I picked up the vehicle and the gas tank was ruptured. I went to fill up gas and all the gasoline was on the Gas Station floor when I called them and reported this and dropped off their vehicle the the next day I called and told him that they still charge me for five days. I wasn’t able to get my job done with the items I had to haul. I have a pending case with this company do not rent from them.

MEHRDAD AI made a truck and dolly reservation a month in advance of our move date, as we needed to transport several heavy items. The night before the move, a U-Haul representative called to inform me they had given away my dolly reservation. I was directed to this location that was not open on Saturday, which I tried to avoid incase there were any issues. When I finally got in the truck and opened the back, there was no dolly to be found. So I was then forced to go to a Home Depot in Van Nuys on a Saturday morning, where at least a dozen workers in the parking lot tried to solicit work from me entering/exiting the store. My girlfriend was visibly uncomfortable due to the attention there. I ended up spending $175.18 on a dolly from their limited selection. This entire ordeal made me over an hour late to meet the rest of the group, impacting our move schedule. After the move was over, I reached out to U-Haul before posting anything online, at an attempt to find some resolution: - 1st attempt – A representative offered a supervisor call-back, which didn’t happen. - 2nd attempt – I was told I would receive a callback in 5-10 minutes. When I finally got the call over an hour later, my lunch break was already over. - 3rd attempt – The representative initially claimed there was no dolly associated with my reservation (Then why was my reservation moved?), then offered me $25 for my trouble, followed by $50, before finally stating they were unwilling to do anything further. I would have gladly paid $50 to avoid putting my girlfriend in that situation, having to spend $175 on a dolly, making us late and forcing 4 other people to wait on us! To add to the frustration, the truck was badly out of alignment and had no windshield fluid. Despite being marked as half-full of gas, it was completely empty when I picked it up.

Meytal BThe height of where the keys are located isn't short people friendly. When I arrived to the location, the gas gasket was open as if it was tampered with. There was an old Marijuana joint in the door of the van. The van was below E and I stalled in the road trying to get to the gas station. Communicating with the office to speak to someone about difficulty getting the keys out of the lock box and how the truck was found was very inconvenient. Someone should be on the premises during operating hours so that things can be taken care of immediately and not over an hour to get assistance.

Russell HBEWARE !! IMO I found this GUY to be A THEIF & a LIAR! He made FALSE CLAIMS in an attempt to steal from me. SEE PICS!! I assert will do same to you. PROTECT YOURSELF. TAKE EXTENSIVE PICTURES. A SHYSTER (Shyster - someone who acts in a disreputable, unethical, or unscrupulous way!) UHAUL SHOULD BAN THIS GUY & THIS LOCATION from representing their COMPANY. He was NOT OPEN ON TIME. He THEN TRIED TO OVER CHARGE me AT PICK UP & change my terms. He slammed his door in my face . UHAUL reps had to call HIM, force him GIVE ME the KEY to the truck. I WAS an hour LATE GETTING the TRUCK due to this guys unscrupulous motives. One worker quit while waiting because it was turning into a FISACO just to get the key. A horrendous stressful experience. This location & guy already has complaints against him plus reviews he has cheated others.I am not the first. IMO - He is not friendly or professional and I found him creepy. I was so put on guard by this guy’s action/behavior at pick up, when I dropped off the truck at 3 o’clock a day early, I took pictures for documentation. YOU MUST DO this to PROTECT YOUR SELF!. I took pictures of all sides of the truck plus the inside of the truck, both the cab and the moving space. Perfectly clean. I also TOOK PICS of mileage & gas because I felt this guy was going to try to steal from me. AND SURE enough a couple hours after dropping off, I get a BOGUS BILL for $45. $25for cleaning / $20 after hours! AFTER HOURS I dropped off at 3pm (his business hours are 10 - 6). And the truck was in perfect clean condition. UHAUL refunded still THIS GUY (IMO) IS A LIAR, A THEIF and according to other complaints and reviews CONSISTENCY attempts to STEAl & RIP OFF UHAUL CUSTOMERS!!! HE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM BEING A UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE. These type of issues have never occurred, at least to me, at any uhaul stores. I like uhaul but this GUY this LOCATION is some one who you need to protect yourself from. FYI before I rented here there were other reviews posted about this guy over charging them for gas. One for $60.BEWARE and PROTECT YOURSELF it’s to bad UHAUL knows of these issues yet allow him to continue to REP their name and steal from there unsuspecting customers! Btw u haul most likely won’t post this TRUTHFUL REVIEW

ELIZABETH GMake improvements on your website. After I reserved the truck it told me I had no reservation and no rental. Yet I had obtained a reservation number. The retailer couldn’t use the website either to check me out. It took over an hour and when I returned the truck it couldn’t find my rental. When I picked up the truck it was on empty. I had less than 1 mile to find a gas station. There was no instruction manual to find out how much gas I needed or how to operate certain features. I had no receipt for insurance,etc. All in all the worst experience from u haul ever.
