James BSold is 3 extra days telling us if we didn't use them we wouldn't be charged. We did not use them & were charged anyway. Lack of policy continuity rules between pick up & drop off. Drop off said pickup point should have never charged us instead he should've "given" us those extra days & not charged us. Taking complaint back to pickup point he told us we "shouldn't" be charged for extra days when the billing went through. I was charged & started dispute process through my credit card bank. Do not tolerate cheaters.
GLENN RI purchased extra days rental at point of origin as I understood they were at a reduced rate as opposed to paying for extra days upon drop off. As it turns out I returned the truck a day ahead of schedule and met all of the conditions of my rental agreement ie: clean truck, certainly no damage, mileage within allowance, and as it turns out gasoline in tank in excess of when I possession. I am extremely disappointed that that extra day paid was not eligible for refund which would amount to about $50..00. I can get the arguments made about the truck not being available to be re rented and so on, however the vehicle rented was not at the original yard, and I had to undertake a 50+ mile round trip which consumed over 3hrs. of my time, and received no compensation for your failure to deliver to me. So I'll "cut to the chase" This is FAR less than the kind of customer service one would come to expect from such a prestigious organization whose very name is synonymous with moving. In the light of an $860.00 rental contract, being refused this request at the time of return is nothing less than CHEEZY. Bad decision, and you cannot explain it.

RONALD WGuy told me to just park the vehicle in the street and throw the keys in a yellow box when I used to work for a uhaul location we would check the vehicle in with the customer and do the inspection with the customer so that way any disputes or issues can be easily resolved before the customer leaves and the customer also gets a receipt saying they dropped the vehicle off and everything was ok seems kind of shady charges just pop up days later with no way to dispute them.
TIMOTHY FI reserved a truck but I would have to drive 3 hours to get it even though I reserved at my local U-Haul.
