SALVATORE FStop changing pickup location at the 11th hour. This is the 4th time you've done this to me. I scheduled this at the end of February. There's no excuse for not having what I want at the location I chose. Maybe it's time to explore other options.

EKONDUA AFirst thing is to add a step so you can get in the truck. It took me over 20 minutes of trying to get in the truck and I had to go in the store and ask him to get a step ladder for me to get in the truck. After that when driving the truck it seemed like it never wanted to switch gears. I think it needs a transmission check. And lastly due to me not being able to get in the truck with out assistance I was not able to put gas back in the truck. So I was charged a flat rate. I would have put gas in the truck but I would not have been able to get back into the truck. I also feel that the price I paid for the truck was super high. I had the truck for under 3 hours and under 30 miles.

Laimus PI requested and reserved an appliance dolly and furniture dolly. Both were missing unavailable up on my pickup. This caused more time to look for a hardware store and purchase a dolly. This caused valuable time wasted.

HATTIE BHorrible experience! They were rude and did not assist with hooking up the equipment. On check out, he never came outside and refused to give me a receipt. Never in my lifetime had such a bad experience. He woulden give me a return receipt. Warning, stay away from this location.

ORVIL BThe truck rode and drove very unsafe. It was a shakey ride all day. Did not feel safe in it. Will not rent from this location again.
Gail MThere was mud on the outside of the truck and it was very sandy on the cab floor. Air conditioning worked well and it was an overall easy drive and ride.

The traffic person that called me who took it upon herself to change my pick up location WITHOUT asking nor confirming with me made this that much more stressful. Thankfully I was able to change it back to the 3rd pickup spot i was given. Absolutely ridiculous the hoops I had to jump through. Never again
BRANDY SThe truck that was provided for this rental is in desperate need of repair and should not be rented to anyone else w/out being fixed and serviced. The truck had trash and soda cans and stuff spilt on the floor of the cab. The seal for the windshield was falling off and was put inside the drivers side window to keep it from blowing, the tire pressure light is on and there is an issue w/ the sensor system. There are multiple markings on the truck that do not have "x" stickers on them yet which made my check in take a lot longer b/c I had to take so many pictures of the vehicle. I have rented and returned from this location before, I will again in the future. My review is for the condition of the Truck, not my experience for the location

Julio FThe dolly I was using I had to drive from rinc9n to Waycross ga. The uhaul employee had me take it even though tire was low on air and it had no lights on the trailer anymore. I asked the guy to let me use one of the other ones he had and he said take it or leave it. It only caused a few confusions on the highway because people did not know if I was slowing down turning or merging. Other than that I made it alive

Adam HThis was a gas station, we had originally reserved at a closer location ti us in Savannah, for a smaller truck but demand was very high and we had to go to two other locations searching for trucks. The truck i received was not very clean outside. It did not have a full tank of gas even thought it tis a gas station. The truck has a side damage and the brakes were super loud, squeeky.
Miguel Pthis pick up was a cluster from the beginning. I booked a couple of weeks in advance to pick up on Rt 17 in Savannah. Upon arrival I was informed that I did not have a truck or appliance dolly that I booked. I was then told I could drive 45 minutes to Rincon to pick up my truck...this process took an hour just to find out I had to drive another 45 minutes to pick up a truck and then an hour home to load my furniture...rather than picking up the truck that I ordered at the location I ordered which was on my way home from work.

Pilhee HThis is my second and last time ever utilizing this this U-Haul location. The attendant is unhelpful, has a bad attitude, is unprofessional, unconcerned as to whether he rents you equipment, acts like the customer is a bother, does nothing to help with the rental process. I will drive out of my way to utilize U-Haul before I go to this location again. If this the way all locations are ran, I will make it a point to never recommend nor utilize U-Hauls services again. I should actually receive at a minimum a partial refund for the hassle associated with this transaction and location provided there is any concern by U-Haul as to how U-Haul is represented by this location.
Micheal RWhen we arrived to pick up our U-Haul, we were told the size we rented was not available. I happen to see that a truck a little bit larger had just been returned and asked if we could rent that. Originally, he replied that we couldn’t because the truck needed to be serviced, something to do with the shocks. He asked us to step aside and left to see if there were any other trucks on the lot that were available. He came back a many, many minutes later with the keys to the same truck that he originally indicated needed serviced and handed them to us. I asked him if we needed to wait for them to service the truck, he said no that everything was fine. We then proceeded to the truck where we noticed that the rim had been damaged. We never received our verification link and we were in a hurry so we proceeded to drive the truck off the lot. Our fault there. We should have taken a picture of the damage, but we assumed since the attendant told us, everything was fine with the truck, they were already aware. apparently that was not the case. Garner North Carolina U-Haul knew that they gave us a damaged truck and stuck us with those damages. When we get to the drop off location in Rincon, attendant was extremely unprofessional and RUDE. The odometer was set to display mileage in km. He didn’t understand or just wasn’t willing to convert km to miles and tried to tell me I was over 30k miles over the allotted amount. Common sense should have told him that is impossible for a three day rental. When my husband and I went back out to the truck and tried to change the reading settings to miles we could not, so we went online and looked up the conversion. When we attempted to re enter the establishment the attendant had locked the door and placed a “be right back sign” in the window??? How rude was that when we hadn’t even completed the transaction. We waited around for a few minutes and when he didn’t return, we just left the key in the dropbox. I called the Garner pick up location to advise them of the situation and advise them I had left my key on the Dropbox as I was not able to re-enter the establishment to complete my transaction. The service rep asks me “ and what do you want me to do about it” before transferring me over to their customer service line. Again Rude!!! Customer service places a call to the regional manager, and told me to just leave the keys. The regional manager would be around in the morning to convert the odometer reading and complete the transaction. All around bad experience I will never rent from them again and I don’t recommend anyone else to do business with this shady establishment. They knew they gave us a damaged vehicle. Our fault for being in a hurry and assuming they knew of the rim damage since they mentioned the truck having to be serviced. As long as the had us waiting we again assumed they were doing their due diligence in looking over the vehicle to determine if it was in good enough condition to drive. Thus coming back and telling us we were good to rent the vehicle. But final decision has been communicated that either I be charged with the damage or be charged with endangering the lives of others for driving a vehicle with a faulty rim. Way to pass off the accountability of renting out a faulty vehicle.
Marti GGentleman running the gas station asked me to back up trailer and then move U-Haul, did not offer any assistance in guiding or backing up of U-Haul. Really got paid by you guys to do absolutely nothing not be of help.
Joshua YThe truck did great but the bumps of I-16 caused the passenger side sun visor to shake loose. It had been held together by an additional screw. I shared that information when I dropped it off.
Tom SDon't use this location. The truck had an oil light on and I was told the only arrangement they can give is to cancel my reservation and I could go on the website and look for another truck at another location. I was concerned about the oil light and asked what happens if I break down then call Roadside assistance. Then the return of the truck was a different person and his responses take a picture of the mileage and gas level. He never checked the truck himself. When I got the truck it had a quarter of tank, I brought it back with just more than a quarter of a tank. The vendor tried to tell me I had to put gas in it. Mind you the location I rented this from on website is a GAS STATION. Not to mention the truck was the most ragged out junk truck in the fleet with over 160k miles on it. Uhaul and it's vendors have really went downhill. Absolutely worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul. Do any seem like their vendors care about their equipment anymore. If I ever have to move again I'll be seeking other vendors like Penske or Enterprise. Uhaul has been very disappointing. Before people judge and make comments like I never should have accepted the truck, when you are on a deadline and getting another truck is almost impossible, you take the truck. Trust me though it won't happen again with this company!!!
Yujean FDidn't check in my return till nearly 24 hours later after I contacted uhaul to see if they showed it returned after receiving no email saying it had been returned. Couldn't be bothered to do the return when I was there.

LYLE PThis was one of the worst experiences I have had with U-Haul from beginning to end. The person at the location did not help us with the trailer. She only came out of the store once and that was to take photos. I had to get the are manager to come and ensure the equipment was connected correctly. He arrived earlier than we discussed and still wasn’t able to ensure my vehicle was properly loaded.
