The app would not work. No one was available at the location to help us. The lock and key were hard to deal with- the key didn’t want to turn in the lock. This was a terrible experience from the moment we picked up the truck until we dropped off the keys. I would never recommend using this location or checking in on the app. I tried to chat with someone on the app but no one was available there either.
Amy KI was told I could drop off anywhere. I dropped off at a different location and was charged for wrong location. I was also given extra miles due to being unable to pick up where I wanted and still was charged for that as well.
CALEB BEngine light was on the 15 ft truck I rented the keys in lock box were for different truck. I had 2 truck rentals the 20 ft had snow on hood/windshield and was on a back lot with no lighting and snow and ice covered
Dale GRemote return, so did not interact with anybody. Key drop box was not easy to find on the back corner of the building. Otherwise all was fine.
Luther SWe dropped our rental truck off just after 9am. No one was at the office although it states on their site they open at 9am. The U-Haul office sits way back from the entrance so we weren’t really sure it was a U-Haul drop off center even though there were U-Haul trucks parked in the grass. The office sits way back among other buildings. Poor signage for the average Joe.
ALLEN DKimberly from the location in Desoto helped us with the booking with Keith White … we turned in and swapped out our 15 ft into for a 10 ft unit and it performed well for what we needed
GARY HIt's hard to rate this. The place was closed for renovation and there was no one there to talk to or get help from. The place was a cute antique store though, and the U-Haul part of it was around the back of the building. There were other trucks parked there, and we hoped we put ours in the right place, and did what we were supposed to do.

Matthew EBooked multiple times because my reservations kept getting moved too far away. Finally got the truck I wanted booked and when I show up, the person working at the Uhaul location is in the truck I’ve rented. I got told the truck I rented was left with absolutely no gas so I would have to get a different truck. So after booking 5 separate times, I get stuck with a truck half the size of what I booked. You guys say you have a $50 guarantee, yet I had 4 failed bookings before finally getting put into the wrong size truck. If there was any other service that had anywhere near comparable pricing, I would never use Uhaul again. I have nothing but issues every single time. Either your system sucks, or the people working at the locations are extremely rude. It’s never a good experience having to rent a Uhaul.
KYLE KI didn’t sign up to use the U-Haul app and I was forced to use it.never received an email saying I had use it I should have a discount for doing other peoples jobs of renting and returning U-Hauls trucks….
timothy bThe location that I made a reservation to pick up a truck was closed for remodeling even though there hours were posted online and should have been open. This severely delayed moving day. The truck had 1/4 tank of fuel, forcing me to have to stop for fuel before beginning my already delayed day. This is an unacceptable way to run a business and I will never use uhaul equipment again. The customer service people fixed the problem after transferring my call around but my time is valuable as is the time of my employees that I was paying to be there on moving day. You have competition and this pushed me to them.
Glenn ECheck engine light was on and we were supplied with the wrong equipment. This made moving furniture and washing machine up and down stairs very difficult. The time we lost to this error is unacceptable.
Jacob KRental side wasn’t open during business hours as posted and advised. App was super slow and hard to wait for. Had to quit and go back several times. Couldn’t submit pictures as it asked because it kept crashing.
Jamie SThe add-ons that I requested (a dolly and a set of furniture protectors) were not in the truck. The business that is affiliated with UHaul from where we rented the truck was not open, or I would have asked them for those supplies when we realized we didn't have them.
Michelle GWhen I arrived to pick up my rental, nobody was at the complex ... I didn't receive any sort of notification about this; no sign on the door, no email, no text message; nothing.... I was there almost 45 minutes before finally being able to get hold of somebody and get the key to my rental .... And when I was billed, there was an additional charge of 20+ dollars (not sure what that was for because I never received a billing statement .... Very disappointed with my experience. With the nonsense I dealt with at pickup, I might've thought I'd get an apology; perhaps even a price-break ... But instead, I got billed extra.
Jeffrey VDon was exceptionally accomadating throughout the entire reservation process. He went out of his way to ensure he was available at whatever time I needed to pick up the trailer. Very nice and polite gentleman.

James LU-Haul was unable to provide the size trick that I reserved (26'). We reserved for early morning pick up and the largest truck as we had to move a house in one day. They instead only had a smaller truck for the morning causing us to have to make more trips then planned resulting in an almost $300 upcharge because of mileage

VANESSA PI always take a pic so i know where the gas is not sure why i got charged a gas fee but i guess you have to charge extra for something. There was a sticky substance over the dash and sorts so i grabed some napkins and put in cup holder so my stuff wouldnt be sticky. If you are going to over charge people you shouldnt ask for a review.

Randell FThis location did a great job. As a mover, I rent uhaul regularly. But I have had problems with locations not setting keys up and maintaining trucks. Corral Storage in Park Hills has a truck that burns gas. I rented that particular truck and drive 30 miles while it burned a 1/4 tank. Also the same place, I went to pick up truck and no keys were left in the box. If it were not for my clients and your shortage on trucks, I would not rent from this location. Lane Storage in Desoto, I was suppose to rent from yesterday. But when I arrived at 6am ti pick up the truck in which I drive 30 out of the way to get. No key was placed in the box. So I wasted more time to drive further north to pick up a truck now 45 min from my moving location. How I feel is Uhaul is dropping the ball on renting trucks. I still have not heard back from a manager in which I asked to speak to days ago.

Daniel EFirst off the place I picked the uhaul up at did great it was at a antique store nice elderly lady there that runs the place worth stopping by if your in the area. And the truck was nice and clean no problems there. But I will never recommend uhaul to anyone after what I’ve been dealing with!!! I’ve been dealing with uhaul the day I picked up the rental they put a charge/hold on my card the next day charged my card the amount for renting the truck on top of the hold. Ok no big deal called them they said the hold would come off and only the one charge would be on there few days they only returned a little bit of the hold and charged me again. Called them again about my card that they keep changing run around after run around now I’ve gotta go to my bank and have them get all the information and have them deal with uhaul. Great job uhaul!!! Must be why no matter when you call there’s a 20 minute wait to speak with someone. If live chat can’t answer your questions they just end the conversation. Haven’t received any Emails back or a phone call from their Credit card department like the service employee on The phone says they will get back to me within 24 hours. But yet can send me a email for this survey?
Josh WThe mobile check in and return was pretty amazing. I have never picked up a truck that way. It allowed me to pick up even though the location was closed. It was simple and worked seamlessly.

Steven Jremind people to check the truck back in online BEFORE putting the key in the lock box. I didnt realize the website was going to ask so many questions and you need to have to the key for photos. I locked the truck then attempted to check it back in.
Joseph RPLEASE REVERT TO HAVING A FULL TANK OF GAS! PICK UP FULL..RETURN FULL.. GUESTIMATING HOW MUCH GAD TO REPLACE IS INCONVENIENT AND INEFFICIENT AT BEST. FIR THAT REASON ALL THE GOOD YOU HAVE HAVE IS DIMINISHED COMPLETELY.
miles aThis was a horrible experience for my fiancé and I. I was calling around to find a uhaul but was unsuccessful. So I called the 1800 number and the man who answered was very exceptional. He found me one right next to my home. Plus he got me a uhaul for cheaper than I could find. Took all my information from me and turned it in for me. He went well beyond anything I expected. When we went to pick it up the women at the rental place which was a antique store was horrible. My fiancée was driving it so she had to do all the paperwork for it. The woman was very rude and nosey. She qsked a bunch of questions that were not any of her business and made it seem like we were really dumb and incompetent. My fiancée lives in a different county then me and When my fiancée handed the women her driver's license the lady said why did you drive all the way to get a local truck you have to bring it back here. I told her because I live right up the street she is just driving it and it was cheaper than a one way . She acted like we were stealing it. She said repeatedly said you have to bring it back here and everytime I assured her we know that. When my fiancée went to pay the women kept telling her how to pay like my fiancée had no idea how to use her card which this older person was the one who was very wrong. The uhaul was in very good condition except looked like it had never been cleaned. There were 20 pepperoni and an ubundinse of dried French fries everywhere. When we were on our way to return it the owner of the business called and was very rude. She said are you on you'd way yet I have to rent it again I assured her that we were and that we paid her for a whole day and that we still had over an hour left and would be there in 5 minutes. That's only a bit of the fiasco. The customer service phone call for t800 number was exceptional and the truck was in very good condition but extremely dirty plus the rental place was horrible. If we did this again and that business was the only one we could find I would put our belongings on my back and walk them to our destination.

Tom NThe people at the location were extremely helpful and made picking up the u-haul seamless. However, my overall experience with u-haul was garbage. This pick up location was over 40 minutes away from where I lived, so I had to take a 40 minute Uber out to Crystal City and then drive it back to my location. There at least 10 u haul locations closer to me. That is ridiculous. I had to confirm that a u haul was even available myself since a uhaul representative never reached out to me. Getting anyone on the phone is like pulling teeth. Personally, I will never be using u-haul again and won't recommend to anyone.
Yvonne CI asked and paid for an appliance dolly which wasn’t in the truck. I asked the owner if she had any appliance dollys and she said no. She didn’t explain how to get a refund on the website after me asking. She caught up with me on the way to my truck and gave me an appliance dolly which only had one of two roller belts and said that’s all she had. Very dissatisfied and made my move very difficult. I will not be recommending this to a friend.

MARK SMake sure moving pads are folded and in carrier. No dolly was available which leads me to ask why is that a question on the checkout if it is not in the dolly dock in the truck. And to top it off on a hot day the AC went out on the truck!
Mark SI received a call from the St. Louis office from a lady named Tria. I was running late and she demanded to know what time I was going to be there or she was canceling my order. Kinda sad considering y’all changed my pick up location. Also the lady at the pick up location stated Tria speaks to her Rudely. Not sure I would have Tria contacting customers extremely disrespectful and talks down to people.
Eric BThey changed the drop off location without informing us. Almost had to drive 20-30 minutes out of our way. Luckily when we arrived at the drop off location we chose they ended up making it right for us without charging a fee.

DeWayne HI was told the truck had 3/4 tank of gas in it when I rented it. Upon getting inside of it and starting it, I noticed it had less than 3/4 tank of gas. I drove the truck 15.9 miles, I put 3.779 gallons of gas in it before returning. The gas station is 1.1 miles away from the drop off location. The next day I received a receipt from UHaul and noticed $14.40 gas charge. I the follwing message to UHaul, but did not receive a response: Hello, Can you tell me what the gas charge of $14.40 is for? When I got in the truck before I left, the gas gauge was not on the 3/4 tank mark, it was more like between 1/2 and 3/4. I did put gas in the truck before I returned it, I am attaching a copy of my receipt from the gas station. I put in 3.779 gallons. I drove the truck 15.9 miles. That would come out to 4.20 miles per gallon. Thank you
Peggy SThe guy has no idea what hes doing. The appliance dolly was old. Has to drive with headlights on whole time to see the road. The drivers door would not shut tight and freezing cold came in. Over all experience was awful. Also the loaction hours are different than uhaul has they close earlier than listed.
