The lot was way too small to move a trailer around. It only had one entrance/exit and somebody had parked a big uhaul in the middle of the lot so when I dropped off our trailer, it made it difficult to find a space to park it and then be able to exit the lot. The lot needs to be considerably bigger and have a better entrance and exit.Nelson L.

i was scheduled at 8 am for pick up, so we were there at 730. nobody came until 9 . i tried calling uhaul 24/7 but was on hold for a solid hour where they kept saying they were with other customers. i dont believe that to be true at 8 am in the morning. either nobody was there to answer the phone or they were sleeping. when the guy got there at 9 i was super pissed off, but he apologized profusely and all was good. he was very nice and found out my reservation was recorded wrong so i got a discount. overall it ended up being a good experience but it was a real drag to sit there for 90 mins. everyone was waiting for us to get started. thank you for your service.Penny A.

We reserved our truck and dolly for an afterhours time slot. The reservation states the truck and equipment would be ready at the given time. My husband and I arrived to pick up our moving truck and there was a UHaul trailer blocking our truck. We had to move the trailer ourselves. We opened the back of the truck and noticed there wasn't a dolly inside. We looked around the outside of the truck, no dolly. We called two different listed phone numbers and left messages letting them know we didn't receive the equipment we requested. Later that day when we returned the truck, the guy at Rideout Motors was on the phone when we entered the store. We handed him the keys and told him the truck didn't have a dolly included. He told us the dolly's were around back and we were supposed to get it ourselves. (There wasn't any information anywhere stating where the dolly would be, and that we needed to get it ourselves). He was very defensive and made it seem like it was our fault. We asked him if he could take it off our bill and he said he would. We got our UHaul bill the next day and the charge for the dolly was still there. He never took it off. I also emailed UHaul twice letting them know we never received the dolly and never got a response.Flavio C.
I was overcharged for bringing the truck 12 hours prior. Yes, I dropped off the truck a little after midnight and left the key in the drop of box, and there was no one, obviously. I am very disappointed for being charged for a something I didn't get. I tried calling the branch and left a voicemail, but nobody bothered calling me back. I am very disappointed with this location. I would not recommend it to my friends and family.Tamir E.
Attendant wanted to charge me for the exterior hardened mud on trailer because it was the same as dust on my car window. He said my photo eas unimportant, the photo on file with UHaul showed no mud. He only relented when I showed photo with date, location, Minneapolis attendant and mud on trailer. Also, nearly bald left tire was not viewed as a problem. Lesson to customers, take own photos and check equipment carefully before renting.DIANE R.
U-Haul moved our location so we had to drive further then originally expected. In addition to that whoever rescheduled our U-Haul did not select 24-7 pick up. We arrived at 7am (our pre scheduled pick up time)only to find that the location was closed with no way to pick up our U-Haul. We called U-Haul to discuss what we should do and we're on hold for over 1 hour. When we finally got in contact with a rep she explained that she would get us in contact with scheduling. She placed us on hold and the call was disconnected. I called back and waited another 30 minutes. Eventually the business opened and we got our U-Haul 2 hours after our original time. This issue cost us hundreds of dollars in additional moving costs as we had to pay our movers to wait in our parking lot. I was very displeased with this experience.GARRETT W.

Owner was unbending in ability to work with me. I was an honest customer who was fooled by an error in the website showing me a different rate than at walk in. Instead of working with me the owner had me come back 3 hours later to not incur an extra day of charge. That gobbled up an extra hour if my time. In the end he charged a $60 cleaning fee probably because there was some mud in the rear from a rainy day on the back ( I swept it out) and also was charge for safe move after deselecting it 6 TIMES! I have rental from uhaul several times with favorable experiences, but this was a new location, new owner .... Bad experience.JONATHAN B.

The man who ran the shop was awful. He was rude. And unprofessional. If I had a business I would not want him to be any part of it. He over charged me for my mileage and charged a 20$ after hours fee even though we retuned it during his operating hours and handed the keys to him. I will never use this mans shop again and I will tell everyone to avoid it.ADRIAN D.
Very pleasant at pickup, but they surprise you with hidden fees at the end. Like â€œafter hours drop off feeâ€ which was not on the original estimate. Call to ask about it and am told they are not obligated to disclose those fees until they are charged. Absolutely shady and unnecessary. Also accused me of lying that the uhaul app wasn't showing their location for quick after hour checkout. Overall super rude and unprofessional. Will never use them again.JENNIFER S.

I was instructed by UHaul to drop off my truck at this location at 8am. When I received my receipt, they had charged me a $20 after hours fee. I would like this money refunded.RORY A.
The biggest issue was the lack of space, the second biggest was lack of clarity. We were driving a 26' truck, and had to navigate a really tight turn to drop it in the lot. There were no obvious spaces to park, so i had to just leave it in the middle in front of a bunch of other U-Haul trucks. The only direction provided on the site was to 'not block any entrances/exits' which we followed, but I'm still left wondering if we did it right nor not.Grant H.

We filled the tank back to a quarter and got charged the gas fee anyway. Since the Uhaul app is so impossible to use, we couldn't check the vehicle in after hours and got a late fee. They eventually waived the late fee but only after pulling teeth with the rep at this location. They wouldn't budge on the gas fee. Really just kind of seems like no one knew what they were talking about when it came to Uhaul â€œpolicies.â€ Super disappointing experience, this location won't have our business again.CONNER T.

When representatives call to tell you about your online booking not being available and then giving you a time frame to pick up the rental it should match. I originally booked this 10' truck for 8am and was then notified next day in the middle of work that it wasn't. I then remained on the line and 30min later was told I'd be able to pick up the vehicle in another location from 11:30am-4:30pm. Not true I had to wait till 3:30 pm to pick up the truck delaying all plans. Very frustrating and inconvenient.CIENAH M.
