Didn’t have a dolly available was not very helpful. Had to wait over 45 minutes to even get the trailer would never rent from them again.

I reserved a 26 foot rental truck and toy hauler. I was quoted $1,505 for the truck rental. Upon picking up the rental truck, the reservation showed a cost of $2,200. It took over 1.5 hours of my time at the pick up location to correct this error. Secondly, when returning the truck and toy hauler to the drop off location printed on my rental agreement, we were told that they could NOT accommodate a 26 foot truck nor the toy hauler. We were then given a second location in South Carolina for the truck and toy hauler return. After driving another 30 minutes to this second location, we were, once again, told that his second location could NOT accommodate neither a 26 foot truck nor the toy hauler. We were then told to drive to a THIRD location!!! By the time we arrived at the third location, the facility was closed. We tried to open the return link that Uhaul provided for us, and we received the message that the link was NOT working. Due to all the extra driving, we had to stop at a second gas station to put more fuel in the gas tank. We did finally leave the trucks (my husband had the same experience with the 26 foot truck that he rented Robert Brown) and the toy hauler at this third location. An employee who was simply moving vehicles around, after hours, said we should put the keys in the drop box and that he would check in the two 26 foot trucks and the toy hauler. I believe he did and that is the ONLY reason I received a confirmation return receipt today. This entire experience was SO needlessly frustrating and we have another truck and two trailers reserved with Uhaul from Illinois to South Carolina, that I am serious considering CANCELING. The location seemed like a liquor store with a gas station and a U-Haul location. When I got to the truck, the driver's window was open about3 inches and the seat was wet due to rain coming through the open window. One instruction was to fill the gas tank after I was done. But I don't think the tank was full when I started. I drove about 8-9 miles and when I went to fill the tank, I stopped after filling almost 3 gallons. No way could it have taken 3 gallons to drive in town for only 8i-9 miles. I did not idle the engine while loading or unloading. I parked the truck and shut it off each time. The transmission seemed to be hesitant to shift causing the engine to rev high. Going 30 mph in town on a flat street the engine tach showed about 2500 rpm.

I placed my reservation for a 15 foot truck in late June for a August rental. It was made at a uhaul location approximately 3 miles from my home. They are one of 4-5 uhaul locations within 3-7 miles from my home. On the day of my pickup, I was informed that I could pick up my rental truck in Rochelle, a town 30 miles from my home. There is a serious problem with your business model

I was required to unhook the trailer myself and located it by hand in the required location. Being elderly it was challenging.

They did not have the correct sized truck we reserved, nor did they have the appliance dolly we reserved. They did give us a regular dolly but one of the welds was broken at the base.

Ramp was broken and fell off its track When we pulled it out. This delayed the move tremendously. Had to pay for an additional day and lift the heavy ramp into the box since it would not go back in.

Equipment was in top notch shape, clean, all lights worked. Truck ran great plenty of power even hauling the car transport! These guys at the Rochelle Clark were ready for me when I arrived and very friendly and helpful with all my questions!

Tried charging me for extra day. Rented at 4:30pm and dropped off at 12:30 pm the next day. He stated I told him I would drop off at 11:30 am which was incorrect. He also tried getting me to add more gas than what was in there - which is another scam to overcharge people. Stay away from this guy. Have pics to back it all up too

It is a liquor store gas station that was 25 miles from where I wanted to pick up the truck. I rented an appliance dolly with my order but they didn't have one. So I accepted a furniture dolly instead and then the truck didn't have a dolly. I had to go to another uhaul in Dekalb to rent an appliance dolly for the day. It was a hassle and inconvenience on an already hectic moving day that was fraught with logistics. This is the 3rd rental I have had this year that equipment wasn't provided as requested in my reservation. I am begonning to think Uhaul is usi g patrons to move their equipment for them ad the customers inconvenience.

All the equipment (appliance dolly) that I reserved was unavailable and we were not notified until we came to pick up. Had to drive out of the way to pick up the appliance dolly putting an extra 16 miles on to the mileage we had to pay. And no offer of reimbursement of mileage, just a "oh well, you want it pay the extra mileage" is what we were told. The ramp gave us problems but we figured it out once it completely came out and we had to put back in so it wasn't inserted crooked. We swept out the truck before returning and charged a cleaning fee. No lights in the truck and it was dark so very hard to see what I was doing. Upon return, the girl tried to process a different credit card to pay the balance and she said it denied but there was 3 charges on my statement after leaving, I'm hoping it corrects today, otherwise they took additional money from us. Not a good experience.

I am very upset as this vehicle ended up having no AC on a very hot day! Was taking my son back to school and the van only blew warm air! I deserve a full refund but was only given 43.00 . Very ridiculous! The lady was fine and helped but told me this vehicle just came out of being checked!!! What! Very angry!!! Lucky I didn't pass out and crash because of how hot it was!

I could not figure out how to move the side mirrors. My ignorance, but a quick overview of a new vehicle would have helped. Newer van and very thankful that it was in perfect running condition.

Van was clean, but needed serviced. The stabilitytrak light was on when I picked it up. Steering wheel is off 45° so the turn signal won't turn off. It's off so much that the cruise control buttons were at the bottom of the steering wheel.

The lady at the pickup counter was absolutely excellent! The van had a bit less fuel than it was supposed to at pickup and the bumper had a small dent. Both items were addressed properly by the attendant. Steering wheel on the van was miss-aligned, but still functioned for my purpose.

I was charged an extra day's rental because the pick up location was closed and was told that I couldnt return the equiptment when I wanted to. Customer service was closed also. I understand that it was the holiday but I was charged an extra day and kept the equiptment secure during this time. Also, I never got a responce feom when I filed a dispute.
