BRADLEY BReservation agreed on had no insurance coverage, receipt had added coverage that we did not see at time of departure. Thankfully we caught this and asked for a refund.

CAROL MThe trailer i booked online for a noon pickup was out of commission due to broken leaf springs. U-Haul had not taken it out of service, so I had to drive 20 miles to another location to pick up a trailer there, so I lost a few hours due to all of those logistics. I had rented the trailer for two days, and brought it back before the scheduled time. My card was charged 69.00 for the two day rental, but the trailer was not entered into the U-Haul system as being returned until 3 days later, so my card was charged another 174.00 for the days that it was not back in the system. I informed the local U-Haul representative about the overcharge, and they promptly began the refund process from their end. Still, it has taken about ten days to see the refund in my bank. My bank shows it as incoming, but it hasn't posted to my account yet. At least it's there, but it should not have happened in the first place. As for the local U-Haul representatives, I can't say enough about they handled the whole matter. Both Will and Blake did what they could to correct matters in a timely manner as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure this was an isolated incident, but I would recommend that vehicles and trailers are logged in and out of the U-Haul system as promptly as possible in order to avoid further issues such as this. I'll be back again when the rental need arises. Thank you.
Todd DPerfect size for my UTV, trailer had straw and dry manure in the front but overall did the job, thanks, lost a bearing and axle in my own and renting yours saved the trip. Thank you

Rodger BTook about 50mins to get my U-Haul. Didn’t have the smallest one I had reserved so I got a bigger one for the same price. I would’ve been happy about this had I not purposely reserved the smallest one because I never drove in a city before!

Fabian JWhen a guest reserves a U-Haul 2 weeks ahead of time make sure the guest can pickup at that location. Don't call 3 day's ahead of pickup date and make guest drive 90 minutes one way then back just to get the U-Haul. If that does happen U-Haul should be responsible to transfer the U-Haul to the right pickup location and not make the guest do it.
JASON CLights on the trailer did not work. They worked on them for some time, got them working and they quite 100 miles into the trip. I mentioned this on Facebook and will tell everyone to stay away from U-Haul

Doug RI felt the customer service and location was great. My biggest comment is the lock situation. We picked up after hours. The mobile pick-up process was straight forward and easy but we spent 20 minutes attempting to get the lock opened. The lock was very touchy and despite having the right code, it still didn't opened and the only advice the UHaul Help Desk gave was to shake it until it opens. It was immensely frustrating and I'd love to see new locks for the trucks!

David MI reserved my u-haul online. When I sent my husband to pick it up the reservation had been changed. I had rejected the additional insurance but it was added when we went to pick it up which made it $25 extra. The person who usually does u-haul was gone so we dealt with a person that knew nothing about it. She ended up facetiming the person that was gone. The rental drop off location refunded us the $25

Caleb GWas to pick up the trailer at 9 AM and the representative showed up at 9:40 with no explanation or apology for being late. We also had our trailer upgraded (not our desire) and had to pay for it, even though UHaul said the upgrade was at no extra charge.
Robert SHave the reservation ready to go at the time indicated. It would be helpful having someone working that knows what they are doing. My reservation was at 9:15, didn't get out of there until 9:45a. Also, make sure website is updated that there are no appliance dollys. I was informed of this at pickup and had to try to find one last minute.

faith bI was expecting this company to be more professional. I didnt need a big truck to move 10 small boxes across the country my trip took me 3 days when it should had only taken 2. Because of the weight distribution the truck was slower and i couldnt make it to my destination on time. I wish I had a van or smaller truck for my move but because you guys only allow certain ones I had to use the 10-foot truck for my move because you didn't allow other options. I wish there was a way I could get a slight refund for not fully using the truck. I will never be using this company ever again
Heather DI give the rating I did based on the individual experience that I had with this UHAUL rental. With this experience, the man who was supposed to be helping me with picking up my rental was literally clueless about what he was doing! The truck I had ordered was there but the guy had nothing ready and it took nearly an hour for me to leave with my truck. During this hour of time, the guy repeatedly threw his hands up and yelled "I don't know!" and slammed his hands on his desk. In the end, he handed me the keys to the truck and said, "I don't know, I HOPE everything is right but here you go!" A separate experience at the same location (the rental was under my wife's name) with a different guy was a night and day difference! This guy knew what he was doing, had everything ready to go when I walked in the door and had me on my way in about 5 minutes! I should definitely be compensated for my first experience and would appreciate being contacted regarding this.
