the interior windows were a mess. Clearly te previous renter had a dog as wet doge nose prints were on every window, including the windscreen. Makes me wonder if the interior was cleaned at all

Checkout was easy and convenient. First time doing online reservation and check in. It was quick and easy.

The location itself was average. The younger gentleman that checked me in was nice, the older gentleman didn't seem like he wanted to deal with people. The exterior of the truck was filthy and the older gentleman had to squeegee the windshield. The windshield interior was spotted and dirty. The interior had cigarette ash piles all over the steering column which tells me no one wiped down the truck after the last use. It made me wonder what tweeker used the truck before me. That seems irresponsible in COVID 19 times. I had to ask to have the cab wiped down. This was after I was sent the link to verify the truck condition. The windshield had a chip, small enough to not be immediately noticeable. When I checked the truck out, the photos I received on my phone to verify damage were taken from twenty feet away. How, on my phone, am I able to tell if there is a chip in the windshield. Luckily I got the safe trip coverage, otherwise they would have charged me the $148 they claim it will cost to fix the chip. If it wasn't for the safe trip coverage, I would have thrown a huge complaint at the time I turned the truck in. I have used equipment from the Lake Forest Olive St. location numerous times, I will never go back to the Arctic location again. I am also disappointed in the reservation system. I requested a 26 foot truck and the reservation system told me I was good. I later got a call there was no 26 foot truck available. Why didn't the system tell me that to begin with? I have always had good experiences with U-Haul before, this time was disappointing.

The van was clean LOOKING, the exterior and cab area were actually clean. The cargo area LOOKED clean but the rubber mat was coated with oil and was so slick and slippery that I almost fell when I first stepped into it. Fortunately for me I had a large blanket that I was able to put down that covered the entire back area so none of my daughter's furniture was damaged by the oil.

Was 2 hours late, you cancelled my reservation even though it's 24/7 phone pickup. Took another 3 hours waiting in uhaul parking lot to get truck. Payed for a dolly, it wasn't there. Asked to have dolly removed from the bill, charged me anyway.

Have customer send the registration information in the initial reservation. Customer is already pulling payment method from their wallet to get information. Make them send the information that is required down the line such as front and back end picture of the ID as well as front facing picture of the driver.

I tried to utilize the Uhaul automated return system for an after hours return and it would not recognize that my Iphone was at the location. The personnel at the location had warned me that the system had issues with Iphone compatibility and said that as long as I attempted to utilize the system, they would know it and waive the penalty fee for not completing the return (which they did). It did however raise concerns for me until I received the emailed invoice the next day.

I said not applicable because the U-Haul came in 20 minutes later I was driving out with it and had not been clean, the windows are very dirty but that was okay. It was not their fault. It did have a couple issues that I bought up when I returned it here in Woodland Park that hopefully will be taken care of.

RJM on Arctic Ocean Drive was extremely courteous and helpful, and seemed very efficient in their actions. The location was not the nearest for me, but I intentionally used RJM because of the negative comments I read about other locations. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Only two annoying things, I was charged for 2 utility dollies even though only 1 was in the truck, and also I returned the truck after hours so had to use a link by text to check in the truck but the link was not working properly so I took a photo just in case and had to call the location and leave a voicemail to let them know I turned it in.

Charged $45 for gas. Rental was taken with 1/4 tank and I left it with the same amount. I have pictures. On top of this i was charged 323 and then another charge for 170? Very unclear why, seems like I am being nickel and dime for everything.
