Easy to find, lots of selections, easy parking, friendly and efficient staff
Scott IThere were two women working at the location who seemed to be bickering with each other about how to do the computer work, which made the experience feel a bit disorganized. Someone had called me the day before and specifically told me to arrive early because they get very busy and there would likely be a lineup. Because of that, I arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited, but there ended up being no lineup at all. The truck itself was also not in very good mechanical condition. It had significant shaking while driving and appeared to have oil leaks. The interior was mostly clean, although the cup holders looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Another frustrating part was the booking and pricing. I originally booked online at a different location because the website showed the truck as available there. I was later called and told I would have to pick it up at this location instead. On top of that, I was quoted just over $50 when I booked online, but ultimately ended up paying over $100. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but between the location change, unexpected price difference, condition of the truck, and disorganization at pickup, it definitely could have been better.
Jonathon HSusan was amazing! She had the Truck and Trailer connected and ready to go when I got there. She was very accommodating, kind and professional. Highly recommend using this place even if you have to drive an hour to get there.

Groves PDespite what i said above, the review relates only to the customer service I received at the arnprior and renfrew locations. Kim and her coworker at the alternate location are fantastic and both deserve raises, but you wont do it because you're a corporation and only care about your fuckin share holders. U-Haul as a whole is complete garbage. When I show up, there better be a truck available, and if there isn't, one should be brought to me. I should not have to go 30 minutes out of my way to secure a vehicle I requested, at an ALTERNATE LOCATION. This mistake cost us 2 hours of moving time and had me working til 1130 at night to fix this blunder.

J GThe system was down making the experience very frustrating and way too slow. The service person tried her best and was pleasant. However she didn’t seem to really know what she was doing despite the systems issues. You need a backup way of doing rentals if your has issues and you lr staff needs to be trained properly.
JAMES TWe had to rent a small truck shortly after my mother-in-law had died and the owners at this location went above and beyond to make the process easy. When I was having difficulty with the online booking they stayed late at the location so that I could complete the necessary paperwork and pick the truck up. This kindness during a very stressful time when we had a lot of work to accomplish in a short time was very, very much appreciated! Thank you.

geoff rThis was the worst experience of my life. I needed to clean out a deceased family members place. I went with uhaul online. Booked a $19.99 van for a few hours. I ended up costing $75 an hour for total of over $331. Plus my movers expense. Thank you U-Haul for making a tough situation even tougher.

Sue stayed late so we could still take it out and when it was returned it was broken so the gentleman and Sue fixed it up again to make it roadworthy.
