Ramp was broken and fell off its track When we pulled it out. This delayed the move tremendously. Had to pay for an additional day and lift the heavy ramp into the box since it would not go back in.

BRANDAN MTried charging me for extra day. Rented at 4:30pm and dropped off at 12:30 pm the next day. He stated I told him I would drop off at 11:30 am which was incorrect. He also tried getting me to add more gas than what was in there - which is another scam to overcharge people. Stay away from this guy. Have pics to back it all up too

JAMES PIt is a liquor store gas station that was 25 miles from where I wanted to pick up the truck. I rented an appliance dolly with my order but they didn't have one. So I accepted a furniture dolly instead and then the truck didn't have a dolly. I had to go to another uhaul in Dekalb to rent an appliance dolly for the day. It was a hassle and inconvenience on an already hectic moving day that was fraught with logistics. This is the 3rd rental I have had this year that equipment wasn't provided as requested in my reservation. I am begonning to think Uhaul is usi g patrons to move their equipment for them ad the customers inconvenience.

JERMIH EAll the equipment (appliance dolly) that I reserved was unavailable and we were not notified until we came to pick up. Had to drive out of the way to pick up the appliance dolly putting an extra 16 miles on to the mileage we had to pay. And no offer of reimbursement of mileage, just a "oh well, you want it pay the extra mileage" is what we were told. The ramp gave us problems but we figured it out once it completely came out and we had to put back in so it wasn't inserted crooked. We swept out the truck before returning and charged a cleaning fee. No lights in the truck and it was dark so very hard to see what I was doing. Upon return, the girl tried to process a different credit card to pay the balance and she said it denied but there was 3 charges on my statement after leaving, I'm hoping it corrects today, otherwise they took additional money from us. Not a good experience.

FRED SI am very upset as this vehicle ended up having no AC on a very hot day! Was taking my son back to school and the van only blew warm air! I deserve a full refund but was only given 43.00 . Very ridiculous! The lady was fine and helped but told me this vehicle just came out of being checked!!! What! Very angry!!! Lucky I didn't pass out and crash because of how hot it was!

Michael CI could not figure out how to move the side mirrors. My ignorance, but a quick overview of a new vehicle would have helped. Newer van and very thankful that it was in perfect running condition.
DAVID jVan was clean, but needed serviced. The stabilitytrak light was on when I picked it up. Steering wheel is off 45° so the turn signal won't turn off. It's off so much that the cruise control buttons were at the bottom of the steering wheel.
lisa pThe lady at the pickup counter was absolutely excellent! The van had a bit less fuel than it was supposed to at pickup and the bumper had a small dent. Both items were addressed properly by the attendant. Steering wheel on the van was miss-aligned, but still functioned for my purpose.

Douglas KI was charged an extra day's rental because the pick up location was closed and was told that I couldnt return the equiptment when I wanted to. Customer service was closed also. I understand that it was the holiday but I was charged an extra day and kept the equiptment secure during this time. Also, I never got a responce feom when I filed a dispute.

Rod MThe location was great. But, the maintenance on the 26' truck by Uhaul was negligent. The a/c on the climate control was not working. Having no a/c on a hot summer day is not a good thing to have in a rental truck. The previous body damage on the truck is a poor corporate image by Uhaul. It says 'We don't care how our company (or equipment) appears. We just want your money.' Next time, we'll spend more money at Ryder for a better looking, and better maintained vehicle.
WalterKelly CHave someone available to help return the trailer to its parking place. The trailer hitch is very heavy. A female or older person would not be able to lift the tongue from the hitch.
Stephen WTruck had an exhaust leak. Very loud inside cab. App froze up when picking u p truck. Had to do an in person pickup. App got stuck on finding location on return.

catherine bEverything went good with this rental except the app did not work to return truck. Luckily they were open and was able to do a in person return.
Curtis WThe back of the truck was very dirty. Dirt, sand, broken glass, plumbing fitting, and a marker. I had to sweep it out before I used it. Considering I rented this same truck 5 days prior and not only swept it but washed it out due to an oil spill, It should have been pretty clean. The sticker on the truck states there will be a $25 dollars cleaning fee if the truck is returned dirty. Maybe I should get a $25 credit for cleaning up after the previous renter. Not the location's fault, but when we returned the truck after hours, the app would not work. Had to live chat with U-Haul and send them pictures of the miles and fuel gauge. Spent at least 45 minutes trying to get the truck returned at midnight. The next morning, I received the receipt and was charged $73 for fuel even though I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel. Another 30 minutes on live chat to get it refunded. Good thing I had taken pictures of the fuel gauge when I picked up the truck and returned it.

FREDERICK SNothing that this location did wrong, they are always very nice and I keep coming back, but the check in process is too slow, if I reserve on the app I feel like it should be that I show up, show my ID and leave, not redo everything I did online. Just an idea

tina sprovide a phone number for the location. The location uses two different lots. I went to the wrong building at first. I noticed to U-Haul charges on my account. One for $67 and another $62. Why am I being charged extra when I was initially charged $67?
Michael CTruck had some exterior damage, inside cab was dirty and back of truck was dirty. Overall it served its purpose for an in town move.
Zachary Mmy only issue with U haul and it is not this location is that I never seem to be able to pick up the truck where I requested pick up. Whether I've needed a truck in Louisville or Rockford I can always guarantee that the pick up location that I requested will not be the place where i pick it up at. Typically it almost always is a good distance away from where I requested. Yes you guys give me the additional miles, but that does not make up for the additional time lost having to drive a good distance to pick up the truck and return to begin moving. VERY FRUSTRATING
