WENDI FThe truck had not been cleaned on the inside. Before I could place my furniture inside the truck, I needed to sweep out all of the debris and dust that had accumulated from prior uses. It was a little disappointing because I had to travel further out to pick up this size u-haul because the location I originally reserved on at 1265 E Benson Hwy, Tucson, AZ 85713 notified me that the vehicle I reserved had been returned in poor condition. Although I recognized that it was beyond my control, I wasn't anticipating to pick up a dirty truck 13 miles away. The average rating is solely based on the condition of the U-haul I left in. I had no issue with the gentlemen who helped me when checking in. He was kind, polite and provided excellent customer service.

BRETT SYour employee was helpful and checked me in. I was surprised when he told me I had gone over the allotted mileage? The destination address was about 3 miles from your location and I didn’t go anywhere else? Did I get the correct allotted mileage?

Mark RThey did not have the equipment needed - and I had to go to another location to get the appliance dolly I needed. WORSE.... I had to pay the mileage on the truck to go the 20 Miles OUT of the way to pick up the needed dolly. This was after I was shuffled from the location I thought I'd was picking up the reserved truck.... to a second location.. I have no idea how the reservation was even changed to the second location. It was VERY frustrating as I only needed the truck to transport a fridge. for about an hour..... but it was and added hour by the time I got the needed truck from the second location - then had to go to the 3'd one for the appliance dolly. I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF UHAUL.... and felt like I was the one having tro put all the rental needs together. The INDICIDUAL at this location was as helpful as he could be.... but could not do anything. Overall rating above is based on the equipment reserved NOT being ready - or the location I reserved it at....and then chasing about to get it. Horrible.

GUILLERMO BI made this rental almost a month in advance. Was switched to this location a day before I flew into town to pick up the truck and trailer. I originally reserved the truck and trailer from a U-Haul location that was located within walking distance of the airport. Had to spend $50 on a cab to get to the new location only to see a sign on the door 'Closed Today'. Locked office. I had to call U-Haul to get me the code to get the keys to the truck. The trailer I rented was not hooked up. U-Haul representatives I spoke to offered no alternatives and I was forced to hook it up myself. Since the pig-tail for the brake lights was in the closed office I had to drive almost 500 miles with no brake lights on the trailer. Additionally, the 5 dozen moving blankets I paid for was also not in the truck. I am amazed that U-Haul would have a customer hook up a trailer by themselves.

The kindness they showed my family and I goes a long way especially in stressful situations, as we all know moving is awful and expensive! So the guy at the S rita rd location called me and said that he has the truck ready and set up with the dolly in it and everything when i get there in the AM i checked the truck and no dolly i called him when they open and he said he called me and spoke to me and said that they dont have any dollys which is bullshit so what ever i went to homedepot and rented one so i return the truck and filled with the same gas that they gave it to me and they charge me an extra $9 for what i dont know uhal should take the buisness away i will never recommend this location and i also will make a video on my youtube and instagram about this

DEREK RMy trailer fell off hitch while driving. I also asked on the website for Dolly and I got a furniture dolly which did not want. Overall i feel like it was horrible, i will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!!
Francisca AStaff member was great, motorcycle trailer was very aged, at least one broken tie down. Ramp was only able to be latched in the lower position. This trailer needs to be retired not repaired.

LEVI DVehicle had 1/4 tank of fuel on pickup, was sufficient but limiting. Had requested / reserved furniture pads well prior to rental date and NONE were available on day of rental. The vehicle air conditioning system was inoperative.... temperatures here were 90-100 all day long. Agent was efficient and timely with the rental process (all via email).

Allan FWas the worst trip ever thanks to you. All the year is 2024 and I got a U-Haul without cruise control so I have to drive almost 1400 miles without cruise and I paid $1300 to rent. The damn U-Haul this is the absolute joke and if I do not get a Rebate or some reimbursement, I will never rent a U-Haul again. What a joke.

Ceasar LRep connected the trailer for me. He had to twist safety chains so that they wouldn’t drag on the ground, but this didn’t take into account how load weight affects ride height. Once the trailer was loaded, the chains dragged on the ground and one chain broke within the first hundred miles. After the total 1100 mi trip, the other chain looked like it was ready to disintegrate too. The agent who checked the trailer in commented the deck wasn’t level because the guy that hooked it up should’ve reversed the ball so it was at the top of the receiver and not the bottom. Leveling the deck would ensure proper clearance between the chain and the asphalt.

Regina CMy only serious disappointment was that the motorcycle trailer I rented online/over the phone was not what I ended up getting at the facility. The motorcycle trailer at the facility looked about 40 years old and has a max speed limit of 45mph. It got the job done but it's appearance did not inspire confidence and made for an extra long day.

ERIC KThis is not my scheduled drop off, I was dropping off at green valley, az. You r people called and told me they changed my location, not good. Also happened when picking up trailer, was scheduled to pick up on woodmen, colorado springs, get there oh you've been changed and no one called to inform me, I would not ever recommend uhaul to anyone...
Patti SPlease do not change order to “self-serve” after reservation is made. Office was supposed to be open until 2pm on day of rental. That being said, once account was set up, self-serve process was very user-friendly and easy to accomplish.

Rick GThere was a cost discrepancy from my online reservation to what I actually paid at this location. The app had a price quote of $74.99 and what I actually paid at the location was $104.37. The local agent, Cesar, notified “Traffic Team” via phone which in turn had me email my reservation on the app and the receipt of what I paid at the location. Upon return of the trailer, I asked the local agent, Cesar, if he’s heard any feedback on the issue. He had not so he gave me the local number to call (520-829-5112) to follow up myself. The agent on the phone tried to tell me that I was charged extra possibly because of the time of pick up, stating I was 10 minutes early, so the system was charging me extra, which didn’t make sense. I told her I was not charged an extra day, but the daily rate and the cost of the Safe Tow insurance were different from what was on the UHaul app versus what they charge locally. I am looking for a refund of the difference. If you need copies of the documentation, please let me know.
VICTOR VI was charged for 3 days on my rental and I only had it 24hrs. They also said I never returned the trailer, but I did on mother's day around 345pm. It didn't appear that they were open. However, I never heard back on whether or not they found the trailer where I left it. This location has cameras everywhere and agIn they charged me 3 days for a one day rental.
