I used U-haul service for the first time and it was great.but I didn’t know about the charges system. U-haul charged me $71 before even I drive the car. So , I drove the car , finished the task and brought it back. Then U-haul charged me &56.25 after mileage and other stuff calculation. So when will U-haul reimburse me with 15.36 $. ?

PATRICK SThey charged me an extra $15 for something called “Safemove” which I declined in the website and they never asked me if I wanted it. Nice people at this location. I enjoyed them. And they prepped everything quite well but your survey doesn’t give me a place to give them credit for what they did well, But when you charge the customer without his knowledge you simply cannot be doing a good job taking care of customer needs. U-Haul can be kind of sketchy at times has been my experience.. If anybody reads this , will my $15 be refunded or is corporate the same as the local dealer?
Andrew CThe truck I had the check engine light was on made me a little concerned and I reserved it for 24 hours but when I got there the person behind the counter told me that they're closed on Sundays and they close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday so I had to return it before then or get charged and somehow my 1995 reservation turned into a $55 trip but okay

PATRICK SDidn’t tell me the weekends they would be closed at this location, got stuck with the truck for a whole day because gates to rerun it were closed. Charged me extra fees for something that’s not my fault. Definitely didn’t like this experience and have never experienced this kind of thing before with Uhal.
ZEINAB AWas rushed at the drop off, had to ask a few times if everything was good to which I only got a thumbs up. No mention of any issues and person rushed inside and said we were good. To my suprise I received the email receipt and see they charged us for 2 gallons of gas. Even though I filled it back up to the half way mark as asked.

TROY SMake sure customers know about replenishing the gas. Your service was very convenient. Your team members were understanding, even though I wasn't at my best. I was moving my mother's belongings after she passed away a few days before, and I'd never driven a truck that big so I was quite nervous. Everything worked out well, and I appreciate your team's help. .

DANIELLE WThis trailer we rented had a tire separation (bulging area) issue on 1 tire, we had to have someone come change the tire before we even started loading it. Then getting on the road noticed another tire on the opposite side doing the same thing. Had to drive under 45mph from Kent Washington to Spokane! Making a 4.5 hour drive more like a 7 hr drive. I tried calling the location early in the morning only to be hung up on by the lady who answered when I asked if this is Rock Automotive. They need to do safety tire inspections on all equipment!! Would never recommend this place for renting !!

Mory DI took a picture of the gas and I put $20 in gas and I told the person that I put $20 and he still charged me for more gas and I only draw 40 miles. I don’t think a truck would take for 40 miles almost 5 gallons of gas, so that’s pretty much stealing money from customers

Charlie ADespite reserving a truck for just one day through the app, I was informed upon arrival at the counter that I needed to rent it for two days due to the business closing the next day. This unexpected change in rental duration was frustrating and inconvenient, leaving me with no choice but to extend the rental period. If I had known in advance that I needed the truck for two days, I could have attempted to borrow from a different location. However, when I called another branch from the counter, I was informed that there were no trucks available, leaving me with no alternative but to borrow for two days." Moreover, the moving supplies I had reserved were not provided when borrowing the truck. I noticed this at the moving site and attempted to rectify the issue by contacting via phone and leaving voicemails during business hours, but to no avail. The lack of response was deeply disappointing and added to the frustration of the situation. When I called corporate customer service about the issue, I was assured that the charges for the missing equipment would be removed from my bill upon returning the truck. However, upon returning the truck, no action was taken, and I was instead met with blame for not explicitly requesting the equipment when I borrowed the truck. The issue remains unresolved, and I am left feeling dissatisfied with the level of service provided by U-Haul. The lack of accountability and failure to address customer concerns in a timely manner are significant shortcomings that need to be addressed by the company. Overall, my experience with U-Haul rental was disappointing and has left me hesitant to use their services in the future.
Hide MThe trailer we rented was fine. The service at this location is below average. We booked a trailer for a 6 hour window online. Less than an hour before we were scheduled to pick it up, the attendant called to tell us we had to turn in before 5 instead, or be charged for 2 days because they're closed on Sunday! Luckily we made that work, but he was really rude about it. When we dropped it off, he stayed on his phone and barely acknowledged us.
Ty IThe lights had to be fixed. One of turn signals was not working. I was not told that my ball was to high. The attend picked up the tongue and put it on the hitch with out telling me. When I returned the trailer is When I discovered I could not disconnect from the trailer. Fortunately there was a broken cinder block in the yard that I could put under the jack. Not the safest thing to do, but I had no choice.

Helen W20' Uhaul was supposed to have 3/8 tank of fuel and it was completely empty said 1 mile till empty then 0 miles before I left the lot. Had to put in $175 at the nearest station. Maybe it was siphoned?

Michael PThe person at the desk edited my reservation while I stood in front of him to include the $11 a day insurance. He then proceeded to tell me it was not optional to get the extra insurance. I told him I know that insurance is completely useless to someone that already has comprehensive car insurance and refused to take it off my bill. Very unprofessional behavior. The uhaul store off of 200th and Pacific Hwy is a reliable uhaul location that does not scam people like this location.

Andre BTrailer wire harness was damaged, one of the wheel straps was worn by the tires of the trailer (almost unusable) and the passenger side trailer fender was missing. If it weren't for me getting a photo of that after pulling away it would have cost me out of pocket. It became a hassle dropping the trailer off at a different location because of the condition i picked it up in.

JUDY WPolite and efficient. Ask the customer how much estimated weight they will be moving and give them a rough estimate of expected miles per gallon. They estimated my miles perfectly based on the info I gave them. Suggestion: Being cautious, I overfilled by at least four gallons. Could have saved 10 to 15 dollars at least. Nothing more at this time. d

Christie JIt was not Rock Auto's issue but U-haul called me and made a promise of an extra day. U-haul customer service rep was of no help in keeping this promise. I was not told the truth and U-haul failed to keep their end of the promise. Therefore the U-haul customer service sucks. "We don't do that" was their claim. And always "Well who did you talk to?" NO, I will not recommend U-haul to friends.

Kevin LClient drove a total of 23 miles and filled the gas tank before returning the truck. Client said the tank was filled until gas poured out. She kept her fuel receipt. When she returned the truck, there was no one at the office. She was charged a "late drop off fee" and when the client questioned the agent about these charges, the agent told her he doesn't always follow the posted hours of business and he wasn't interested in her fuel receipt since they had already charged her $29.25 for gasoline! Perhaps U-Haul should check this vehicle to make sure the gas tank/fuel line doesn't have holes in it and maybe this agent should follow his posted business hours. The equipment and service from Rock Automotive was substandard and it's not possible to give this location a favorable review. ~Lisa Larchyk llarchyk@aol.com
Lisa LLocation was not marked well enough. Brakes were bad. When l had to go from Drive to Park very difficult. Would not recommend this location.

Joseph MI rented a 6x12 trailer. The trailer itself is 6’ in width, but the ramp and loading space is only 5’. Cargo wider than 5’ cannot be loaded via the ramp because the opening in the trailer is not 6’. I very much wish I had known that before I drove an hour and a half to pick up my load. Not a great experience.
