Cuong VTruck did not start so moved to 26 foot truck. Way too big to maneuver. The brakes were bad. The interior smelled terrible. And the location changed from Waterbury to wolcott adding unnecessary time and miles.

MICHAEL GMany mistakes. The first was when I arrived and they left me the wrong key. The second was when I had to spend 40 minutes with the attendant on the phone, looking for a truck in the parking lot (it's winter). When I finally found a truck, it was running out of fuel and I had to fill up (the promise was that I would get 41 free miles, and I used 41.2 miles). And until now, they haven't returned the $20 worth of gas that I put in.

Michael WRenes Auto was great, they helped me out when another contracted U-Haul Provider didn't show up for my scheduled rental. I had given up after scrambling to try to find another truck that morning, at a few different places, to move a couple of couches, and then got a call from U-Haul. And the owner of Renes had a truck, was aware of my situation and was waiting for me to come down, if I was still interested. Which I was. When I got there he was friendly, had me all set up in 10 mins and I was on my way. Showed me where to drop the keys if it was after hours when I brought the truck back, and he saved the day. Couldn't thank him enough.

kevin GNot a bad place for a drop off but the cell service in the area makes the pick-up/drop off process difficult and there's no wifi nearby to connect to. I requested a 15' truck and recieved a 20' truck which was much more space than I needed but I was "guarenteed" my requested equipment but wasn't notified that the 20' truck was the only truck available. Paid for an appliance dolly and recieved a utility dolly instead. Also, the model of the truck was one of the older ones so the gas gauge was mildly ambiguous for how much needed to be filled to reach the amount needed for return so what read as "10.6 gallons" to refill was closer to 7 gallons instead so UHaul got away with a free ~$12 in gas at my expense. Not crazy about this experience, I've had much better UHaul experiences in the past.

Ralph SThe self-serve app sucks! It took me a half hour to check in because the app wouldn't upload I formation and jop off was just as bad. Pics would not upload and I was there for 20min and still couldn't close out. I had somewhere to be so I had to leave before it closed. The app NEEDS to be improved

chris kKnow the actual readings of the trucks you’re renting instead of treating the customer as a criminal. If this happen to me its happen to others. Being over charged is the crime. Calling out the customer as a liar is not an approach being of a business.
Kenneth NI originally made a reservation at the Meriden rd location in Waterbury CT and had technical difficulties because the area had no service. I sat for 2 hours trying to get assistance with customer service and was unsuccessful. I made a new reservation at a different location just for them to tell me I had a balance.U-Haul charged me the wrong rate then charged me again just to have me sit and wait on a U-Haul for 4 hours at the location to continuously be told that I still have an outstanding balance due to your customer service negligence.

dan tNot an easy task retrieving the key from the lock box after hours. We spent more time on line and finally speaking to customer service (who was excellent) then it took to load the truck.
