First off the place I picked the uhaul up at did great it was at a antique store nice elderly lady there that runs the place worth stopping by if your in the area. And the truck was nice and clean no problems there. But I will never recommend uhaul to anyone after what I've been dealing with!!! I've been dealing with uhaul the day I picked up the rental they put a charge/hold on my card the next day charged my card the amount for renting the truck on top of the hold. Ok no big deal called them they said the hold would come off and only the one charge would be on there few days they only returned a little bit of the hold and charged me again. Called them again about my card that they keep changing run around after run around now I've gotta go to my bank and have them get all the information and have them deal with uhaul. Great job uhaul!!! Must be why no matter when you call there's a 20 minute wait to speak with someone. If live chat can't answer your questions they just end the conversation. Haven't received any Emails back or a phone call from their Credit card department like the service employee on The phone says they will get back to me within 24 hours. But yet can send me a email for this survey?Josh W.

The mobile check in and return was pretty amazing. I have never picked up a truck that way. It allowed me to pick up even though the location was closed. It was simple and worked seamlessly.pamela T.
I have rented U-Hauls a few times I choose this location cuz the people are very nice when I get there they're expecting me to have the keys ready the trucks ready they're absolutely wonderful people.Steven J.
remind people to check the truck back in online BEFORE putting the key in the lock box. I didnt realize the website was going to ask so many questions and you need to have to the key for photos. I locked the truck then attempted to check it back in.Joseph R.

This was a horrible experience for my fiancÃ© and I. I was calling around to find a uhaul but was unsuccessful. So I called the 1800 number and the man who answered was very exceptional. He found me one right next to my home. Plus he got me a uhaul for cheaper than I could find. Took all my information from me and turned it in for me. He went well beyond anything I expected. When we went to pick it up the women at the rental place which was a antique store was horrible. My fiancÃ©e was driving it so she had to do all the paperwork for it. The woman was very rude and nosey. She qsked a bunch of questions that were not any of her business and made it seem like we were really dumb and incompetent. My fiancÃ©e lives in a different county then me and When my fiancÃ©e handed the women her driver's license the lady said why did you drive all the way to get a local truck you have to bring it back here. I told her because I live right up the street she is just driving it and it was cheaper than a one way . She acted like we were stealing it. She said repeatedly said you have to bring it back here and everytime I assured her we know that. When my fiancÃ©e went to pay the women kept telling her how to pay like my fiancÃ©e had no idea how to use her card which this older person was the one who was very wrong. The uhaul was in very good condition except looked like it had never been cleaned. There were 20 pepperoni and an ubundinse of dried French fries everywhere. When we were on our way to return it the owner of the business called and was very rude. She said are you on you'd way yet I have to rent it again I assured her that we were and that we paid her for a whole day and that we still had over an hour left and would be there in 5 minutes. That's only a bit of the fiasco. The customer service phone call for t800 number was exceptional and the truck was in very good condition but extremely dirty plus the rental place was horrible. If we did this again and that business was the only one we could find I would put our belongings on my back and walk them to our destination.brendan D.

The people at the location were extremely helpful and made picking up the u-haul seamless. However, my overall experience with u-haul was garbage. This pick up location was over 40 minutes away from where I lived, so I had to take a 40 minute Uber out to Crystal City and then drive it back to my location. There at least 10 u haul locations closer to me. That is ridiculous. I had to confirm that a u haul was even available myself since a uhaul representative never reached out to me. Getting anyone on the phone is like pulling teeth. Personally, I will never be using u-haul again and won't recommend to anyone.Yvonne C.
I asked and paid for an appliance dolly which wasn't in the truck. I asked the owner if she had any appliance dollys and she said no. She didn't explain how to get a refund on the website after me asking. She caught up with me on the way to my truck and gave me an appliance dolly which only had one of two roller belts and said that's all she had. Very dissatisfied and made my move very difficult. Make sure moving pads are folded and in carrier. No dolly was available which leads me to ask why is that a question on the checkout if it is not in the dolly dock in the truck. And to top it off on a hot day the AC went out on the truck!Mark S.

I received a call from the St. Louis office from a lady named Tria. I was running late and she demanded to know what time I was going to be there or she was canceling my order. Kinda sad considering y'all changed my pick up location. Also the lady at the pick up location stated Tria speaks to her Rudely. Not sure I would have Tria contacting customers extremely disrespectful and talks down to people.Eric B.

I was told the truck had 3/4 tank of gas in it when I rented it. Upon getting inside of it and starting it, I noticed it had less than 3/4 tank of gas. I drove the truck 15.9 miles, I put 3.779 gallons of gas in it before returning. The gas station is 1.1 miles away from the drop off location. The next day I received a receipt from UHaul and noticed $14.40 gas charge. I the follwing message to UHaul, but did not receive a response: Hello, Can you tell me what the gas charge of $14.40 is for? When I got in the truck before I left, the gas gauge was not on the 3/4 tank mark, it was more like between 1/2 and 3/4. I did put gas in the truck before I returned it, I am attaching a copy of my receipt from the gas station. I put in 3.779 gallons. I drove the truck 15.9 miles. That would come out to 4.20 miles per gallon. Thank youPeggy S.

The guy has no idea what hes doing. The appliance dolly was old. Has to drive with headlights on whole time to see the road. The drivers door would not shut tight and freezing cold came in. Over all experience was awful. Also the loaction hours are different than uhaul has they close earlier than listed.Erin M.

I couldn't get a receipt. When I picked up the trailer the lights didn't work and I was told they could maybe fix the following day. I received a call the next day saying someone would come to the house to fix it. They never showed up. My card was charged 3 times which caused my account to run negative. I then was charged insufficient fund fees by my bank. I was also left stranded out in the middle of nowhere with my wife and two small children and no money for days because my account was drained. When I dropped it off I was told to call customer service. I called customer service 3 times and eventually was told I would get the additional charges refunded in a 3-5 business days. That didn't help especially since it was a Friday. So now add the weekend to th3 3-5 business days. Overall it was a horrible experience. Leaving a family stranded is horrible! I stood in front of a register at the drop off but couldn't get my money refunded then. I'd have to wait 3-5 business days.Clinton W.

These people were very helpful. The issue I had was that they were my third stop at a U-Haul to try to drop off the trailer I rented. The first location listed on my contract had road construction in front and no driveway access. They had zero U-Haul equipment on their lot because they couldn't apparently get anyone into their lot. The second location I tried told me that they did not take trailers, only trucks. By the time I found the people in Crystal City, I was late on the return time and U-Haul initially wanted to charge me a full extra day. The last place called U-Haul and got the extra charge removed. I was told that I could will-call drop off the trailer when I rented it. Not trueMark T.
