive it on the highway. WE have no idea how the vehicle could make it on a cross country trip since the cross town trip was extremely unpleasant - the truck's suspension was horrible so it vibrated incessantly and zero power. This was a gas powered vehicle...if it had been diesel it would have been much more pleasant.
Lai-Ping LMirror on driver side was loose and had to roll down window multiple times during drive to fix. Very unsafe. Should be a safety check for issues like this. Also, day of move had to go to a different location to pick up moving blankets ordered. Had to move around schedules to accommodate. Pick up and drop off was fine.

Jonathan CI did not receive the rented dolly’s and furniture pads that I paid for and U-Haul did not remove those charges. The U-Haul leaked and the water damaged some of my possessions.
Anna CMy experience, on 12/13/2024, was outstanding. The professional that was working that morning was extremely helpful, walked us through the storage unit we had reserved, and we knew immediately that it was insufficient for our needs and showed us a larger unit. Then she went over the truck with me and our total visit, including viewing units and driving away in the truck was less than an hour. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and a real delight to work with. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name. She did share with me that she was not Alexcia, the Store Manager, but rather she was a floating manager who covered various absences for regular staff and thus she was there that Friday morning. If I EVER have to rent another truck or pursue a different storge unit I will most definitely return to the Redmond Ridge Self Storages location. Please, please let this individual know how impressed both my son and I were with her knowledge, background, and friendliness. She was amazing. MG & BG

GARY FI requested a moving dolly and blankets. They were not in the truck. I regret using the after hours pick up, but that was the only way that fit my move schedule.
Barry BPaid for a dozen moving blankets that weren't provided, and was told by the store "they were hoping to see them next week" when I made a reservation 4 days in advance. Truck had several warning lights on and smelled like fuel while driving, also terrible exhaust leak.

SHERIF MSomebody should call me before this escalates into me sending multiple complaints to the attorney generals office. My friends in the AGs office would be happy to investigate U-Haul and this location for your poor business practices. I will share more when contacted. However, this experience with your staff at this location was hands down the worst customer service interaction I have ever experienced.
Patrick HHave the correct truck available at pickup and/or customer service on site or that responds to chat messages timely. Do not charge the customer for your error. Do not bait and switch the customer in a deceptive manner causing injury to that and similarly situated customers
Lance OI rented a truck in person from a location near where I needed it. The agent told me I could pickup and drop off there. Two days before I was to pickup they told me I had to pickup at another location. I complained that it would cause me time and also more mileage. I was told I would get a credit. I did not. Disappointing bc it caused me more money and it was too late for me to find another rental at that point.

Deborah WMy last experience with UHaul was terrible. I was overbilled and the truck I requested wasn't available. This experience was the complete opposite. The lady working there was great and I was charged exactly the right amount.
Susan PDon't charge me for 3 gallons of gas if I've only travelled 14 miles, all of it with an empty truck. That's 4.6mpg - I'm sure the trucks are more efficient than that.
Reinout HI requested moving blankets that were not in the truck. Normally I would have just walked back in to talk to the person working the front desk, but I was frustrated by my experience and just needed to get on with my day if I was going to return the truck on time. I arrived at 10:36am for my 10:30 pickup. There was a gentleman already being helped, so I sat down to wait. After about 5 minutes, another gentleman walked in. When the person at the front desk finished with the first customer, the other customer that came in after me started to walk towards the counter at the same time I did. The person working there didn't even say anything to me, just made some sort of sound as if to tell me to hang on and then called the other customer up. After a little while I realized, based on the conversation happening, that this other customer had been in before I arrived and was just unhappy with the truck size he rented. Rather than help me and get me on my way, the person working there spent 15 minutes running in and out of the building to check truck numbers to see if any other sizes were not already assigned to another customer. I've rented a u-haul from this location in the past and had a great experience. But this time, the person working was a jerk that brushed me off without so much as an explanation about why he was skipping me to help someone else. When he finally got to me, it was less than 5 minutes before my paperwork was signed and I was out the door with the truck. I am really disappointed in the lack of decent customer service. And no apology - just a "thank you for your patience". I couldn't express my displeasure at that time because I had a pretty tight schedule to keep and I was already running behind at that point.
Brittany CThe directions to the place need to be fixed in the uhaul app !!!! They take you to one of 3 entrances. - no one there you can see an entrance on the other side throug th door -- you go there and see your truck but no one there. There is a third entrance around the other side - and that is where you need to go and where the lock boxes are etc. but not anywhere near the truck if you can't change the app CREATE A SIGNE TO PUT ON BOTH OF THE OTHER DOORS (The sign should read "FRONT OFFICE IS ON SIDE OF BUILDING ----> " You can even do this TODAY by just printing out such a sign on a piece of paper and taping it on the inside of the window/door to the two "false" entrances. This - plus the fact that the person had stepped out --- and the app had canceled my ability to log in because I was late picking it up (no place was I warned that if you didn't come right a the start of your rental time window - they would cut you off. ) Spent over an hour trying to pick up the truck due to 1) agent not there 2) truck nowhere near key boxes 3) cancelig my app checking when it didnt show up promptly are the start of my rental window 4) no ability to find the "correct" entrace (they all look like entrances with nice double-glass window doors with the name of the place on the window and a nice overhang in front.
Gregg VI reserved a truck for the lynnwood, WA location on Hwy 99 and 191st. No truck was available. Why do they call it a reservation if they don't reserve a truck for you? The nearest location with a truck available was 16 miles away at Redmond Ridge. We went after hours and the instructions to get the key were terrible. We finally got the key after 1 hour and 15 minutes, with the help of three different customer service agents. Because of the time that we lost, we were not able to leave when we wanted to the next day. We had to spend the night in a Hotel, added expense. Not pleased at all. I hope I don't have the need for a U-Haul ever again.

Michael HWe made a reservation but the truck was not available which messed up our plan and hence ended up spending more money, time and energy. We also explicitly said that we will drop off the furniture pad at Puyallup location (one way reservation) and we were told we were good. We dropped the furniture pads together with the truck in Puyallup but later a customer from Redmond rep called me and said I will have to bring the furniture pads back to Redmond location and if we will be charged. Overall very bad experience and seems to be normal. Fix your process and customer service.
Bishal BGreat process overall. Not related to this location but more general the online reservation tool can be a bit finicky and seems to indicate trucks are available at locations they sometimes are not. However this seemed to be when selecting a time when that location is closed (which you are then prompted to do a mobile check in). It all got sorted out just a learning experience. Id recommend selecting a time when a location is open then the reservation should be guaranteed. This particular location is excellent, great facility, lots of trucks, friendly staff.

Mark NThe odometer reading mentioned in the paper work was not aligned with the equipment odometer reading. That should be communicated clearly to the customer regarding the action item if in case of a discrepancy.
Viswanathan MThe fuel meter was faulty and I was forced to fill in 3 gallons of fuel for having driven the vehicle for 6 miles. After having filled 3 gallons suddenly after some time the fuel meter jumped up to show a fuel level higher than what I had received. The lady at the counter was of little help. I feel cheated for having over payed for fuel due to no fault of mine.

Nathan OThe "show video" function does not work correctly in the iPhone app. It aborts the transaction in progress, and it is not always possible to go back to complete it. I had to contact support to complete the transaction which they helped me with promptly.
