This place is a total ripoff. Uhaul was dirty had check engine light on. Had 1/4 tank of gas when I got it , I put over 1/4 tank of gas when I returned it . and I was charged for not enough gas .

LORI YThere was a check engine light illuminated when I picked up the truck, but no explanation as to why. It was cleared up when I called them the next morning. Simply having a note in the truck would have relieved some concern before the move. The people who helped me were quite nice and very helpful.
JAMES Has a corporate account, it would be better to be able to search by the dates of the rental and not the date of when the rental was reserved. I understand that it is a rental and that many people do not take care of the rental or how they treat the rental. Lastly, there are too many rental locations within a small areat in the town of Thompson and the Town of Fallsburg. Lastly, there are locations that say they are open at 8 am but do not open until 10 or 11 am. This makes it very difficult for the renter to plan out rental times and pick-ups.
JEFFREY SNeed to keep up on your rental trucks. Very dirty and dusty inside of vehicle. Should have someone wash and clean the inside of your trucks as a routine maintenance.

KEN PThey didn’t mention “after-hours fee” and i got your message only too late. The tank was filled above the level when received the truck and yet you charged me $10 for additional gas! You have charged me a cleaning fee but the truck was clean! Dissatisfied.

If the location is closed - as it is on Saturdays as of noon - you use "mobile check-in" using a smartphone...which would be all very well - IF THEY HAD DECENT INTERNET SERVICE - WHICH THEY DON'T. Check-in took over an hour and a half, required three different cell phones and loads of patience and help from Uhaul's customer service people over the phone. I will say that the over-the-phone customer service staff were super professional and helpful and navigated the way to successfully checking in - I would give them five stars. My problem is that this location is offering a service they are woefully ill-equipped to provide. Returning the truck and checking out was almost as awful as checking in. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend to a friend.

This was misleading and caused me to pay for a rental that I couldn’t use. I’m not happy about spending more than $100 dollars fir mo benefit.

Alexander MI rented a motorcycle trailer and upon bringing it home somebody else had rented it and left nails and other debris in it so I had to clean it out before I could use it otherwise I would have had flat tires the service guy when I picked it up was outstanding couldn't ask for better but I was a bit disappointed because right inside the trailer it says there's a $15 charge if you bring it back dirty well whatever dirt was in it was not for me sheetrock and nails and stuff like that

Thomas HI had set up the rental with a representative who had called me back by phone. It was in a closer location and in the direction I was going. It then got changed to this location which is an hour away from me in the opposite direction from my trip. So the pick up and return cost me 4 extra hours of driving, which with the rest of the trip was not appreciated. Otherwise it went well
LAWRENCE BAttendant assumed that I was lying when I explained to him that the fuel gauge was defective: erratic. He refused to look at my receipt from the gas station which is literally next door and showed that I had just put in 3 gallons of gas. He said that the vehicle is brand new - which it was - and that therefore the gauge was accurate - which it was not. I will mention parenthetically that the mileage charge at $.99 seems excessive. It was $.69 (or $.79?) just last year.

STANLEY SU-haul changed my order and then did not get me a trailer, it did not show back up in Glen Rock. The van rental was twice as much, took an extra 3 hours to pick up and cost an additional $100 for gas and tolls.
Michael CComments are not about this particular location but the entire U-Haul reservation process. We had reserved a 26’ one-way months in advance. Day before our pick-up we are told no long-distance fleet trucks available and we had to take 10’ truck. Completely unacceptable and U-Haul’s antiquated system for not giving customers advance notice is dead. Sorry to say I will never rent from U-Haul again, and will do everything in my power to ruin thus company through social media. Complete waste of my family’s time.
