I will be filing a formal complaint with the Marketing Company President, Brad Ling, but I can also mention here how utterly terrible this experience was. I’m not one to complain but given that this location has numerous one star reviews referencing the same worker, something needs to change now. I don’t know how U-Haul still has a contract with him. Honestly what you can improve on for next time is fire whoever was working this location when I dropped off the U-Haul (blonde hair, beard, maybe the manager). An incredibly cold, unhelpful, and immature person. I had found a bag with men’s dress shoes in it left under the middle seat of the truck most likely from the previous customer. I brought them in and he said they were gross shoes, he didn’t want them, and that it wasn’t his problem. I’m assuming U-Haul has a protocol for lost items? This is my first experience with U-Haul. I told him I didn’t want them either and I was just returning them. He suggested I throw them away. I asked if he had a garbage bin and he said not one that will fit those shoes. I said are you asking me to go find a trash can for someone else’s shoes? He said yes. I was done arguing with him so I left and walked done a residential neighborhood that was behind the location and threw them in a stranger’s neighborhood garbage can that hadn’t been brought up from the street. I am pretty shocked that U-Haul allows these independent dealers to treat their customers with such hostility, on top of not being helpful in the slightest. And given that this location has been getting 1 star reviews mentioning this same employee for over a year, I am honestly shocked U-Haul has done nothing about it.

Ivan UI had a few issues. The location had no onsite parking, this would have been helpful to know prior. Every time i have rented at other locations they always have parking where we can leave my personal car while i rent the truck. The attendant was doing other work and seemed really annoyed to be doing the uhaul stuff and was really short. He then in conversation was overstating that if i was 5 minutes late for drop off of the unit and attempted to park my self i would be penalized and charged a fee if it was not parked correctly in a lot that didn't really have enough parking. The location was listed as a 24 hour unit and it appeared i could do after hours drop off but after the problems the staff brought up, we ending up not complete the full move and finish the move another day because of the incorrect information about drop off times and fees that were presented by the staff at the location. I will not be renting from here again and more mindful to review the locations in the future prior to renting.
