I hope that U-Haul is not in the process of using 3rd party, limited customer service and minimal support staff facilities which this facility at Ricks Detailing Shop has downgraded too. I have rented U-Hauls from this facility in the past and the service, facility and support to include moving materials was readily available. On this occasion - not so much. While I did get help with hitching the trailer to my car, it was apparent that the attendant was not in possession of my contract or needs such as moving pads. I was told that the assistance in hitching a trailer to my car was not part of what this facility did due to liability issues... HUH? While friendly, professional and informative, the service representative did help after some prompting, It seems getting help from a business being paid should be the norm, not an exception. I will now only deal with distributor facilities, even if it is out of the way for me.
James LThey lost my reservation. Then make substitute arrangements. And when I brought the moving truck back they lost the moving truck and then when they found it they charged me double fees. I would not recommend this Uhaul outlet to anyone unless you want to get ripped off.
Audley LU was quited $30.75, but I was charged over $40.
JONNI JIt took a while to get the truck (45 minutes). There was some type of glitch in the system- so not really the fault of the site- but it was inconvenient. The Actual Uhaul site was signed as "closed"- although the detailing shop next door was open. This could have been made a bit clearer in the instructions.
David MI will never rent from this location again. I've also never received a final receipt. The place is impossibly hard to find in the dark and he just not live far at all from his location. He refused to come and help me and wanted to FaceTime me and said. Exactly what good is that going to do? I ended up turning on a road that was not a road and on a sidewalk!! His business needs to be lit at night. People cannot see that place at all. It's difficult even during the day. I'm so disgusted with that place and with U-Haul customer service who never contacted me back. If I have to pay more money to use a different service the next time I will.
