After starting to load the van I realized that the cargo bay hadn't in fact been cleaned all that well by the previous renter(s). There was lots of dirt / dust / detritus and little broken bits and pieces of things. Clearly it hadn't been swept out. I inevitably seem to be the one who has to make up for the poor job of people who came before... Also, when I went to turn on the cargo bay light to sweep after unloading, I discovered it didn't work. There was no bulb. And the fixture looked weird and maybe there was even something wrong with the fixture as a whole, I don't really know. *sigh* Shouldn't that kind of thing be dealt with before the vehicle goes out for rent again? Very frustrating. Fortunately cellphones make for passable flashlights these days...Ryan W.

Very poor instructions on pick-up and return. Truck was filthily on the inside (dirt, empty pop bottles under the seat, mud on the inside of the windshield. truck on outside was not very clean, oil pressure gauge did not work. After return of the truck was charged an additional 47.00 for what I do not know yet because I have not received the final bill. Its been two days and still waiting for them to send it via email. Walked into the office area at 3 minutes to 9 when they were supposed to open and employee told me I had to wait till 9 when they opened, not very good customer service. would not recommend renting from this location.Jeanette B.

We loaded the truck once we were done the door would not lock there was a problem with the door called for service t once they arrived they could not fix the door so the service guy cut the cable to shut the door and my 250 dollar dolly was left inside and the truck was taken back to the rental place and you guys were charging me for a problem that you did not fix and it was your fault and I would like my dolly back and no one knows where it's gone anymore dolly was brand new .when I went there the guy working there was rude told me if I could open the door I could get my dolly .Connie R.

I rented a 26-foot truck from here on a Saturday in April of 2022. I tried to book the truck at the main u-haul on Park street but U-haul called me and said my only option for that truck was Regina Carwash. I was skeptical because I needed two furniture dollys and two utility dollys because we were moving to an apartment down a long hallway. I questioned the u-haul representative about whether the Regina car wash would have my requested equipment after reading several reviews on here that said they never have the proper equipment there. He guaranteed to me that they would have everything I requested. When I say equipment I mean everything but the trucks. They seem to always have plenty of trucks. Of course, when I got there to pick up the truck they did not have any utility dollys and the woman at the counter told me she hasn't seen one in two years and that they are very hard to come by. They did have the furniture dollys and some appliance dollys that I used which were not ideal. If you need equipmnent from here I would not expect to get it. They seem to just give it out to whoever wants it and do not really have any kind of proper booking system for your requested equipment. U-haul also must know this, I mean just look at all the reviews about it. But they still guarantee equipment and keep sending people there even though they may not have the right equipment. The funny thing is that when I dropped the truck back off there was a utility dolly there even though the woman at the desk told me she hasn't seen one in two years. The truck was also a piece of garbage and felt like a death trap on the ring road. It was very dirty inside and the back door was covered in mud but this is not as important to me personally. The people at the counter also never check any of the trucks. They don't check anything before you leave and they don't check the truck when you return. Not even the fuel level you are supposed to leave it at. This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on if they blame you for something. It is just easier to go the main u-haul on Park street as you know they will at least have the equipment you request.Jesse B.

The equipment was reasonably clean but I had to scavenge a 4wire cable off the neighbouring trailer because the one on the trailer I rented was broke - minor issue but would have been a bigger problem if there wasn't a cable on the trailer next to it.Erik P.

They charged me the 75$ insurance after I said numerous times I do not want it. I called 6 different numbers that u haul employees gave me and they kept passing me on to someone else. 1/2 hr into our drive the radio stoped then the windshield wipers in a rain storm and 7 days later they still haven't gotten back to me. Excellent service! The parking lot there was a tight fit so it might have been best that they have the trucks arranged with this in mind (there was a lot of back and forth to get our truck out from where it had been parked at pickup) but that's the only thing I have to share, otherwise it was fantastic!!Scotty P.

Booked 2 dollys that weren't in the truck. Called the guy working at this location he said they didn't have any, a heads up would have been nice. Spent a hour calling around on a Sunday to find one. I rented this truck on Dec. 12, Uhaul have been putting money into my bank account and taking it out ever since. Today is Dec. 22 and you're still messing around with my bank account. The truck had no cruise control. How can a moving truck not have cruise? There was no place to park the vehicle when I returned it. So I took the keys for two other trucks moved them so I could park the truck I was returning. The cost per km is atrocious. I Have spent nearly $5000 renting trucks fro U haul in the past 4 months. when paying with debit card, I had to pay a deposit on the equipment. and on return found out computer system is down and was not unable to do refund back to my debit card. This location paid me out in cash.Robert N.
The trailer was literally full of snow, was buried in snow. Was barely able to remove the trailer from the location due to fence, very tightly parked trailer units around the trailer I rented. I have a Chevy 2500 4x4 and took me a few tries to pull free from the snow as I was spinning. Poor location to pick up/drop off bigger trailers at, snow removal done poorly/covered trailers. Staff was polite Howver would be nice if their was staff to assist in hooking/removing trailer as if it was just my girlfriend she wouldn't have been able to get it. Probably won't use uhaul again. I asked the man working there to help me attaching the trailer to my SUV, but he refused. He let me attach it myself, and then asked me to bring the car to his shop door so he can check it and took photos..... In other places I rented trailers from, they always help customers to attach the trailer.HISHAM E.
When I picked up the truck, the gas was less than a quarter.The app did not ask me to take pictures, so I thought maybe uhaul is already aware of that from the previous user of the truck.This is pure cheating where they provide less than a quarter of tank and charge us unnecessary for a full tank of gas and other service fee. There is no way if uhaul would have provided me a full tank I would have used it all for just driving 82miles as per the invoice. Being a mobile pickup centre, uhaul should not have allowed me to book dolly when there is none available at the location. And the funny part is they are still charging me for it. I asked them to revise the charges, and send me a corrected invoice. Also the amount has already been withdrawn from my account. I am very disappointed with your service and should not have done a mobile pickup. After days of waiting, i got the refund for the dolly charges but no reply to my email. I tried calling uhaul waiting for more than an hour over the phone, as soon as I was the 1st one in queue the call dropped. I even tried to go through chat but it automatically crashes. Three weeks prior I rented a 26 ft truck from Regina car wash and went farther km wise and paid less than when I just rented a 15 ft truck that I drove 64 miles less and paid more for that rental, and to make matters even worse I paid the cashier cash and said that I don't want it charged to my credit card. Low and behold a couple days later Doing online banking I discover that the cashier not only took my cash payment but also charged my credit card for the same payment Not impressed. I phoned the owner and he says yeah yeah I have all the info here it will take time to figure it all out I will phone you back later witch he never did, I had to call back twice and threaten to call the police if they didn't straighten it out asap. Word of caution make sure you visually check your receipt before you leave.Billy D.
