I would definitely rent from there again. Everything was great EXCEPT one thing. The person (male) who had me do the final signing asked me what time I would return. I said I wasn't sure. He said, "let's put 4 PM." I knew I wouldn't be back by then. He said, "OK, I'll put 6 PM." I rented it at 7 AM so I thought I had until the next day at 7 AM. I did not realize that the 6 PM time was an actual commitment of return on my part - I thought it was an approximate return time. The man should have been clear that I could be charged for another day if I didn't return the trailer in time. Fortunately, I made it and was not charged. Other than that, everything was great and I would rent again.WILLIAM W.

When I picked the truck at this location. The interior stunk of cigarettes and it was filthy. Mud on the floors, cup holders with sticky residue. I shared my concerns with the attendant here (gas station) he wasn't helpful at all. I just wanted to get on my way. Got home and cleaned and sanitized the interior. Left the windows open for several hours and it didn't help at all. Made for an awful drive from Dekalb, Illinois to Dayton, Ohio. Ref Confirmation # 84728266.David M.

The checkout process took WAY TOO LONG - over 40 minutes. The gentleman was very nice and respectful but this took forever. The entire gas station was crammed with Weed products and bongs, I'd choose not to go back.BENJAMIN W.

This is the second UHaul we rented. The first was in excellent shape but this one had not been cleaned. There was a mask left in the cab and a strong smoke smell. I don't blame the Rochelle Clark station but I do blame the place the truck originally came from.ALBERTA H.
The online reservation system switched the pickup location to a site 25 miles away. Availability issues I understand but the system should inform me of the switch before I agree and explain why the selected location is not available. Very confusing and frustrating. Make sure you have the accessories for moving such as furniture dollies, boxes, moving blankets other than that everything was fineShawn H.
Again, your software is horrible. Took over another hour to finally get a copy of my invoice that showed no balance. Asked for a copy of my original contract since I had no idea what I was charged. System doesn't allow. Have to obtain from original lender. That's a joke. I would have got one if they were able to print. In the future I will look for another company to lease.Steve W.

I have sent some emails but get automated responses. I wouldn't let a pig ride with me in the condition of the cab or truck when I picked it up! I've used the 26' trucks in the past that worked well but what I got was a old beat up, low tread AND 2 1/2 quart low of oil that I embarked on a 1700 mile journey over 3 mountain passes. Then they charged me $30 cleaning charge when I spent close to an hour sweeping and cleaning a sticky mess when I picked up.Kenn H.
I was unable to pick up the Uhaul until almost 1030am (previous customer forgot to drop off keys) and was required to have the Uhaul returned by 330pm but was still charged for 8 hours. The uhaul was dirty and smelled like marijuana. Will not use again.Caryn S.

My reservation was originally set for the town to which I was moving. They, however, changed the location to this location (roughly 20 miles away). I was not reimbursed for the extra miles that were incurred due to the site's inaccuracy of what was available. I had to pay for the extra 40 miles because the van had to be returned to this location. This occurred to me the last time I used UHaul to move, however, last time I was given 50 free miles. I don't know whether this is a corporate issue or a location issue, but either way, it needs to be resolved.Alec D.

The representative tried to ding me on some damage that was on the bumper of the vehicle. It was a patch of chipped and scuffed bumper that was there. He asked me if I damaged it. I was speechless that he would ask. Luckily the representative did not charge me. The only reason I would recommend this location because it's the only one is Rochelle IL.Roy C.

scheduled a 27 foot truck, got a 17 foot truck because we had no other choice. the man was so foreign we could hardly understand him!! I originally schedule 27 foot truck with a girl and this girl was there when we dropped truck off and she said U Haul does this and then she has to answer to people, when in fact it was her I originally scheduled truck with. The foreign man 'discount' the mileage, but I felt like it was very unfair to be charged for 3 trips all because they didn't have the correct size truck that was originally scheduled for me!lisa O.

The third-party gas station attendant was very helpful and was able to get me my truck relatively smoothly; however, even though I confirmed with U-Haul the day before that I'd be able to do the online pickup, when I signed in to pick up my truck, it said I did not have any equipment available. The District Manager's phone number was listed as "24 hour service" and he didn't pick up the phone when I called, nor did he ever return my call. Very frustrating, but not the third party's fault.Laura M.

When somebody makes a reservation don't have a middle man call to see if you need a U-Haul when you already have one because it cost me a 26-footer then I had to use a 17-footer I already had a reservation with cart gas station to Rochelle if they wanted to talk to me they should have called not somebody else call me cuz I thought it was somebody just trying to find out if I needed a uhaul when I already had it reserved. Then they gave it away keep the middle man's mouth shut and then it would have never happened. As far as I'm concerned you will haul will never get my business again and I will tell everybody not to get U-HaulTHOMS R.
